Mattie, Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

Everyone is doing fine tonight. I let them all outside and then got their meds ready when they came back in. I had a lot of little eyes staring at me while I was getting out the food container! Jimmy started jumping up and down almost as high as the counter! After they all got finished eating, Sugar was ready for her treat. Charlie was content cruzing around on his cage. I left him out since you will be home tomorrow. Buddy was munching on his food for a bit yet and then he and Jimmy were getting a little sassy at each other from across the kitchen. I made Jimmy come sit with me in the living room lol! I put everyone in for the night and gave them all another treat.

Dakota & Benny

Dakota was so excited to go for her walk today that she kept knocking me over and licking my face while I tried to put her harness on! It was a really nice day out for us. Benny chased after a couple cars, but we didn't see the mail truck today. We were going past some people working outside, so I put Benny on the opposite side of me, and he didn't bark at all! He was calm and acted like he never even saw them. Kota went both on our walk and it looked normal this time. On our way back we saw a little chocolate lab puppy outside that wanted to come play. After that we saw a St. Bernard, who also wanted to come play, and was giving his owner a hard time to try and keep him walking! There were lots of dogs outside in their yards, so Benny got himself pretty hoarse towards the end of our walk. When we got back, Kota was so thirsty she didn't give me a chance to get her harness off before she was in her cage. And Benny was so pooped that he just crashed on the kitchen floor!

Kota & Benny were excited to go today! Kota was trying to run most of the way, so she kept hopping along. She went both on our walk today, and it was very soft again. She was walking around squatting for a bit afterwards too. They were both trying to run along when Benny caught sight of the mail truck! We followed it most of the way back home, so he was growling under his breath for awhile. Other than that, nothing too exciting happened today!

I always try to put Benny's food up right away when I get there so I don't forget. That could be why it's coming back if she's getting his food. She didn't go both for me today, so I can't report on that. Benny seemed to have a little extra pent up energy today. He went crazy for the mail truck! It drove past us a few times and he would lounge at it! He did that for a couple cars that went by too. One time I saw the lady driver was just giggling. lol We had a good walk today, a little cloudy but not too bad out. Kota was very curious about a couple other dogs we saw along the way. When we got back I took her collar back off and she nibbled on a couple pieces of food.

Maggie & Moe

The girls both went outside right away for me this morning. It was pretty nice out already and the sun was out, so they stayed out for a bit and explored. They chased each other around for awhile before we went back inside. Moe and I played fetch with her little purple ball while Maggie sat in her bed by the fireplace, chewing on a green squeaky toy! Moe had a little breakfast before I left.

Sugar was wearing her blanket like a little poncho when I came in tonight! I had to get her out of it because she couldn't on her own. Everyone was ready to go outside pretty quick. When they came in I got Mattie and Jimmy their meds again. I grabbed another container of the food so I could give Buddy his. Sugar must really like it! She was barking up a storm the whole time I was dividing it up into bowls! Buddy ate all of his with no problem. Mattie and Buddy wanted to go back outside after they were finished eating supper. Jimmy snuggled with me for awhile. Everyone went back to bed right away for me and then I gave them their treats. I think Buddy likes that, because then he doesn't have to guard his treat so much! lol

Um... I seem to be stuck. Can you help me out of this?

Maggie & Moe

Maggie & Moe were very excited when I came in this afternoon! Maggie went out for me right away, but Moe didn't want to go out. She kept getting toys and rolling over by me! I eventually was able to pick her up and take her out with me. They both started running and chasing around like usual. After awhile Moe was ready to go back inside. We went in and played for a little bit. I gave them each a treat after we came inside. Tonight they were just as excited to see me. Moe still didn't want to go outside for me right away. She brought me a rawhide and I was able to bribe her out with that. It got a little cooler out so they both wanted to go back inside pretty quick. When we came in they both sat by the couch and stared at me, patiently waiting for their treats! After they got a snack they were bringing me toys, jumping on my lap and licking my hands! Maggie wanted all the attention and got jealous if I pet Moe. When I was leaving they both snuggled up in their beds by the fireplace.

All the pups are doing fine this afternoon! I opened Sugar's cage and she stood up, stretched, and ran into the next cage! She kept burying her head in the blankets when I came to see if she would come out. Everyone went outside this afternoon except for Sugar today (usually Mattie is the one who stays in). They all went back in their cages right away for me again and Sugar switched cages. lol

Sugar was hiding in her blankie again this morning when I came in to let them out. I let everyone else out to go potty and she just sat in her cage. When they all came back in I gave Mattie and Jimmy their meds. I didn't even try with Buddy and used that container of food to give his pills in. Sugar finally emerged from her cave! The other 3 finished their portions within seconds! They really like that. I had to make sure no one tried to get Buddy's till he was finished. When they were done, Mattie started rolling around all over the floor! Sugar and Buddy wanted to go outside, so I let them out for a little bit. Buddy came back in and found a rawhide, then jumped on his spot on the couch. Everyone went in their beds for me right away this morning.

Can I have my treat now??

Buddy met me at the door this afternoon. When I went in to let the other two out of their cages, Sugar stood up and was covered by the blanket. She made her little barking sounds and didn't want to come out right away! I tried to find her in there and finally she emerged. I let them all out (except Mattie), and Mattie laid down by the door. It was nice and sunny out when I came, so Jimmy was too busy playing to come back inside! I gave them all a treat when they came in. Buddy didn't want to go back in his cage for me, so I let him stay out again.
