Susie & Frank Fritz

This evening I came in and read mom's note quick. I opened the door and saw Susie lounging on the patio in front of the fan. Frank came running up from a shady spot on the patio by the patio set. They came in tonight while I got their dinner ready for them. We headed back out and they ate quick. Both pups sat by me for some attention when they were done. I decided to bring them in for the rest of the day, since they both were panting pretty good. They were happy to come into the cool house. Susie got comfy and Frank followed me around while I Frank-proofed the house. Hopefully I got everything that he may have thought to get into. We will see in the morning.  :) Before I left, they each got a rawhide snack.

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening I walked in and saw Oreo racing down the stairs out of the corner of my eye. He was already waiting for me in the kitchen. Either he was happy to see me, or he was hungry.... or maybe a little of both. :) Haha! He got right to work on a fresh portion of kitty food. I peeked in the bedroom quick for Stuffs, but he wasn't in there tonight. I cleaned their box, then saw Oreo was waiting for me by the entry of the living area. He and I went to our spot. Oreo snuggled up next to me for his pets. Shortly after, Stuffy made his way downstairs to visit me too. Both boys got their attention time. Oreo would tilt his head back to look at me to make sure I was still petting him. Haha! Oreo wandered off after awhile. Stuffy stayed a little longer, but then he ventured off too.

Cate, Bella & Mio

This morning Cate was sleeping soundly when I came in. She hopped right up when she heard me. We went outside right away. The rain had finally stopped today. Yay! We waited out there for awhile so she could do her business. But, she just stared at me and wanted back in. We went in and played a little. I let miss Bella back out to enjoy the outdoors. She helped me water the plants this morning too. This evening, Bella met me out front for a couple pets. Cate was sleeping soundly again. I woke her up to go out. She pranced around and wanted her pets. After we spent some time out back, we came in and got her dinner. She ate while I spent some time with Mio. I saw Bella out the door, lounging on the patio. Cate went out for another potty break, with no luck again.

Gracie, Molly, Emma & the kitties

This afternoon I opened the door and saw Gracie right away. She didn't waste a second and came racing over to say hi! Yay! I let her out quick for a potty break. She came in and I worked on letting the other girlies outside. It took a little coaxing from Emma and I, then Molly got up and went out. Later, I saw she was busy having fun rolling around in the grass! Back inside, Gracie found her fishy toy and we played with that. She's so silly.  I'd toss it for her and she'd run the other way looking for it, and even ran right by it once! Haha. She and I went out back for a little while when the other two came back in. This evening, Gracie was racing around the house excitedly. She went out for her first potty break, while I got dinner ready. Emma and Gracie both ate well. Miss Molly on the other hand, not so much. We tried. Later, it was time for the two older gals to to play out back. Gracie and I had fun with her toy again. She enjoyed lots of heiny scratches too. When Molly and Emma came back in, Gracie got a little time out back.

This evening Oreo came out to the kitchen to see me. He waited patiently for his snack. Stuffy was lounging on the bed  again. After I took care of their other things, I stopped in by him to visit. Stuffy enjoyed some pets. Eventually, Oreo wandered in to join us. So, the boys both got their attention time. Oreo sat at my feet and purred away while he got his chin scratches. Oreo ventured off again when he wanted to go snack some more. Stuffy didn't move an inch! Haha.

Cate, Bella & Mio

This morning it had been storming out. The rain was still coming down when I got to the house. I let miss Cate out back but she kept close to the door, wanting to head back in. Miss Bella wanted back inside too, so I tucked her in her crate. Cate gave me her little scare this morning with the shaking, so I tried to calm her and kept a close eye on her. I pet her awhile, then she eventually stopped. Everything else was normal. She was still her happy self! Once the shaking stopped, she started to chew on her bone. I held Mio after I got the other two some food and water. Cate was having a blast shuffling and chasing her bone in circles around the room! Haha. This evening, it was still raining out. Miss Cate didn't want to do her business for me, so we went in and I got her dinner. I got her some cheese as well. She enjoyed that! Bella and Mio got their attention while she ate. I took Cate out once more, but still didn't have any luck.

Oreo & Stuffs

Today I came by a little earlier than usual. We were getting downpours, which was causing flooding on a lot of the roads again. I had to take a couple detours on the way, so I wanted to make sure I could get there. I got to the kitchen to get their dinner ready. Oreo came in and meowed at me, then rubbed against my leg to say hi. He started in on his food while I checked their other things. I saw Stuffy was lounging on the bed. So, I stopped to visit him a little bit. Oreo was waiting for me to return. He came and snuggled up to me in our spot. He purred away and enjoyed his pamper session. Haha!

Winston

This afternoon the rain was coming down hard. Luckily, it was letting up just in time! As soon as I pulled up it had let up to just a sprinkle. By the time I went in and got Winston ready, the rain was done. Yay! He and I got to stay out almost the whole visit to wander around. Winston led the way and we got to have fun in the puddles. Haha! He had quite the wet belly, just from being so close to the ground. We saw the pond was very very full. By the time it was getting close to head in anyways, the rain was picking back up. We went in and got a little play time with his toys.

Oscar

Today Oscar met me at the door, heiny wiggling away. He walked next to me to the back, enjoying his pets along the way. We went out back and he came over for a few more heiny scratches before he wandered off. We had a break in the rain, so he explored for a few minutes. Then, Oscar found a spot on the patio to lounge a bit. Soon the rain started coming down hard, so we headed inside. I got him some fresh water, then his yummy snack!

Cate, Bella & Mio

This morning Mother Nature was watering all the plants again for me. I went in to see Cate and she was snoozing away. She woke up and came outside with me. Cate didn't want to be out in the rain, so she was trying to huddle herself up as much as possible on the door stoop. Haha! It was kind of funny to watch. Since she wasn't having any of that wet grass business, we headed inside. I kept Bella in again since we were still under a flash flood watch. I got Bella and Mio some fresh food and water and gave them a little attention. Cate kept busy by chewing on her bone. After that, Cate and I had some playtime with her toys. This evening, the rain had stopped and it sounded like we wouldn't have much more. So, Cate and I went out right away for her potty break. While she worked on her dinner, I let miss Bella back outside. She sat on the fence and enjoyed the cool evening air. Next, I cleaned out Mio's cage. He sure likes to dig and make a mess of his fresh litter! Haha. I held him for awhile until Cate was done. She and I went back out again before bed.
