Susie & Frank Fritz

This morning I walked outside and both pups came from around the side of the house to see me. I saw someone had unplugged the fan overnight, but at least it was still in it's spot. I sat outside with them for a minute to say hi, then we went inside. I got them each a treat to work on before I left. This evening, Frank was first to greet me at the door. The pups were so excited and were zooming around the house. We all went back outside. Frank went and got in his house while I gathered up their bowls. He came in with me again tonight to get their dinner. Susie was in Frank's house when we came back out and he got right in there with her. Haha! She quickly got out and went in the other one. They ate dinner and I got them some fresh water. After they ate, they were both busy exploring about the yard. Frank came and checked on me a couple times, then they both came over before I left.

Murdy & Charlie

Today Murdy was on his way down the stairs to see me when I got there. He sat and waited for me in the living room, while I took care of their things. He was a lovey boy again today and got lots of pets and chin rubs. I laid on the floor by him and he kept head butting me. So cute! Then, he'd walk down alongside me, brushing up against me the whole way. Haha. Charlie was sitting upstairs again, being anti-social. I went up there to go see him for a couple minutes. He didn't appreciate that and actually hissed at me! Not sure what the heck is up with him. Haha. I wonder if he is mad because I was around other kitties the last few days. Anyways, I went back down by Murdy and he and I had some play time. He chased and stalked his feather and mouse toys. He'd also do the "I'm just casually sitting here grooming my face"... then pounce! Haha.

Oscar

Today Oscar met me at the door and was his bouncy, happy self. We made our way out back and he went to sprawl out on the grass. We weren't out very long today when he decided it was time to go in and cool off. We played a little fetch and a game of tug with his toys. Once he was cooled down enough, we went back outside again for awhile. This time, he went and got some sunbathing in, then rolled around in the grass.

Bella & Chico

It was a nice morning for the pups to go out and explore a bit. We all sat out back and they did their thing. Chico was on fence patrol this morning. He was zooming back and forth and back and forth! Bella joined in a couple times, but she was more interested in checking out what was in the bushes. This afternoon it was hot out again. Miss Bella went out and sprawled across her belly in the grass. She sunbathed a little while. Chico was in and out. He preferred to be in the cool house by me. Haha! Bella eventually got too hot out there and came in to join us. When it was time, I got them their peanut butter snacks. This evening we all hung outside again. A bird landed on the fence while we were out there, so that had Bella racing after it. The pups were both busy looking for critters in bushes, under the patio, and through the fence. I brought their bowl of food out with us tonight and they polished that clean!

Murdy & Charlie

Today Murdy and Charlie were both at the bottom of the stairs when I came in. Charlie said hi, then Murdy followed along with me to the kitchen. I got their things taken care of quick. Charlie had already returned to his couch upstairs. Murdy was waiting for me in the living room. I saw Charlie was keeping an eye on things from his perch up there again. I guess he didn't want to visit today. Murdy seems to like playing more though, when Charlie isn't hogging the toys! Haha. Murdy got some chin rub time in. Then, he was in play mode. It was fun to watch him wiggle and pounce on the mouse! He was jumping and having a blast today. Charlie was a little party pooper and stayed upstairs. Maybe he'll come see me tomorrow!

Susie & Frank Fritz

The fan survived overnight! Yay! Haha. I opened the door and went out to say hi to the pups. It was supposed to be another very hot afternoon, so I brought them inside. This evening, I returned and all was well inside the house. They've been very good so far! We all headed out back and I collected their bowls. Frank came back inside with me to help me get dinner ready. While they ate, I got them a fresh bowl of cool water for outside. After dinner, Susie came to visit me for some pets. Frank was off exploring. He returned with an awfully muddy nose! He made sure to share with me. Haha! He ran off again so I followed to see what he was up to. I caught him trying to dig to China! Naughty... good thing he's so cute!

Bella & Chico

This morning the pups ran outside to go play for awhile. Miss Bella was at my side, wanting attention at first. Once she had enough pets, she ventured off to go explore and watch for her birds. Chico was in and out, snacking on some food. He later came to sit by me for his turn. This afternoon it was another super hot day. The pups don't seem to mind, since they get to play and then go cool down in the house. They were in and out having fun. Bella made sure to keep checking on me, and of course, to get her heiny scratches. They got their peanut butter snacks when it was time to go in. This evening, Bella and Chico zoomed outside once I opened their doors. They each took time to come sit by me. Otherwise, they were busy exploring. Bella was checking out the bushes for something. "Hmmm... what's in here?" Then, Chico was trying to peek under the deck. Soon, it was time to round them up and tuck them in bed for the night.

Oscar

This afternoon there was no Oscar at the door to see me! I walked in and found him lounging on the couch. Haha! He hopped up when he saw me and came over for his heiny scratches. We went outside and he got right to some exploring. It didn't take long in this heat before he decided to lay down and relax. It wasn't quite as hot out today as it was yesterday. So, Oscar didn't mind staying out the whole time today. When it was time to go in, I got him a fresh bowl of cool water and his favorite snack.

Murdy & Charlie

Today I came in and Murdy followed me to the kitchen. He hopped up to his spot to say hi, then waited for me to take care of their things. Charlie didn't come down to see me again at first. He must be bored with me! Haha! When I was done with their room, I found Murdy sitting in the living room waiting for me. He was quite the lovey boy today! He rolled around and made sure I got all his itchy chin spots. I saw Charlie's ears peering over the back of the couch upstairs. He was keeping an eye on me. Murdy and I started to play a bit, then Charlie decided to come down and check things out. Charlie got some pets in as well.

Oscar

Today Oscar met me at the door, with tail wagging happily! I gave him his hello scritches and we made our way to the back. It sure was toasty out today! Oscar came over for some more pets before going to find a spot to lounge. He was having a blast rolling around out in the grass today! Haha. He moved to another spot after awhile so he could keep an eye on the neighborhood. We went in early today since it was so hot out. I grabbed Oscar's lobster and we got some playtime inside before treat time.
