Ginger & Tiger

This evening I came in and Ginger popped up. Tiger was still snoozing. They got up and we went out back for a potty break. After they did their thing, we went in and I got them ready for a walk. It was so nice out! We went for a nice stroll and met some of the neighbors. I think Tiger was a little pooped by the time we got back. Haha! This evening Ginger was already by the gate waiting for me. She must have seen me coming. I let the pups out back for their evening potty break. It was still pretty nice out, so we hung outside for a little bit. Ginger came and stretched out against my leg and begged for her pets. Haha. When we went inside, Ginger got her drops and then they both got treats. They were quite excited to get some rawhide sticks too! They worked on those a bit. I gave them another treat before bed. It's Christmas, so I can spoil them a little. Haha!

Bella & Chico

This morning I could hear little Chico inside announcing my arrival. Haha! I got their food down and opened the door, then went to get the pups. They raced out and went out back for their potty break. It was kind of a chilly start to the morning, so Chico spent most of the time inside. Bella did some exploring, then she came in and worked on breakfast. I wished them a Merry Christmas and gave them each some morning cookies when it was time for bed. This afternoon it turned out to be very nice outside! We all headed out back right away. Chico came in and snacked on some food. The rest of the time the pups were busy exploring. Chico was patrolling the fence since we could hear neighbors outside. Bella was checking the bushes for critters. Haha. When it was time, they came in and got their peanut butter snacks. This evening I put the food up and let the pups out back. It was still very nice out this evening. Bella was outside doing more exploring. Mr. Chico was in and out. I think he was probably hoarding a treat in his bed and had to keep checking on it. Haha!

Hudson, Zel, Gabbie & Blackie

This morning Hudson was the only one to greet me at the door. Everyone else was snoozing! Gabbie was on her way to come say hi once Hudson started getting all excited. Zel was all tucked in her bed. I let those guys out then went to get Blackie from the bedroom. He got up and did some big stretches, then joined the others. They came in and were all doing their happy dance for breakfast. After they ate, they went out back for a little while. It was a chilly start to the morning, so no one really wanted to stay out long. So, they came in and we visited inside again. The girls both burrowed in their bed and took a nap. Blackie wandered down to his room, while Hudson got all the pets to himself! Later I let them out again before it was time to get tucked in their beds. This evening I could hear the pups barking as I was walking up. They knew I was there! I let the little ones out and went to find Blackie. He was awake, but his back end was kind of under the bed. I wasn't sure if he was stuck, so I helped slide him out. He still didn't want to get up. I wasn't sure if he couldn't or was just being his shy self, so I helped him up anyways. He went out back for his potty break. Then, it was time for dinner. It was still very nice out this evening, so they all got to spend plenty of time exploring out back after dinner.

Panda, Nani, Tatty & Boo

This morning I came in and looked around for Tatty quick. I couldn't find her, so I assumed she was under the bed. I let the pups all out of their beds and they started making their way to the door. Except Boo that is! Haha. I had to come back and get her. She was just standing in the dog room, watching me. Then she hopped along and joined the others. They came in and I topped off their waters. Next, I went to leave Tatty some snacks in her spot. This afternoon was a beautiful day outside! I saw Tatty had eaten her snacks after I left. I checked under the bed and there she was. She wasn't ready to come say hi just yet. So I left her a few more snacks. I let the pups out back and they all did their thing. We hung outside a little longer since it was so nice out and they weren't ready to come in just yet! This evening I found Tatty in the same spot, and knew she'd ventured out for her treats again. I let her be and let the pooches out for their potty break. Everyone is doing well.

Shadow

This morning Shadow met me at the door. I wished him a Merry Christmas then we got his breakfast ready. He of course had to come in the pantry to help! I scooped his box while he worked on his food. When I returned, he came to visit me for some pets. He would go snack a little more, then would come back for pets, and back and forth several more times. Haha. Eventually he decided to hop on his kitty tower and gave his face a bath. This evening Shadow was on his way to the kitchen to see me. He brushed up against my legs while I got his dinner for him. He and I sat in the living room for a little bit, then he went back to snack. After that, he went and messed around with his box by the back door. Then, he was Mr. Crazy Kitty! Haha. He zoomed around the living room and raced up to the top of his tower. He attacked his feather toy from up there, then tackled it some more on the couch. He cracks me up!

Bella & Chico

This evening I was surprised to be greeted by Bella at the door! Haha. She was very excited to say hi. I let her outside then went to get Chico. They went out to do their business while I read notes and fed the fishy. Thanks for the gift!! The pups came back inside for some attention time. They took turns getting their heiny scratches. Miss Bella was being kind of sassy tonight! I had to scold her a couple times for getting sassy with Chico. I'm not sure what her deal was. There wasn't even any food down for her to have to share. Maybe she was just anticipating getting dinner? Hmm. Anyways, I kept her occupied with back scratches and that seemed to do the trick. Eventually, it was time for bed and I tucked them in for the night.

Hudson, Zel, Gabbie & Blackie

This evening I came in and Blackie met me in the kitchen. Everyone got all excited for their potty break! I let the little ones out and they all raced to the door. While they were out, I got their dinner ready. Thank you for the gift!! The pups came in and everyone was dancing and wiggling around excitedly! They make me laugh. All the kids ate well. Hudson and the girls finished first and came to get a few pets from me. While Blackie was still finishing up, I let the others go out. It had gotten cool outside, so the girls were huddling up on the step, ready to go in. We all did after a little bit and visited some more inside. Hudson was in my lap, trying to sneak kisses and hog all the attention. Blackie and Gabbie came over for pets too. Miss Zel was all curled up and comfy in her bed by the couch. I let the pups out again once more before bed.

Shadow

This evening I came in and called for Shadow. He came strolling down the hall to greet me in the kitchen. Shadow helped me get his stuff from the pantry, then worked on his dinner while I went to check his box. When I got back, Shadow met me in the living room. He came and sat on my lap for awhile. He purred and enjoyed his pets. He let me know when he'd ha enough and he was ready for playtime! Haha. He wrestled around with his feather toy and was getting spunky. He makes me laugh. After that, he jumped up and ran to the window. He sat there and looked out his window for awhile. I think he was watching for Santa!

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening Oreo came racing down the stairs when I got in. I started turning on lights and was surprised to see Stuffy hanging out in the kitchen, in the dark, just sitting on the counter. Haha! What a goof. I got Oreo his snack and he nibbled on that. I finished with their things and went to load up their treat toy with some goodies. The boys then both joined me in the living room. Oreo pawed and nosed at his toy to get his snacks out. After a little while he snuggled up close to me for his pets and purred away. Stuffy eventually decided to come closer and get all cozy by his fire.

Oscar

This afternoon I met Oscar in the living room. I saw he got his handsome haircut! We made our way out back right away. It was a beautiful day out there! Oscar did a little bit of lounging, then he was up and barking at something. He was racing from one side of the house to the other, so someone must have been out walking. He came back and found himself some mischief! He had gotten a plastic pot from somewhere and was carrying it around. Of course, he wanted to play chase and didn't want to give it up! After I took it away, he and I played some fetch instead. He did good today and actually continued to play for awhile. We chased and he did some doggie leaps to catch his frisbee. He had fun today!
