Noell

It was unusually quiet and felt a little weird today. I came in and Noell was her happy little self, waiting by the train table for me. When she saw me coming, she quickly hopped up and led the way to her room. I picked up a few things, then got her her breakfast. She had finished all her wet food from last night, so she must be getting used to the new stuff. She actually chowed down quite a bit on her breakfast too. After she had enough, she followed me to the living room for some play time. We had a blast with her fish and her laser light. She would wander over now and again for some pets too.

Oscar

This afternoon I came in and found Oscar just lounging on the couch. It wasn't until I called his name that he hopped up, stretched and came trotting over. We headed out back and he quickly found a spot to plop down in the grass. It was actually pretty comfortable out today and not so hot! I tried to get him to play with me since it was a bit cooler out. I tried his ball and his frisbee. He wasn't budging! Haha. He just wanted to be a lazy dog today I guess. After awhile he moved to the side where he could watch the neighbor dogs. They came running out and were all excited about something! Oscar just laid there and watched.

Winston

This afternoon I let Winston out of his room and got him ready for our walk. It was a nice little break from the heat today! We had a little bit of sprinkling going on, but that helped make it more comfortable. Winston wandered around and found his spot to do his business. After that, we took advantage of the cooler day and got a longer walk in. When we got back home, I took his harness off and Winston zoomed off. He had gone behind the couch to to work on his leftover rawhide! I let him chew on that for awhile until it was time to go back to his room.

This afternoon Winston did his big stretch while he waited for me to open his gate. He got his harness on, then we headed outside. He put his sniffer to work right away! Haha. We made out way out to the grass and he did his business. It wasn't too bad out today, so we wandered around awhile after that. Winston led me to each tree and his favorite tall grassy area so he could sniff around and check things out. Later on, we headed back in to cool off. As soon as Winston got his harness off, he raced over to his toys and grabbed one for us to play with. We got a good game of tug going until it was time for his treat.

This morning I let Billy and Quinney outside. I changed Quin's bedding and got the pups their breakfast. I fed Oreo and the hamster. Then, the pups came back inside to eat. Quin only ate half of his breakfast, even with the canned added. Billy licked her bowl clean. While they were busy working on that, I took Roxie out back for her turn to go potty. She roamed around and checked things out. Roxie found a stick that she was having a blast prancing around with. Haha! Soon I brought her back in and let the big pups out again. I went in to see the kitties. Chili was on her way to go hide under the bed. Salt and Pepper were both out and came up to me for a few pets. I sat and pet them for a little while until it was time to let the pups back in. Billy kept checking on me through the windows. Haha!

This morning Billy and Quinney went out for their potty break while I cleaned up and got their breakfast. They came in and both ate well, since I added some canned to both their bowls. After they finished, they went back outside for awhile. I got Oreo her breakfast, then checked on the hamster. She woke up and started traveling down her tube to come eat as well. Or to get her treats! Haha. I checked on the kitties and saw Chili by the side of the bed again. She ventured under to hide from me. Pepper was sleeping on the top of the kitty tower and came down to see me. I gave her and Salt some pets, then it was time to go visit the pups. Billy came running over happily, ready for her heiny scratches. When it was time, we went in and I got them back in their beds. This evening the pups had already had their dinners. I got Billy some fresh water and let them out back for a bit. Oreo got the last of her lettuce and her carrots. The hamster still had plenty of food and water for tonight. Salt helped me scoop boxes, then she and Pepper got a little attention. I went to let Billy and Quinney back inside. I took Roxie out for her little potty break before bedtime. When I went to go turn the water off for the kitties, Chili was on her way out from the bathroom. Everyone is all tucked in for the evening.

Oscar

This afternoon the lawn guy was just leaving as I arrived. Since I didn't know if Oscar should be on the grass or not, I let him out to pee real quick, then we went right back inside. We had fun playing indoors today instead. It was trying to storm out there at the moment anyways. Oscar went and grabbed his octopus toy and we got a good game of tug going. He won most of the time! Haha. We got to play a little fetch too. Before I left, I let him out for one more quick potty break.

This morning I let the pups out while I cleaned up Quin's bed and got their breakfast ready. I put half a can of food in with his and he ate well. Billy had eaten her dinner overnight. She didn't eat her breakfast when they went in, but she's been eating well after I leave. I got Oreo and the Hamster their breakfast, then went in to see the kitties. Salt came out first for some pets. I went out back to get the pups some water and visit with Billy for a little while. Quin was busy wandering around. Billy just sat and pawed at me to keep petting her. I went back in to see Pepper, since she was ready and waiting for her turn. Chili was sitting just under the end of the bed, watching curiously. This evening I came in and let the pups out back. I got Quin a new blanket and got their dinners ready. Billy had eaten her breakfast like a good girl. They came racing back in to eat. Quinney ate with his canned food mixed in. Billy decided to wait to eat hers later. Meanwhile, I went to turn on the faucet for the kitties and feed everyone else quick. I let Quin and Billy back out of their beds to head back out. Billy decided she was going to play keep away instead! Haha. She didn't want to go out, so she raced around the kitchen and went back in her room. It took a little coaxing, but then she followed me out back. Silly lady! I sat out there with her and gave her pets. Soon, it was time for me to go in and visit the kitties too. Salt and Pepper both came out for their attention. Chili was sitting out by by the side of the bed tonight. I went over to go pet her, but she quickly went under the bed to hide. Pepper was in play mode tonight so we had fun with their string for awhile. When it was time, I brought the pups in and tucked them in for bedtime.

This morning I let the pups outside for their potty break. Billy was quite the ball of energy! I got their breakfast ready then let them back in to eat. While they were busy, I checked on the crabs, hamster and Oreo. When I returned, I saw neither pup had eaten. Maybe later! I turned the faucet on and stopped to say hi to the kitties, then went out back with the pups. Quinney got a drink from the spigot while I filled up their water dishes out back. Billy was running and bouncing circles around me. We went back to the patio and she sat by me to get her attention. After awhile, she ventured off to see what Quin was up to. I went back in to see the kitties for a few minutes. Chili was heading back under the bed after getting a drink from the faucet. I reached under and she got some chin rubs. Then, she got comfy in her little hammock. Salt played with the string a bit, while Pepper watched. This evening, I worked on adding some canned food to Quin's bowl while they were outside. Billy had eaten all her breakfast, so I didn't add anything to hers. Oddly enough, she's the one that's been eating great! I really think he just doesn't like the new food. He is acting just fine when he's playing out back! They came in and he ate all his dinner for me. I let them back out while I took care of the others. Oreo got working on her carrots. The hamster woke up and traveled down the tube to come get her treats! Pepper came out and snuggled up to me for the rest of the time, purring away and enjoying all her pets.

Oscar

This afternoon I called for Oscar as I came in. He was in the process of hopping off the couch, then he came running to see me! He looks so handsome with his fresh haircut! Oscar got his heiny scratches, then we headed out back. He was a busy boy this afternoon. He ran from side to side, checking out everything and investigating any noises he heard. After awhile, he laid in the grass to relax a bit. While we were sitting there, I heard a plop sound like something fell off the roof. I looked down, and sure enough! There was a little tree frog! He was gray to try and blend in with the patio stones. I moved him to the grass since they were pretty hot in the sun there. Oscar did some more exploring around the yard before we headed in to cool off.
