Tux, Molly & Panda

This afternoon the pups barked like crazy when they heard me in the garage. They were all lined up at the door to see who was here! I had them all come outside to play for awhile. I got the two toys down and we got a game of fetch going. Of course, Panda had to hang onto Tux's favorite for most of the time. Haha! He would eventually settle and go get the other one that I'd throw for him. At one point, she stole both of them! She's so funny. Miss Molly went and relaxed in the shade while we played. Later on, she came over by me in the shade and wanted her attention time. When it was time to go in, miss Panda didn't want to, because she didn't want to give up her toy. She thought I was going to take it away, so she just stood outside the door. It took some coaxing, then finally she wandered in. Haha! This evening, the pups all came outside to do their business and get some playtime. Tux and Panda had fun playing fetch (or keep away). Haha! Molly was off exploring around the yard and watching the neighbor outside. We played a long game, then went in for bedtime. Tux got his medicine and they all got their cookies.

Oscar

This afternoon Oscar was making his way down the hall to see me. He did his happy little dance while I gave him his heiny scratches. We went out back to enjoy the afternoon. It was pretty toasty out there today, so Oscar only wanted to lounge. He did spend a good amount of time exploring about the yard though. I went and got him a fresh bowl of cool water in case he got thirsty. He moved around from sunny to shady spots to relax. Oscar had some fun rolling around in the grass for awhile too! Eventually, it was time to head inside and get his snacks.

Hunter & Riley

This evening both pups were right at the door to see who was here. Hunter started in right away, telling me he was ready to play fetch! I let them outside quick while I read mom's note. I went out to join them afterwards. Hunter barked at me to play, so I told him he had to find his toy for me. We went in and he ran and stood by the pile of them. Haha! I grabbed his frisbee and we went out and got a few throws in. When I told him "all done" he laid down and started chewing on it. We put that inside and he grabbed his blue ball to take out instead. Later on, we came in and I sat in the kitchen with them to try and get them to eat. Neither was interested at the moment, so maybe after I leave. They did really well last time!

Oscar

This afternoon Oscar was right at the door to see me again. We said hi, then he pranced along next to me to the back door. After we got outside, Oscar came running over to me for some more heiny scratches. Then, he went and did his business. He found a nice spot in the grass to relax and do some sunbathing. I grabbed his frisbee and he looked interested. I tossed it, then he just watched it float to the ground. I tried teasing him a little with it and he did take it from me. Then he ran away like he wanted to play chase. Except, he went and just laid down. Haha! Oh well. Oscar spent some time lounging in the shade today, then let me know he wanted to head back in. Since we had a little time left, we ended up playing with his octopus inside.

Quinney, Billy & the gang

This morning I came in and saw that Quinney had done well overnight. I let them out right away and hung outside with them for a little bit. I saw Billy hadn't eaten her dinner from last night, so I added a little canned food to her breakfast. I let the pups in and they both ate well. They went back out to play while I checked on everyone else. I opened the new bag of food for Oreo and got her a little timothy hay snack as well. Then, I went to see the kitties. I had the faucet going for them and opened their blinds. Pepper came and got her attention. Salt wandered out and wanted to play. So, I had those two chasing their string around. Chili came out to play for awhile as well. Later on, she got a drink from the faucet. The pups got some extra time to play out back this morning, just so Quinney would have extra time to potty if he needed to. This evening, Quinney still had done well. His stools aren't back to normal yet, but they're improving. I think we'll lay off the bedtime snacks for the remainder of the time. :) He and Billy came in and ate their dinners quick. They went back out while I took care of the other kiddos. Oreo got her carrots and lettuce snack, along with some pets. Pepper was waiting for me in their room. I sat and played with them for awhile. Pepper was just having a blast up on the bed, while I tossed the string up to her. She'd pounce and hop around to get the string. Chili came out and sat under the chair to paw at the opposite end. After awhile, I went outside to hang out with the pups until it was time for bed.

Oscar

This afternoon Oscar came and met me at the door. I said hi, then he led me to the back. Oscar went and found a spot in the grass to lounge and get some sunbathing in. It was a beautiful afternoon! The cows were hanging out by the fence today, so he had to go check that out. I tried to get him to play with me, but he just wanted to relax and enjoy the weather today. After awhile, he moved into the shade on the patio. When it was time, we went in and he got his treat.

This morning I let the pups out right away. They both had finished their food overnight. I got their breakfast ready while they were out back. Billy and Quin came inside and I put them in their beds to eat. Quinney started crying to go back out again. Neither had worked on their breakfast, but I let them out to play for awhile. I checked on the crabs and they still had plenty of food and water. Oreo got some breakfast, then I went to see the kitties. Salt and Pepper both came out to see me right away. I opened their windows and turned on the faucet for them. Then, I sat on the floor with them to give them some attention. I got those two busy playing and chasing their string around. Since they were occupied, Chili decided to wander out and get some pets! She stayed out the whole time to visit me, and even played a little too. Later on, I went out back to visit the pups for a little bit. This evening, I came in and saw poor Quinney still had an upset tummy. He had a little booboo in his bed. I let them out quick, then worked on picking up. I took all his stuff outside and got it nice and clean for him. He was happy to get a drink from the hose while I did that. Haha. I got Oreo some carrots and lettuce to snack on. I visited the kitties for a little bit before it was time for the pups to come in. If Quinney is still having tummy issues in the morning, I will give him an extra visit tomorrow so he doesn't have to try and hold it. Poor bub.

This morning the pups went out for their quick potty break. Billy had floor trim flying around she was zooming so fast! Haha. I got their breakfast ready for them, then Billy was ready and waiting at the door. They came in and ate quick. I got Oreo some food, a little timothy hay snack and checked the water. Oreo got a few pets while we waited for the pups to finish eating. They went back out, then I went to see the kitties. I opened their blinds and turned the water on for them. Pepper and Salt were quick to come out and love on me. Pepper is quite the little attention hog! Haha. I had those two busy chasing their string around for awhile. Later on, I went out back to visit with the pups. I saw out the window that Quinney was exploring and Billy was just hanging out on the trampoline. Billy is still so excited around me! She gave me lots of muddy hugs this morning. We tried haha. She's cute though, so she can get away with it. :) This evening the big kids went out back to potty quick. I let them back in to eat their dinner. This time, they decided they wanted to go back out to play and will eat later. Oreo got her carrots and lettuce snacks. I went to see the kitties for awhile since the pups were busy playing out back. Chili was being more shy again today. I tried to get her to come out to see me, but the other two kept trying to steal my hand away so they could get all the pets to themselves! Haha. Those two sure love their attention. I went out back to play with the pups for awhile before bed tonight. I tried to get one of them to play fetch, but neither was interested. Billy did a lot better tonight about staying down. She was pretty much attached to my leg, wanting lots of back and heiny scratches. She did get over excited every time Quinney came over by me. Jealous maybe? Haha. She's such a sweet girl. Quinney had a little bit of soft stool this evening. Hopefully he's feeling a little better tomorrow. I may hold off on his bedtime snacks tomorrow to see if that's it. Other than that, everyone is doing great!

This morning I let the pups out for their potty breaks. While they were busy, I got their breakfast ready for them. Billy had eaten the rest of her dinner overnight. Yay! They came in to eat, then I went to check on Oreo. I fed her and made sure there was plenty of water. I cleaned out the dog's water bowls while they went back out to play. Billy didn't want to go out until I went out with her first. Haha! Then, it was time to see the kitties. Salt was first to come see me this time. She followed around while I checked their food and water. Pepper eventually wandered out and wanted some attention as well. She made me laugh when she was loving up on the faucet! Haha. Pepper tried to come out with me as I was leaving. Sorry kitty! This evening the pups took their breaks and came in for dinner. Billy has been eating well so far. I gave Oreo some carrots and lettuce for a dinner snack. Then, after the pups went back out I went to see the kitties. I closed up their windows. Just as I was doing that, Billy came and jumped up at the window, peering in at me. "Hey! Whatcha doin'?" Haha. Tonight I peeked under the bed and tried to let Chili sniff at me. Meanwhile, Pepper was rubbing up against my head. "Hey, you can pet me!" Chili quickly warmed up and came out for some pets. I had all three busy playing tonight.

Bella & Chico

This morning I opened the doors and the pups went racing out. I went out back with them for awhile. Miss Bella came over to say hi for a bit. The pups took turns working on their breakfast. Bella was busy roaming about the yard and chasing after her birds. Later on, the neighbor dog came outside and the dogs raced over to the fence before I could stop them. I had Bella come over and get her paws wiped off, then I sent her inside. Chico didn't appreciate that and got upset with me when I tried to clean his paws off. And unfortunately, he was a little mud ball! So, I wrapped him up in the towel and dried off what I could and carried him to his bed. He was not a happy camper. Haha! This afternoon the ground had dried up just a little. I let the kiddos out back to play for awhile. It turned out to be a pretty nice afternoon. They were busy exploring and keeping an eye out for their birdies. Soon, it was time to head in and get their peanut butter snacks.
