Tyler, Emma, Lacey & Luke
Everyone was pretty sleepy this morning and didn't know I was there until I shut the door. Lacey came outside with Emma and I this morning. Everyone went both for me, and Tyler's stool was normal but he almost seemed like he was having a hard time. That's the first time I've seen him go, so I couldn't say for sure! They were pretty excited for their breakfast this morning. It was funny to see Tyler and Emma prancing about! Lacey jumped up and bumped her bowl in my hand, so she got to sneak a little food before I was ready to give it to her. Luke was snoozing on the bed again this morning and came out for a little bit. He is still inside. I sat on the couch again and this time Lacey took no time at all to hop right in my lap! She's warmed up to me quite a bit since my first visit yesterday.
Taz
Taz was lounging out by his tree this morning until he saw me get out of the car. It was a nice cooler morning, so he was ready to go after having two rainy days! We took a little bit of a detour today on the first of the loose leash areas on his long route. There were a few people walking on the path, so I took him over to the little bridge over the water for a little bit until the people had gone by. Taz looked out at the water and seemed pretty excited to be in a different area than where we usually go. He knows his route pretty well. We got back on our way, and headed for the other loose leash area. There was a turtle and a frog that both slid or hopped into the water as soon as Taz approached them. A couple geese were sitting on the other side of the pond and Taz curiously looked at them for a little bit. When we got home I threw the ball for him a little bit, but he wasn't too interested today. He kept hearing something and went over to the fence to look in the bushes on the other side.

Tyler, Emma, Lacey & Luke
I could hear Tyler barking when I pulled in the driveway this afternoon. He and Emma met me at the door and said hi before I let Lacey out. I took everyone outside right away. I grabbed the collar for Tyler and was trying to figure out if I needed to unclip it or just slip it on, but he stuck his nose right through it and showed me! I saw Luke was in the bedroom sleeping on the bed. He got up right away and came out for some attention. I got their supper ready and they all stood in the kitchen to wait. Tyler is so tall! I'm not used to having a big doggie nose hovering over the counter! haha! This evening all the dogs were waiting at the door when I came in. Lacey didn't want to go outside with Emma and I, but she came out later with me after her supper. Luke was out there and he came over to have me pet him while I waited for Lacey. He acted like he wanted to come in, but put one foot in the door and then ran back out. I sat on the couch after everyone ate and Lacey came and crawled into my lap. Emma and Tyler laid on the floor on either side of me and both laid their heads on one of my legs! I called for Luke before I left and got him in for the night since it's been raining on and off.
Maycie & Luke
Maycie and Luke still haven't barked since that first time I came in. They got very excited and started crying to go outside as soon as they saw me! I threw the ball for Luke while Maycie was exploring in the backyard. It started to rain pretty heavily, so we took a break to go inside so they could eat their breakfast. Luke brought his ball with him and put it in his food bowl until he was finished. Then, he put it in his water bowl while he took a drink. He grabbed it out and shook it, so water flew all over! I guess he cleaned all the slime off for me! haha! I changed his water and then we went back outside to play some more. Maycie was pretty mellow this morning, but was much more energetic this afternoon. They were very excited to go outside and play! Luke played fetch with me again, and Maycie explored. She was hanging out over by the shed, then disappeared! She crawled under the ramp and was in there for awhile. Luke would bring me his ball, drop it, then kick it away from me before I could grab it! He was kicking it around like a little soccer ball. It started to rain again, so we went in and they ate their supper. Luke put his ball in his food dish again while he ate. As soon as they were finished, they were ready to go out again!
Taz
Taz was still sleeping again today when I came to see him. I walked over to the grill and got all his stuff ready and he still hadn't come out. I called a couple times, then finally he slowly came out and stretched. It was raining pretty heavily today, so Taz and I just went for a short walk. He wanted to go walk so badly that he was crying! After we got back we played fetch for awhile. He didn't see me throw it for the first time, so I had to help him find it. He just kept looking back at me, like he thought I still had it and was tricking him.

Maycie & Luke
This morning Maycie and Luke didn't even bark when I came in. We went outside to play for awhile. Maycie went out to a corner of the yard and was exploring, while I was playing fetch with Luke. She helped him chase after the ball for awhile, and even got it a couple times! She found a stick in the yard so I threw that for her a little too. They came inside and had their breakfast this morning before I left. This afternoon Maycie helped Luke chase after the ball almost the whole visit. He looks like one of those frisbee dogs the way he jumps and twists in the air! She chased after him a couple times and tried biting the back of his legs. Later, the neighbor dogs were out and Maycie was running back and forth along the fence with them and trying to look under the fence. Tonight Maycie was a little sassy with Luke! She was growling at him and biting at his back legs when we were going out the door! She did that a few more times when he was running after the ball. Luke couldn't find the ball a couple times, but he did a good job of tracking it in the dark! By the time I decided to go out and help him look for it, he'd have it already. Maycie explored around the yard a little, far out enough that I couldn't see her in the dark. Then all of a sudden, there would be a flash of white flying right toward me!
Dakota & Benny
I let Kota and Benny go outside right away tonight. I threw the ball for them when Benny would give it up for me. Kota decided to play with a branch of leaves that had fallen out of the tree. She tossed it around for herself and pawed at it a few times! Someone was mowing the field behind the house, so Benny was going crazy! He was barking and running along the fenceline every time it came close. He was too concerned with that to play fetch anymore! Haha! When the mower came right up to the fence Kota helped Benny out. Kota went potty while we were out back and it was somewhat formed, but still on the soft side. Benny was so worried about protecting his yard from the evil lawnmower, that he didn't want to come inside!
Taz
Taz was sleeping in his house this morning when I came to see him. I had to call him to get him to come out! It was raining this morning, so we just went for the medium walk and spent the rest of the time playing fetch. I think I actually tired him out throwing the ball! He couldn't find it once, so I went and got it for him. Then later, he didn't seem to be interested in going after it anymore.
Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie
I let the boys out right away this morning. Sugar just went and hid under the bed. Buddy and Jimmy were searching around the patio for something. Buddy climbed all over everything and tried to pick up the doggie bed in the corner. It started raining pretty good, so they didn't get to stay out all morning. After I gave the boys their meds, I got Sugar out of hiding with a treat and had her go outside quick. She came in and sat in Buddy's usual spot on the top of the couch with a rawhide. When I was rounding them up to put them to bed, Jimmy grabbed a rawhide and was tossing it around for himself!

Maycie & Luke
Maycie and Luke were barking when I walked in through the front door, but did great when I let them outside! Luke was just fine and didn't growl or anything. Luke and I played fetch while Maycie was hunting down June bugs! I'm pretty sure she got every single bug that moved on the patio! I tired out Luke pretty good, so he eventually laid down and didn't want to chase after it anymore. At one point he couldn't find the ball, so I went out to help him look for it. I gave Maycie a back scratch while Luke was resting. When it was time to go in, Maycie followed me right away. It took Luke a second, but he eventually came too. He walked into the garage, then laid in the kennel that's in there! Luke was pretty thirsty! I think he was trying to cool down, because he stuck his foot in the water and splashed it all over. I let them go potty one more time before I left since they drank a lot.
