Sadie, Chloe & Patches

This evening I came in and saw Patches lounging on the back of the couch. She meowed at me as I let Sadie in. Sadie was going crazy, excited as could be! I got her her dinner and got some for Patches as well. I went to scoop the litter box quick and called for Chloe. When I got back to the living room, I saw she was sitting next to the dining table. Patches came up on the table and got a couple pets. I went and sat on the floor in the living room and Sadie immediately snuggled up to me. She got her pets and chest scratchies. Chloe came over for some love too. In no time, Sadie was laying on her back getting her belly rubs! Before I left, she got a couple bedtime cookies.

Micah, Henry, Houston, Charlie, Smudge & Finn

Today I walked in and Finn scrambled from out behind the Keurig. I guess I startled her! Haha. Not sure if she was napping back there or what. Houston was in the living room, along with Micah sitting  next to the tree. I went looking around for the others quick. Henry appeared on the dining room table. Not sure where he came from. I didn't see the other two today. I did see Smudge yesterday though. Charlie must have a good spot in a closet or something! I got Micah his food and kept the others from trying to take over while he ate. Finn and Houston gave up and started wrestling around on the floor instead. Haha. Henry and Finn finished up after Micah was done. Houston and Finn were quite spunky today and were having a blast chasing each other around!

Murdy

Today Murdy was making his way down the hall to see me when I got there. He meowed and led the way to the kitchen. Murdy took his medicine and helped me get his food ready. While he ate, I cleaned his box and filled his other dishes. I went and got his toy, then we headed to our spot. Murdy got some snuggles and pets in, then was ready for playtime. He leapt and pounced on the feathers and had a blast. Later on, he was in a lovey mood again and kept coming over for attention. He even climbed up on my shoulders and sat there awhile, purring away! He never does that! Haha.

Micah, Henry, Houston, Charlie, Smudge & Finn

Today I came in and saw Henry right away. He came over to say hi while I went to look for the others. To my suprise, I only found Micah at first. He was lounging on the bed in one of the kid's rooms. As I was heading to the master bedroom, Houston came running out and took cover under the side table. Silly kitty. Finn was just making her way out as well. I had to go back and get Micah today to bring him to the kitchen. He went to work on his food, while the others sat and drooled. Haha. I didn't see Smudge or Charlie again today.

Murdy

Today Murdy was right at the door talking to me again. I came in and we headed to the kitchen. He took his pill, then I got him some food. He went and sat in the living room this time while I tended to his other things quick. He raced into the office as usual, to show me where his toy was. Murdy was in quite the playful mood today! He was leaping in the air after his feathers and making me laugh. He sat and watched intensely, then would pounce. He had a blast today! Eventually, he worked up his appetite and went to go work on his canned food.

Hudson, Zel & Gabbie

This morning everyone greeted me at the door. We made our way to the back door and they went out to do their thing. Soon, they were back and ready to come in to eat. Hudson was so excited he could barely sit still! Hudson and Gabbie finished first as usual. Gabbie tried sneaking some of Zel's kibbles again, but I caught her trying. Those two went out and Zel came out when she finished. It was windy out this morning, but oh so warm! Since it was so nice outside, all three had fun exploring off in the yard. Eventually it was time to come in. I went to tuck Hudson and Gabbie in and saw that Gabbie had curled up in Hudson's crate with him. Haha! I had to have her come out and go in her own bed. Silly lady!

Murdy

Today Murdy was meowing at me inside while I was opening the door. He followed along to the kitchen as usual. He waited on the counter while I got his food ready. I tried to give him his pill, but he kept getting it and spitting it out on me this morning. Third time was the charm though! He went and snacked on his food as I took care of his other things. When I went to get his toy, he quickly zoomed into the room ahead of me. He swatted the feathers all the way to our spot. Murdy was quite the lovey boy this morning. He came and sat in my lap for some pets and purred away. He even purred the whole time while he was chasing and batting at his toy! Haha! He had a blast.

Micah, Henry, Houston, Charlie, Smudge & Finn

Today Smudge and Charlie were hiding out somewhere again. When I walked in today, I saw the other four hanging out in the living room. Up to mischief, no doubt! Haha. Finn and Houston were sitting on top of the kitty tower together. Finn hopped down as soon as I came in and came running over to say hi. Micah had been sitting just below the kitty tower, and Henry was making his way to come say hi as well. Finn followed me all over this morning while I went looking for the other two. As I checked under the bed, she sat up on it and looked down at me curiously. "Whatcha doing?" After I cleaned and filled dishes, I got Micah his food. Miss Finn was relentless at trying to get at it. Finally, she gave up and sat on the other counter and just watched. As soon as he finished, she was right there though! Micah wasn't quite as interested in his food today, so she and Henry had a little feast.

Bella & Chico

This morning I let the pups out right away. They both ran out to do their business. It was a foggy morning, but not as cold as yesterday. It was quite nice out. Later, Chico was all curled up on the blanket on the couch, taking a little snooze. Miss Bella was busy exploring outside for awhile. She'd come in to get some attention now and then. Chico came over to snuggle on the chair with me and that got Bella all jealous. She settled down once she got her belly rubs. Later on, she ate some breakfast. This afternoon was quite warm out! Both pups spent quite a bit of time out back running around and exploring. This evening, they went out and did their business after I let them out. Bella would come to see me for her pets every few minutes. Chico would come once in awhile too. He eventually stayed and snuggled with me in the chair. Bella had some dinner before bedtime.

Hudson, Zel & Gabbie

This morning some excited pups greeted me at the door. I let them all out for their potty breaks. The girls were first to come in. It was a foggy morning, but much warmer than yesterday. Gabbie had one of her sneezing fits while we waited for Hudson. Haha. Once he came in, it was time to get their breakfast. Everyone ate well. In fact, Gabbie and Hudson were little stinkers and tried to go for Zel's food. I got them to go out so she could finish in peace. After they ate, it was back outside. Hudson was busy on patrol. After a little while, the girls were ready to come in. Miss Zel curled up in her blankie under the tree while Gabbie sat by me for pets. Soon, Gabbie joined her and they were giving each other kisses. So sweet! This evening, the pups announced my arrival. I let them out for their potty break. After everyone ate, they went back out to play. I couldn't see any of them, but could hear them rustling around in the leaves. Hudson and the neighbor dog exchanged words again tonight. The girls both raced over to back him up. I had them all come in a little after that so they weren't being too loud. Hudson made sure to go and lick all the bowls thoroughly, ya know, in case there were any leftovers. Haha. He and Gabbie sat by me for some attention until it was time to go.
