Hudson, Zel, Gabbie & Blackie

This morning it was pretty chilly out. I was greeted by all the pups at the door. They all raced to the back to go outside and do their thing. Hudson found something interesting in the yard, so he didn't come right back in like the others this morning. So, they all ate while we waited for him. He was ready by the time I let them back out again. The girls didn't appreciate the cold, so they waited by the door until it was time to head in. Zel eventually decided to go explore a little bit before that. When they came in, Zel hopped right in her bed to warm up a little. Haha! Blackie wandered off down the hall to go back to bed. This evening Blackie met me at the door. I let the little ones out and we all headed outside. I took the trash out to the street, so when I was coming back in the dark, Gabbie did her job and barked. Haha. The pups all came in and ate their dinners for me, then it was back out to play. It was much nicer out tonight and not so chilly! All four were busy exploring in the dark. Hudson was barking quite a bit and I realized he'd found a frog! He kept trying to pick it up, and discovered how tasty they are.... or not. Haha! He was foaming for a little bit, but still kept pestering the frog. When it was time to head in, Zel hopped right in her bed again. Blackie ventured down the hall, and Hudson worked on checking all the bowls for hopes of any leftovers.

Noell

This morning Noell came in through her kitty door, just as I was getting to the living room. She meowed good morning to me and started making her way down the hall. We got her breakfast and she nibbled on that a bit. By the time I got her box opened and ready to scoop, she decided she needed to go. Haha! I waited for her to do her thing, then finished my job. She met me in the living room and I got down her fishy for her. She chased that one around for awhile. Then, I grabbed the big mouse one to play with too. She kept running to her hiding spot behind the table and couch, so she could sneak up on it. Haha!

It was a cool start to the day today. I arrived and saw the girls were both relaxing in the grass at the front of the house. They loved the cooler weather! It wasn't supposed to stay very cool for too long though. The girls came in and waited while I got their food for them. They hopped up on the couch and snuggled up with me for awhile. After lots of face rubs on my arm and sneaking kisses, the girls laid down on either side of me and took a little snooze. Later on, Sophie was up and wandering around the house. I think she was looking for her people! After she made a couple laps, she went to go snack on her food. Roxy went to join her for awhile. The girls returned to get more pets and belly rubs until it was time to head back outside.

Oscar

This afternoon Oscar was right at the door to greet me, tail wagging happily. I gave him a few pets hello, then we made our way outside. Oscar found a spot in the grass to relax and sunbathe for awhile. He had fun rolling around a bit too. The neighbor pups were outside today, so Oscar sat and watched them. As we watched them play, we saw them chase a squirrel up a tree in their yard! That had Oscar very interested. He kept an eye out just in case he needed to do some chasing too. Haha! When it was about time, Oscar barked to let me know he was ready to head in. He did a few tricks for me to get his treat after I topped off his water bowl.

Today the girls were both lounging out in the grass in the backyard, soaking up some sunshine. It was a beautiful day! The girls heard me open the door and they came running. They came in and waited for me on the couch while I got their food ready. I sat with them and we said our hellos. They made sure to get lots of snuggles and kisses in! Not long after that, Sophie and Roxy decided they were hungry. They both went to go snack on their food a bit. Roxy went and laid on the bed for awhile after that. Sophie came to snuggle up with me some more. Roxy joined us again for a little while, then she hopped in her chair.

This morning everyone was at the door, ready to say hi. I let them all out for a quick potty break. They all came racing back inside, ready to eat. As I got their breakfast ready, I realized Blackie had disappeared somewhere. I fed the others and grabbed his bowl, in case he needed to eat in the bedroom. I found him and saw that he'd thrown up. Poor guy! I cleaned that up and he followed me back out to the living room. He ate his breakfast like a good boy, and didn't seem to have any more tummy issues after that. Zel and Blackie were the last to finish, so I let Gabbie and Hudson back out to play. When the others finished, we joined them out back. This evening Blackie met me at the door. He followed me to let the others out of their beds. They all ran out and quickly did their thing, then returned to get ready for dinner. Gabbie and Hudson waited inside with me, while Zel and Hudson finished their dinner. Gabbie was testing my knowledge of the couch rule tonight! She kept trying to jump up, so I kept making her get down. She's a quick one! Haha. After the other two were done, we all went out to enjoy the beautiful evening. It was dark, so I couldn't see what any of them were up to. Haha. Gabbie was at the gate, barking like crazy at something. I tried, but it was too dark to see what she was worked up about. Hudson even came to join her after awhile. I wonder what it was that they saw? Haha. Soon, we headed back inside for bed.

This morning everybody was at the door to see me. They all scrambled excitedly to the back door. Everyone quickly went onto the grass as far as need be to do their business, then were right back at the door. Time to eat! All the pups ate well again for me this morning. After that, we headed back outside for them to play. It was nice and warm out this morning, so everyone was off exploring and checking things out. This evening it was still nice and warm outside. I let the little ones out of their beds, then they led the way to the door. They were all quite excited for dinner tonight. Blackie was galloping around happily again. He got a little too excited and almost wiped out! I let the kiddos back outside one by one, as they each finished their food. Hudson was off at the far end of the yard as usual, patrolling. Gabbie and Blackie were sniffing around, but hung out near to the patio. Miss Zel disappeared into the dark somewhere, so she must have been on a good scent trail. Soon, it was time to head in for bedtime.

This morning the girls were both laying on the patio by the front gate. They saw me pull up and both started bouncing up and down at the gate, ready to see me. The girls were waiting at the back door by the time I got there. They came in and we sat on the couch, then they monkey piled on me to say hi. Haha! They crack me up. Roxy was keeping an eye out on the walls and ceiling today for any mysterious red dots. She ventured off to go relax on the bed for awhile. Sophie sat with me, enjoying her pets as usual. Roxy returned and was climbing all over Sophie trying to get my attention too. Silly girl! She kept pawing at me for more pets. When it was time, I got the girls each a cookie as they went back out to enjoy this beautiful day!

Daisy & Sophie

Today Sophie was on her way to come greet me again today when I got inside. She followed me to the kitchen. Then, she hopped up on the counter and picked out what flavor of food was going to be hers. Haha! Daisy worked on her dinner while I scooped boxes and fed the fish. After that, Sophie was just lounging on the floor  in the kitchen, waiting for me to come play. I got her feather toy down and she had a blast wrestling around with that. She even tried to carry it off once! Haha.

Shadow & Lucy

Today I came in and both kitties were in the living room. Lucy was quite the talker today! She kept meowing at me. Haha. I took care of their box quick, then went to the living room to spend some time with them. Shadow hopped up on the table and reminded me that his kitty crack was still in the same place. Haha! Lucy and I played with their rope toy and kitty tunnel for awhile. Shadow was waiting patiently for me to get his yummy canned food out for him. So, we took a break from playing and I got that out. He ate, while Lucy and I played a bit more. Shadow ventured off to his front room to look out the window. Before I left, I got out some of his treats. He heard the jar and promptly came running! Haha!
