Sophie & Roxy
The girls saw me pull in the driveway today. They started barking and wagging their tails frantically while I was getting the mail! I got the fish food thawing and then let them inside. Usually I like to let one dog in at a time so I can get their paws wiped off. They both pushed the door open and ran inside. I was trying to wipe paws while feet were flying and they were jumping, tumbling, and licking like crazy! I got them as best as I could catch them! I kept them occupied with treats while I filled the tank up. The flashlight burned out on me. Not sure what happened, I know it clicked when I turned it off last time! But maybe I didn't click it hard enough. The girls were jumping from chair to chair and wagging. Sophie started rolling on her back and hanging off the arm of the chair! I tried to get a picture. She's so funny! Then she slumped off the arm of the chair to the floor, walked over to me and melted into my lap. She rolled around in my lap while Roxie was licking and licking at my face!
Taz
Taz was just sitting outside under the trampoline when I pulled into the driveway this morning. The last couple mornings he was all snuggled in his house until I got out of the car. I went in and checked the thermostat this morning, and looks like it worked. When I came out Taz was barking and running circles around his house! I guess he was ready to go. There was no wind chill today so it was warmer than the last couple days, but still only about 18 when I came. We went for our walk on the medium route today, then came back to play fetch for a little bit. I went in his house to give him food and water, and noticed that it's nice and cozy in there! I made him sit for his chewie treat and he tried to sneak closer again today. So this time I walked back and made him sit again and wait. He didn't move a muscle!

Jiffy & Toby
Jiffy and Toby were wide awake and ready for me this morning! They cleaned out their water bowl again, so I got them outside right away. They both did their thing and came right back inside. It sure was chilly again today! After they ate they had a little bit of energy and started sort of wrestling around. I almost got knocked over a couple times! Tonight I took them both out again right away when I got there. Jiffy had done his business and we were about to head back inside. Toby came over and stood right in front of me and wouldn't budge. I started to walk around him, trying not to trip and fall in the snow, and Jiffy somehow got loose from me! Them huskies.... I tell ya! They sure know how to be elusive when you're trying to catch them! Good thing for me, I got a couple tricks up my sleeve. I finally got him after a couple minutes of him tearing around the yard, and made him go inside. Then Toby wouldn't come in... I fed Jiffy and continued calling for Toby. He looked at me a couple times and eventually wandered inside. They were very good for me and I know they will be happy that you are home tonight!
Taz
I got the thermostat changed in the house this morning. I will go in tomorrow too just to double check it. Taz and I just played fetch today. It was only about 2 degrees with the windchill and a little windy. I put down some more hay for Taz in his house too, so he'll stay cozy and warm. I thought his water would be frozen solid today, but it wasn't and it looks like he drank a good amount before it froze, so I think it'll be fine. He drank a bit when I was there today too. He did very well for me playing fetch. He brought the ball back right away and sat in front of me. I would take the ball and hand him a piece of treat. One time the ball bounced up and buried itself in the snow. He had to try and dig to find it, and very delicately picked it out of the snow!

Jiffy & Toby
Jiffy and Toby are doing just fine today. This morning when I came in they were pretty sleepy yet. They both got up and did a big stretch before they started jumping up and down by the gate. Jiffy does his little howl at me all the time now. He usually does it when I first get there before I take them outside. And now he howls after he's done eating and must be ready to play! Toby came right back in this morning. Must have been too chilly out there for him. Tonight when I let them out he stayed out again for quite awhile. I guess it gives Jiffy just enough time to finish eating before it's Toby's turn. I was wearing gloves tonight when I came in and Jiffy seemed pretty intriqued by them. He kept trying to stick his nose in my pocket to check them out.
Sophie & Roxy
The fish were all out when I came in today, must be hungry! I got the food started to thaw out and then let the girls in. They were very excited to come inside! They were jumping and rolling all over the place. I sat down on the floor with them and got attacked with puppy kisses! Sophie started rolling over on her back and snuggling up next to me. I had them sit and gave them both a biscuit while I filled the fish tank. Sophie came over to see what I was doing. I sat and snuggled and played with them for awhile. They are so sweet! I filled up their food and water bowls before I left. That self-waterer was completely frozen, but the heated bowl was just fine. It's a good thing you got that, since we will be getting some very chilly temps this next week!
Taz
Taz and I went on the long route for our walk this morning. There was a little bit more snow today that fell overnight. When we were leaving I noticed he was looking at something while we walked down the driveway. I looked too and saw a rabbit running through the yards! Taz walked very good for me again today and sat for me at all his spots. As we were coming back we saw the neighbor and his dog outside. When we got back I fed him and filled his water bowl. It had almost completely froze so I had to break it out of the bowl first. I made him sit by his house before I left to give him his chewie. He was pretty sneaky and crept forward once when I turned my head quick to make sure I wasn't going to trip and fall, since I was walking backwards! Other than that, he stayed for me until I told him it was ok.

Jiffy & Toby
The boys were jumping up and down again this morning when I came in. I took them both out to go potty. The water I gave them last night was gone, so I filled their bowl up again. Toby drank almost all of it right away and Jiffy drank all of what was left! I see what you meant in your email about how much Jiffy likes his friend! lol I let them both go potty again before I left since they drank so much. This evening I took them out again and Toby stayed out longer and explored in the yard for awhile. I fed Jiffy right away while Toby was out. When he was done, he was in a very playful mood and we played with one of his toys for a minute. Then Jiffy laid down and rolled over for me and got a tummy rub! Toby ate right after he came inside.
Suzzie, Heiny, Boo, Quartz, Fudge & Fluffy
Well we're supposed to get more snow tonight.... they're saying 1-2 inches in Tulsa and up to 3 north of Tulsa. You aren't going to like the bitter cold! I walked a dog this morning when it was 16 degrees with a windchill of 4! Brrr! Everyone will be happy to see you tomorrow. :) Quartz came running when I called to get his treats with Boo. I didn't see the other two today, I even tried looking for them in their usual spots. The girls were all excited when they came inside. Suzzie gave me her cute smiles. I don't think Quartz left the bed most of the time i was there today. Boo followed me around and pawed at me while I was busy cleaning the litter pans. I told them all that mom and dad will be home soon!
We're waiting for you to come home!!

Jiffy & Toby
Jiffy and Toby were both bouncing up and down when I turned the light on in the kitchen! Jiffy started doing his little husky howl at me. I love when they do that! I put his collar on and we all went outside so they could go potty. They both went and Toby stayed out a little longer, exploring the yard. When we got in Jiffy started licking my pants and Toby was itching his poor little head on me. I gave them a little more water and fed them, and they both ate before I left.
