Taz

Taz saw me coming down the driveway this morning and went running over to the gate right away. He was dancing around impatiently as I walked up! I gave him his allergy pills and put on his collar, then away we went. We took the medium route today so that we could play fetch a little longer. He was so excited yesterday and wanted me to keep throwing his ball for him. It was a little chilly this morning, but Taz didn't seem to mind at all. After we got back from our walk he just couldn't wait! I threw the ball for the first time and he ran circles around his dog house a few times before finally coming for his treat.

Dakota & Benny

Benny was pretty calm when I first came in, but in no time he was running his laps. Today was pretty quiet; we didn't run into any other dogs. Kota and Benny were doing their little race, barking back and forth at each other when we first started. We were coming up to a guy mowing his lawn. Benny perked up and started getting ready to sound real tough, but we crossed the street. At one point, Kota and Benny both ran circles in opposite directions around me to try and chase after a couple birds! It took me a minute to get everyone untangled without falling over! Benny was very happy today, because his favorite dogs were in their backyard. He was so excited, chasing along the fence, that even Kota joined in!

Taz

Taz was lounging by a tree in his yard when I pulled up this morning. As soon as I got out, he started jumping and barking at the gate! I gave him his allergy pills for today and then got his collar put on. After I let him out he was dancing around excitedly until we got on our way. We took the long route again today. The little dog was out in the front yard again, so he didn't explore too much. When we got to the other section where he gets a longer leash, a bunch of cyclists came through, so I kept him close until they passed. After we got back, we played fetch for a little bit again.

Koko & Sierra

The girls were excited this morning! I let them out and they both started sniffing me all over. They could smell the other dogs on me that I was with earlier. I like Sierra's pretty new harness! I got their breakfast ready, but Sierra was too interested in playing lighty to eat. While I was cleaning up their potty pads Koko came from behind me, grabbed my arm with her front paws and gave me kisses! When I was finished we played lighty. Today they had the whole living room to run around so Koko was happy about that! This evening Sierra had only eaten the chicken pieces from her food after I'd left. The girls followed me around while I got their supper ready and cleaned their potty pads. Sierra ate the chicken and some of the kibble for supper, but that was it. We played lighty for quite awhile and Koko was racing around the room as fast as she could! Once in awhile they would figure out that the light was coming from my hand. Koko tried jumping up and biting it, and Sierra just would nudge my hand. I said goodbye to the girls for probably the last time... but you will have to give them lots of hugs and kisses once in awhile for me! I will really miss them!

Dakota & Benny

I let Kota and Benny out this morning and gave them their meds. I played fetch with Benny for awhile, when he would give up the ball. He came over by me a lot so I could get his itchies for him. Kota wrestled around with Benny and I, and later sat by me so I'd pet her. She wasn't interested in her breakfast, so I grabbed a few of her kibbles and started tossing them around. She had a blast with that! Sometimes she'd pick them up and throw them around too before she'd eat them. A couple times one would land on her back and she would look from side to side, until it would fall off! It was really nice out this afternoon, so we went for our walk. We encountered a dachschund and a bulldog on our walk today, but thankfully the owners were there to stop them from following us! Benny wasn't happy at all! After he settled down, he helped Kota chase after some robins. Kota saw a little pink golf ball and picked that up along the way. She kept tossing it ahead of us, then it'd bounce and she would run after it! She kept doing that for the majority of our walk today, until we saw one of the dogs and had to leave it behind. When we got home I tossed some kibbles for Kota again. Benny helped her catch them too, when she let him! She ate a good amount for lunch before I put her back to bed.

Taz

Taz really wanted to go for his walk this morning! He started barking and crying when I walked up to the fence. I gave him his allergy pills and then we went on our way. His little sniffer was working hard this morning! I think the wind was carrying a lot of scents that he picked up. He was looking around a lot and sticking his nose into the air. We passed the bbq house and there was a dog barking in the backyard, so Taz started to cry a little. We took the long route today, and that little dog was out in the front yard. Taz saw him from way back, so that's all he was interested in. After we got back from our walk we played fetch for a few minutes.

Dakota & Benny

It was really nice out this afternoon, so we went for our walk. It wasn't too hot or cold, so Benny didn't get too tired out. Kota was chasing after a few birds again today and came very close to one of them! Benny was in a chasing mood too! He tried to get the cars, ice cream truck, mail truck, and a motorcycle that passed by! He was pretty disappointed today too. The dogs weren't out today at his absolute favorite house, where he races along the fenceline with them! He was ready, and then he sort of stopped every couple steps after he realized they weren't there. Tonight I let them outside and gave them their meds. Kota finished her food from earlier and snuck a couple bites from Benny's bowl on the counter before I caught her! Benny and I played fetch for awhile tonight. Kota and Benny wrestled around a little and we all chased each other around for a bit. Kota wanted to go back outside again, so I let her out. I went to call her back inside and I saw her jump like she'd been spooked by something. She started barking like crazy and Benny did too from inside. I walked out there to see what she was doing, and I saw a big black cat all puffed up and hissing on the top of the fence! Kota kept barking at it and the cat just sat there until I got Kota back inside.

Taz

Taz was happy to go for his walk this morning. As we were walking down the driveway, he spotted some kids walking in the distance and began to cry a little! They were gone by the time we got there. A couple boys were riding their bikes in circles in the street near us, and Taz didn't seem to notice too much. We took the long route today, and it was very comfortable out. Taz stared at one of the houses we passed by, like he was expecting that little dog to come outside! When we got back, I had him sit by his house for his chewie treat. He was trying to be sneaky and moved forward really quickly, so we had to do it again until he stayed!

Dakota & Benny

I could hear Benny barking before I even walked in today! He grabbed his ball right away and proceeded to do his laps while I let Kota out. He stood up against my leg while I was getting Kota's harness on, wanting me to play fetch! He tried to bring his ball along for our walk and even tried to get it after I tossed it back inside. He was barking nonstop for the first little bit of our walk today! Someone was excited! Kota was curious about all kinds of things. We passed a lady walking her dog and some kids playing football in the street and she kept looking back to watch them. When we got home, they were ready to get inside and have a drink of water. Benny waited for me to get him some fresh cool water and Kota waited for her ice cubes!
Somebody's tired!

Koko & Sierra

Koko and Sierra were very excited this morning and were jumping up and down at the gate! Sierra had finished the last little bit of her supper from last night. I waited with her in the kitchen this morning and she finished all of her breakfast for me! Koko came and said hi while I was waiting, after she had finished hers. I cleaned up their potty pads and then we played lighty. Little miss Koko was a little sassy girl this morning! She sure didn't want to share the light with Sierra. She kept running over and growled or barked at Sierra when she was trying to chase the light! Tonight the girls were happy to see me again. They were running ahead of me to the kitchen and bounced up and down by the drawer, ready to play! Sierra was way too excited tonight to eat her food, even with me waiting for her. She did have a couple bites though. We played lighty for awhile again. Koko still didn't want to share! She barked a lot more than usual, but she was having a blast!
