Shadow & Lucy

Today I came in and started getting food ready for the kitties. After I had set the canned food down, then Shadow emerged. He worked on his food while I went to take care of their box. Miss Lucy was up on her perch in the closet, meowing at me through the crack in the door again. Haha! I went out to the living room and Shadow came over for a few pets. He hopped up on the table by the treats and let me know he was ready for some snacks. I tossed him several to work on. After that, he went to the front room to sit in the window and look outside. Miss Lucy came out to see me after awhile and was ready to play. She was being her silly self, rolling around with her rope toy.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

This morning I let Zoie out to do her thing right away. She came in shortly after and I let Sadie out and followed Cole out back. Cole seemed to be in better spirits this morning and was a bouncy boy on the way to the door. He went out and was able to go slightly better than yesterday. He was still having to strain though. Poor bub. He did his thing and we went in so I could feed everyone their breakfast. The girls ate well for me, but Cole still wasn't up for it yet. This afternoon I went and got a can of food for him before I came by. The girls and Cole all went out back this afternoon since the rain hadn't arrived yet. Cole didn't have any accidents in the kitchen while I was gone, so that was an improvement! He was excited to get outside again. He was about the same as this morning as far as ease and ability to go. He relaxed in the grass with the girls until it was time to head in. I tried to see if he wanted to eat for me this afternoon, but he still wasn't having it. Hopefully tonight! This evening I came in and let the girls out front to do their thing since it was raining. Cole and I headed out back. He was still straining, but he still didn't have any accidents during the day, so he's still doing better than he was. I took care of the girls quick, then came back to feed the pups their dinners. Cole wasn't interested in his dry food yet tonight. I put just a tiny bit of canned food in there for him and that did the trick! Yay! He went ahead and ate about half his dry food for me. He stopped after that, so I added some more canned to it in hopes that he'd eat more for me after I left. The girls both ate well for me.

Bella & Chico

This afternoon I heard little Chico calling for me when I came in. Haha! I let them out and we headed outside while they did their business. The pups both came over to say hi for a bit. Miss Bella was busy checking out the bushes after that. Chico went in to work on some lunch. Bella found some sort of critter in the bushes and got all excited. Chico came racing out to help her look! Haha. I never saw what they were after but I had to make Chico go inside since he was a little too determined and was trying to dig. He calmed down after awhile and they both explore outside until it was time to head in. I got them both some peanut butter snacks before I left. This evening it was still quite nice out. It had rained a little bit earlier but stopped already before I got there. The pups both worked on some dinner and explored out back until the rain started in again. It was time for bed anyways.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

Well we had an eventful start to our morning. I let Zoie out for her potty break and went to get Cole next. He hadn't eaten his dinner overnight, so I knew something was up. I followed him outside to make sure he his bowel movements were looking normal. I noticed right away that he had some urinary issues. I went in to let Sadie have her turn and checked on the girls quick while I called the vet. I took Cole and dropped him off. This afternoon I picked him up with his medicine. We got him all checked out. All three pups got to spend some time out back enjoying the nice afternoon. Hopefully poor Cole will feel better soon. While they were out doing their thing, I moved Cole's bed to the kitchen. This evening I let the pups out back to do their business. I tucked the girls in bed, then came back and cleaned up the kitchen a bit. When it was time, the pups came in for dinner. Cole still wasn't feeling up to eating just yet, but hopefully he will overnight.

Shadow & Lucy

Today Shadow was right there in the kitchen to greet me today. He waited patiently, brushing up against the cabinets as he waited for his yummy snack. I filled up their dry food and water, then went to scoop their box. I heard Lucy in the closet meowing at me. She kept looking at me through the crack of the door! Haha. She didn't want to come out to see me just yet though. Back in the living room, Shadow was now sitting by the front door. He came over for a couple pets. He let me know when he'd had enough. Haha. I tossed him a few treats, then he went back to his window watching. Miss Lucy eventually came out and played for awhile. She was having fun being silly and flailing around, trying to catch the rope toy. She made me laugh.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

This morning we did our usual routine. Zoie went out front to go do her business while I got her food and water. I gave Cole his pill, then it was time for the other two to go out. It was a warmer morning, so Cole hung outside for a little bit before he came in for breakfast. Sadie ate well for me this morning. Cole and Zoie weren't interested at the time. Zoie just wanted to play with her toys. Everyone went out for another potty break after breakfast time. This afternoon was another gorgeous day outside! All three pups went out back to soak up some sun. Sadie went out to the grass and laid flat on her side. She was just a lump in the yard the whole time. Haha! Cole was sprawled out in the grass too. Miss Zoie was having fun exploring all over the place. Cole didn't even want to come in when it was time! This evening I let the kids play out back for a little bit, while I went and tucked the girls into bed. Sadie saw me coming back and was being silly in the dark. Everyone came inside and I fed them all their dinners. Sadie wanted to go out front for awhile after she finished eating.

Today I came in and Shadow came around the corner and into the kitchen to say hi. Or rather, he was lining up, ready for his canned food! He knew what I was there for. Haha! Lucy eventually came out as well, while I filled their other dishes. Shadow went to work on his snack. I scooped their box quick, then went to go visit with them. Lucy got up and went to the bedroom to go sit in the window. Shadow sat by the front door and looked outside for awhile. I got out his jar of kitty crack and he quickly came to get some treats. I found their rope toy and tried to get him to play, but he just wanted to sit by the door today. That's ok! Maybe tomorrow they will want to play more.

Oscar

This afternoon Oscar met me in the living room again. He came prancing over to get his hello heiny scratches. Then, we made our way outside. He had another nice afternoon to enjoy! Oscar and his neighbor friends got all excited about someone walking by with their dog. Oscar ran from one side of the yard to the other to keep an eye on things. Later, he and I got a few throws in of his frisbee and he had me chasing him around. Haha! When it was time, we headed in and he did some tricks for me for his snack.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

This morning the grass was just a tiny bit wet, but nothing compared to earlier in the week. The days are starting out much warmer. I let Zoie out front for her first potty break. She came in shortly after, so I went to get Sadie and Cole. Cole got his medicine, then he and I headed out back. He didn't take too long before he was ready to head in. I checked on the girls, then came back and fed everyone their breakfast. I sat with Zoie, but she was more interested in playing some fetch this morning. After the pups all ate, they went out for a last quick potty break. This afternoon it was so nice out! I let the kiddos out back right away. They got to spend the whole time playing out there. I visited with the girls, but was able to keep an eye on these guys as well. Sadie got nice and grassy as she went for her afternoon roll in it. Haha. Zoie had brought her toys out again, so those two messed around trying to steal them from each other. Cole found a cozy spot to sprawl out and get some sun. This evening the pups went out back to romp some more. It was still nice and warm out. Sadie was goofing around in the dark, daring me to come and get her. When it was time, we headed in for dinner. I stayed with Zoie first, and she enjoyed the company and ate all her dinner for me. After that, Sadie and Cole got some pets before bedtime.

Oscar

This afternoon Oscar met me in the living room, being his happy bouncy self. I said hi and gave him a few heiny scratches before we headed out back. It was another really nice afternoon out there! Pretty nice for December weather. Oscar was busy roaming around and checking things out today. He laid down to relax for a few minutes, but then had to get up and run over to try and get his squirrel! There were a couple messing around out there today, so Oscar had some entertainment. He let me know when it was time to head in for his snack.
