Capone

Capone was right at the door when I came in. He immediately started rubbing against my legs so I could barely walk inside! I began to read the note on the counter after I said hi to him, and he hopped up on the counter. "Pet me!" I picked him up and got him his supper. While he was eating I gave him fresh water and scooped his litter. When we were done, we played in the living room. He used his scratching post, so I tossed a couple treats for him. We played with his little green frog. I also discovered the laser pen, so he was chasing after that for awhile!

Jerrie

We had more storms again yesterday. Jerrie was sleeping soundly on his blanket on the bed when I came to see him. We were both very sneezy! He came and snuggled with me for quite awhile. He did his usual rolling around and purring while I pet him. Today I came in and Jerrie wasn't in either of his usual two spots! I looked in every open room for him and there was no sign of him. I proceeded to check underneath all the furniture. Finally I found him under the bed, sitting in the fabric that covers the box spring! He didn't want to come out for me at first, but eventually gingerly came out. He seemed to be startled by any little noise! I'm not sure what spooked him. We had some very bad storms last night. Tulsa county had a tornado warning, but thankfully none appeared. It had been storming a lot while you were gone though, so I don't think that was it. There was a package on the door step this morning, so I brough that inside. Then I thought, maybe could the possible doorbell/knocking have scared him? He calmed down a lot after I spent time petting him. He even played a little with me today! He chased after the string on my camera, and went over to his kitty tunnel and batted at that toy.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

I let the boys go outside to play a little while before all the storms came. It was thundering out, so Sugar didn't want to come out with us. Buddy was all over the yard doing his usual rummaging. Jimmy was busy barking back at all the thunder and rumblings he heard! I could faintly hear the sirens going off in Tulsa, so we headed inside and I gave them their meds. They had a little bit to eat before I put them to bed. I was able to get Sugar out just long enough to go potty. She has Jimmy to snuggle with tonight. They are all doing well and I gave them a treat and some food before I left.

Dakota & Benny

I wasn't sure if the rain would stop before I came to see them today. Thankfully it did, and the sun even poked out of the clouds for most of our walk! Kota was very playful today. She began to pick up anything that was blowing around on the sidewalk to play with it! She picked up and tossed around a little stick and a big leaf. Benny got curious whenever she had anything, and of course he wanted it then too! They both tried to chase after any birds that we saw. It was quiet today; most of the neighborhood dogs were inside. Benny had quite a wet belly since he's so low to the ground, but I got them both dried off when we got home. Kota finished all her food for lunch before I left.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

It had stopped raining when I came to see everyone today, so they got to spend a little time outside. They all ran right out there for me. Sugar laid on her little bed out there and the boys were roaming around the yard. We came back inside so they could all eat and drink before they went back to bed. Buddy was guarding the food bowls! He grabbed some kibbles and spit them back out on the carpet. Not really sure what he was doing... silly boy! Jimmy came around and cleaned those up.

The pups were ready to come inside tonight. After I gave the boys their meds, everyone settled down. Buddy had some supper while Jimmy and Sugar ran along the couch and pushed all the pillows off! I think Jimmy was hoping for a rawhide in there, but no such luck. He went and grabbed one out of the basket instead. Sugar rolled around on the couch for awhile, and suddenly was filled with all this energy! She wanted to go outside, and when she got out, started tearing around the backyard as fast as she could! She came back in and rubbed her face all over my arm and pawed at me playfully. Jimmy was content the whole time chewing on his rawhide. I gave them all a treat and put them to bed for the night.

I let the little ones outside right away today. Sugar hid under the bed for a few minutes like usual, then came to the door wanting to join us. It is so nice out! They all appreciated the sun being out. Jimmy curled up by the side of the house, and Sugar sat with me on the patio. Buddy was off searching all over the yard for his critters! Later he came and sprawled out in the sun on the patio too. I left them out for the afternoon to enjoy the beautiful weather!

Jerrie

Jerrie was already waiting for me at the front door yesterday. He followed me around again a little while I took care of his things. Yesterday I caught him on the counter eating the leaves off of one of the plants! It was the one in the little basket that he was after. I scooted him down off the counter as soon as I saw him. Naughty boy! We went into the office and he rolled around on the floor while I pet him. He played with the little toy on the kitty tunnel with me. Today I found Jerrie soaking up some sun on the top of his kitty tree. I moved all the plants into the other laundry room. I left the door to the garage open a crack so I could get through easier with the bigger ones. When I was coming back, I saw a little paw sticking through trying to open the door! He sat and waited for me in the kitchen, giving me the "Are you gonna pet me now?" look. When I finished vacuuming and cleaning his litter pan, I spent the rest of the time giving him his attention.

Dakota & Benny

Benny was happy to see me again today! They both were jumping all over me while I was trying to get each of their leashes on. It was very nice out today after all the rain we've had! Kota got a little treat on her walk today. She scooped up a cracker that was laying on the sidewalk! It was a fairly quiet walk for us today, nothing too exciting happened. Kota went both for me today, she peed a couple times and her stool was normal.

Jerrie

Yesterday Jerrie was sleeping on the bed when I came in to see him. I took care of everything, then went to go give him some attention. He was still a little sniffly yet. After awhile he hopped down onto the floor to be closer to me. He rolled around on the floor, purring away! Jerrie walked in the window sill a little and followed me as I was leaving. He always gives me such a sad face! Today Jerrie was sitting at the front door, waiting for me to come in. He meowed and said good morning, then followed me around while I watered the plants and took care of his things. There was another spot of green leaves on the floor again today. It doesn't look like it's from any of the plants that are on the counter, but I can't tell for sure. I don't know where else he would get that from though! When I was done, we sat in the office. Jerrie walked circles around me and rubbed his head on my leg. He rolled over a few times, just purring away while I rubbed his tummy for him!
