Dakota & Benny

Benny was happy to see me again today! They both were jumping all over me while I was trying to get each of their leashes on. It was very nice out today after all the rain we've had! Kota got a little treat on her walk today. She scooped up a cracker that was laying on the sidewalk! It was a fairly quiet walk for us today, nothing too exciting happened. Kota went both for me today, she peed a couple times and her stool was normal.

Jerrie

Yesterday Jerrie was sleeping on the bed when I came in to see him. I took care of everything, then went to go give him some attention. He was still a little sniffly yet. After awhile he hopped down onto the floor to be closer to me. He rolled around on the floor, purring away! Jerrie walked in the window sill a little and followed me as I was leaving. He always gives me such a sad face! Today Jerrie was sitting at the front door, waiting for me to come in. He meowed and said good morning, then followed me around while I watered the plants and took care of his things. There was another spot of green leaves on the floor again today. It doesn't look like it's from any of the plants that are on the counter, but I can't tell for sure. I don't know where else he would get that from though! When I was done, we sat in the office. Jerrie walked circles around me and rubbed his head on my leg. He rolled over a few times, just purring away while I rubbed his tummy for him!

Dakota & Benny

Today I let Kota and Benny out to go potty right away. They came back inside and I gave Benny his allergy pill. I brought my brush along and brushed Kota for a little while. She's so wiggly, just like mine, so I'm used to that! Since she wasn't too excited about it, I didn't brush her for very long. I got enough hair out of her though, that could almost be another Benny! He went over to sniff and check it out a couple times. He kept rolling over next to me while I was brushing Kota, so I combed his tummy too. We played fetch with some food kibbles again this morning. Kota batted at hers and chased after them, while Benny ran and jumped to catch them just like he would for his ball.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

This morning the boys came outside with me right away, but Sugar came out after awhile. Jimmy ran along the fence with the neighbor dog for a little bit. A bird landed in the backyard and all three went after it! We started to hear some thunder every now and again. There was one loud crack of thunder, and little Jimmy ran around and barked back at it! Buddy didn't even notice, since he was busy hunting. Sugar ran right back into the house! It started to rain after that, so we didn't stay out much longer. I gave the boys their meds. Jimmy and Sugar snuggled with me a little bit, then they all laid down and chewed on a rawhide.

Can we stay inside now? I don't like the thunder!!

Dakota & Benny

Kota and Benny were so excited to go for a walk this afternoon! Kota wouldn't stop woo-wooing at me! It was finally dry out this afternoon. Benny noticed a new lawn ornament in someone's yard, and sure didn't like it being there! He fell behind just to keep growling at it. There were lots of people outside this afternoon, so they both got pretty excited. These three little girls were out playing, and stopped what they were doing to look at Kota and Benny. Tonight I let them outside right away to go potty. They actually wanted to go back inside after they finished their business, so we did. Kota finished her food and I gave Benny his allergy pill. I itched his back for him and he started rolling all over the place! I saw there was a comb on the counter, so I brushed them both for a little bit. I didn't get very much hair out of Kota... I'll have to bring mine over in the morning! I tossed some kibbles around for them tonight. They had a blast with that! Kota even tossed a couple back at me. Then they spent some time chasing and wrestling around with each other.

Kota was obsessed with licking my jeans tonight! Silly girl!

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

I let the boys go out potty right away tonight. Jimmy went tearing around to the side of the house and started to bark! I'm guessing he saw some people out walking that I had passed by. Eventually Sugar decided she wanted to come out too. Buddy was as determined as ever to get whatever he's so interested in inside the bird feeder! He pawed at it and stuck his nose in as far as he could. It was pretty nice out, so we stayed outside the whole time. I gave the boys their meds, then put everyone to bed for the night.

Clovis, Snickers, Sophie & Patches

Patches came running from a couple houses down in the other direction today! It finally stopped raining for awhile, so he must have been roaming about. He came inside with me to get their food ready. Snickers and Clovis were waiting out back today. I got everyone their food and went to the side of the house to call for Sophie. Patches came out and went for Snickers' food, so I put him in the house again. After a little bit Sophie showed up too! They all ate their food, then Sophie and Snickers headed to the front. I let Patches back out and spent some time with Clovis and him. They both decided it was bath time! After awhile I went out front to see Snickers and Sophie. She was sleeping on the hood of my car today, and when I went over to her, Snickers came out from underneath my car! Patches came out too, and I pet them all for awhile. Snickers went back under my car where it was nice and warm.

Roxie, Ralphi & Rudy

This morning I let everyone out to go potty quick before breakfast. Roxie and Ralphi were more interested in going for their walk than eating their breakfast! After everyone was done, I got them all hooked up and away we went! It was lightly raining out this morning, but they didn't seem to mind. We took a really nice long walk. There were a couple dogs out in their yards, so they all got excited! Roxie would let out a little growl at them. They were pretty wet when we got home, so I dried them each off and let them go potty again before we went inside. This afternoon I let Rudy out right away. I saw the neighbors out playing soccer, so I figured I'd let Roxie and Ralphi go on our walk. They stopped to see what we were up to. Rudy saw them too and started to bark! He ran over to them, then back to me and back again. The little girl pet Rudy quick then went back to playing their game so he could go potty for me. It was dry out for our walk this afternoon, but very humid, so the little ones got pretty hot. It wasn't quite as quiet this afternoon either; so much to see! There were lots of dogs out in their yards, kids playing and people walking. So my three did quite a bit of barking themselves! We even saw a kitty laying out on the sidewalk, that took off as soon as it saw us coming. All three of them tried to run and get it! Everyone would stop to take a sip from the puddles we would pass once in awhile. We didn't take quite as long of a walk as we did this morning, so that they could all cool down and have enough water before I put them to bed. They all sprawled out on the cold cement floor in the garage, and Roxie laid right in front of the fan!

Roxie, Ralphi & Rudy

This afternoon I came in and let each one out to go potty right away. They all did really good for me! Roxie was actually too excited to go potty, and just wanted me to pet her. So, I got the other two and we went for a walk right away. The rain had finally stopped, just in time! We went for a nice long walk, and the little ones got pretty pooped! They all walked very good for me. The sidewalks were still pretty wet, so they all were soaked about half way up. I dried Ralphi off first, and he didn't want to go back inside until I got Roxie and Rudy finished. When we got back they all were so thirsty! Since they drank so much I took them each out to go potty one more time before I put them back to bed. Tonight they all went potty for me and came right back inside. Roxie and Rudy both wanted all of my attention! Rudy kept giving me kisses. Ralphi would squeeze his way in once in awhile for some attention too. They were all pretty mellow and walked around in the garage and laundry room. We will have more fun tomorrow when we can take a couple walks. When I grabbed their treats, they went right to bed for me. Such good puppies!

I let the boys out to go potty tonight. Sugar hid under the bed for awhile, then came to the door and barked so she could come outside with us! The boys did their hunting around for awhile. Jimmy ran along the fenceline with the neighbor dog a little bit. He must recognize the sound their door makes, because he ran right to the fence before I knew what he was doing! Sugar apparently doesn't like to get wet. She went potty, then came back and wiped her feet on the "Wipe Your Paws" rug! haha! Then she rolled around in the doggie bed before she sat at the door, ready to go back inside. After we went in, I gave the boys their meds. Buddy started digging in the food dish and had kibbles all over the floor and in the water bowl. He stuck his whole nose in the water to grab the kibbles out, then shook his head to get the water off! Charlie was talkative tonight. He said "hi" and I heard a pretty distinct "Buddy"!
