Harvi, Porthos & Athos

I pulled in tonight and in the shadows I saw a cat figure sitting in front of the garage. As soon as I got out of the car, Porty was at my feet, weaving in and out between my legs. I luckily haven't fallen yet... lol! He followed me into the house right away, so I gave him some attention before I went out. I went into the garage and started calling for Atty while I was getting Harvi's food together. Harvi heard me and was at the door waiting. I could hear her sniffing through the door! I opened it and she started jumping around right away. I closed the door and sat with her a bit and pet her while she ate. Then I heard a meowing from the inside of the garage. Atty was home! I put him in the house, so the boys are in for the night. After I opened the kitty door, I filled their food up and Atty had to have a bite to eat before he came back inside for some attention. Then he wandered off and Porty and I found him curled up on a bed, giving himself a bath.

Suzzie, Heiny, Boo, Quartz, Fudge & Fluffy

Boo and Quartz greeted me at the door today. Boo tried to steal Quartz's, but they both got their treats. Someone got sick in the other bathroom and in the hallway. I got it all cleaned up ok. When I came down the hallway I saw Fudge was sitting on the bed in the spare bedroom and Fluffy was sleeping on the pillows in your bed. Fluffy jumped down and hid when I walked in to turn the faucet on. Suzzie and Heiny were excited to come in. Suzzie walked in with no trouble again. Boo came and sat in my lap while I pet the girls. I changed out their water before I left since both bowls were full of leaves.

Roxie, Ralphi & Rudy

Roxie, Ralphi and Rudy were happy to go play outside this afternoon! It turned out to be such a gorgeous day! They all played fetch with me a lot. Ralphi or Rudy would bring the log back for me, and all three would run out to chase after it. Some geese flew over and they all tried to chase them. Roxie rolled around in the yard a bit. I got a few surprise big bear hugs from Rudy when I wasn't paying attention to where he was! They ran and played and had a great time in the warm sun. Roxie didn't even want to come inside when it was time to go.

Cali

Cali is doing well today. Not too much new happened. She spent most of the time sitting in my lap, getting her head pet every little bit. She got a new flavor of food today and ate almost all of it while I was there. Then we played with her mousey for a little bit, till she started getting feisty. lol I tossed the mouse up and it landed on her back and she walked around with it for awhile!

Aramis

Aramis came out of the bedroom, doing his quiet little "meow meow" hello when I came in. I sat down on the floor with him and gave him lots of attention. He stood up with his front paws on my shoulder and rubbed his head all over my forehead and gave me his sweet little kisses! Then he jumped up on the couch and did it, since he was closer to my face and didn't have to try and balance. He rolled over onto his side and his little motor started going. I got his itchies under his chin for him. He was loving that up and gently pawed at my hand and sort of grabbed on. I gave him his pill and some more treats before I left. I will miss him, he's such a sweetie!

Roxie, Ralphi & Rudy

Everyone was quite excited this morning when I let them out of their cages. They were running back and forth between me and the back door. Roxie came sliding across the tile to the front door and rolled up the rug, then Rudy came sliding too! It was pretty funny! I let them all out and gave them their breakfast. Rudy was first to finish and wanted to play fetch afterwards. Rudy didn't like that, but he didn't want to leave his food either so he kept running back and forth between the two. Then he just grabbed the log and brought it over to his food dish! Ralphi actually wanted to play fetch today too, so he kept bringing it to me to throw. When he was bored with that, he and Roxie started wrestling around. Everything was all cold and frosted over this morning, but seemed to be warming up quickly from the sun. Should be a nice day out!

Sierra & Koko

I'm not sure what's up with Sierra. She didn't eat her food from last night, so I tossed it. She did so good that one day! This morning she just ate the chicken pieces again, so hopefully she will be hungry and eat the rest after I leave. We didn't get to play with the lighty too much today, cause someone was naughty! One of them had an accident by the bookcase. So I used the cleaner and got it all cleaned up. Then after I was finished changing their potty pads, I noticed white fluffy stuff all over by the side of the bed! They had pulled some of the stuffing out of the pillow on the bed! I picked it all up and put it on the counter in case you wanted to fix it. We did play lighty a little bit before I left and I told them mom should be home today!

Roxie, Ralphi & Rudy

I got your note about tomorrow. That should be fine, just let me know! I let everyone out and filled their water bowl. Rudy gave me his usual sloppy wet kiss after drinking a bunch, while I'm still pouring! Roxy was quite the itchy girl tonight. I barely had to touch her and she would just melt to the ground, leg going like crazy! Rudy and Ralphi took turns with the log, while Roxi hung out by me. After awhile Rudy suddenly became interested in me. He would look over at me and would randomly run at me, giant paws flying! He's so funny! Someone was outside calling for their dog or something, so the whole neighborhood started barking. That got the kids all riled up! They each would stop whatever they were doing and let out a bark... at nothing. I let them all in to go to bed for the night. Rudy wanted to be the first in, pushed the door open and almost knocked me over! lol It surprised me because usually he waits till the other two go in. He was all excited that he was the only one inside, but still handed me his paws to be wiped off like a good boy.

Harvi, Porthos & Athos

The boys were waiting at the door when I came in tonight. Atty caught up some more on his missed attention. I spent some time petting them for awhile before I let them run free! Porty laid on the floor next to me and started playing with buttons on my jacket. When we were done, they followed me into the garage to feed Harvi. Atty was a naughty boy and hopped right up on the hood of the truck! He came down as soon as I started pouring food into his bowl. Harvi was a bouncy excited little girl again tonight. She's warmed up to me a lot more than last time I watched them. When I came back in, this time I saw Atty sitting on top of the roof of the truck, nosing the string on the garage door opener! He saw me then slid himself, front feet first, down the windshield. It reminded me of sledding! I let them go outside tonight. They were hanging out by my car, smelling it when I came out after locking up. They just walked down the road till I started driving, then they ran off.

Sierra & Koko

Koko & Sierra were sure happy to see me both times today! They were jumping up and down at the gate while I was trying to let them out of the bedroom. This morning they were getting so excited to play lighty that they were jumping and playing around on the bed. Sierra was rolling around on the floor like crazy! It was so funny to watch! She still just wants to eat the little chicken pieces then doesn't touch the rest until I leave. This evening I could barely walk around because they were so busy sniffing my legs! I had just come from walking a couple other dogs. We played with the lighty both visits for awhile before I left. I think it's funny how Koko always has to grab a toy and carry it around when she chases the light!
