Rusty & Ruby

This afternoon I came in and Ruby was the first to greet me. I could hear Rusty scurrying around, looking for his ball. The pups both came outside with me right away. Rusty sprawled out on his belly in the grass, then rolled around. Ruby sat in the sunshine for a bit, then finally did her business. I saw the baby geese were out strolling around with their parents. After awhile, Rusty came over and brought his ball to me. Poor guy... I couldn't play like we usually do today. I dislocated some ribs yesterday, so throwing the ball as far as I usually do was out of the question. I was able to toss it for him though. I think he ended up doing more running that way! Haha. He would run out to his usual spot, then realized the ball was way behind him and would race to go scoop it up. He'll have to bear with me just a couple more days. :) Ruby had wandered in by now, and Rusty was busy exploring the yard. I went in quick to go check on Salem and she got a few quick pets before I left. This evening, the big kids were all out waiting for me. I fed them quick, then went to feed the pups. They both finished off their dinner for me. Then, we headed out back for awhile. Rusty got a little game of fetch in while Ruby sat by me for some pets. The ducks and geese were out tonight, so I tossed them a little food too. When it was time, I got the pups all tucked in for the night.

Bella & Zoe

This afternoon I came in and the girls were doing their little happy dance in the kitchen! I read notes quick, grabbed them each a rawhide and we made our way out back. It was beautiful out today! The girls came and said their hellos and got some pets, then they each curled up in the grass to work on their snack. After a little while, miss Bella came to sit by me for some heiny scratches. Zoe decided that Bella's bone looked better, so she went and took that one over. She was acting all tough any time Bella tried to come back to it. Haha. The girls got some extra time this afternoon to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. When it was time to go in, I got them fresh water and a treat before I left. This evening, I noticed the girls had eaten well throughout the day. Bella had her bowl empty and Zoe only had a few kibbles left. The girls and I headed outside right away. It was still so nice out! There were lots of ducks flying around tonight. Miss Bella just sat and watched, while Zoe tried running along the fence to "chase" after them. She cracks me up! Later, the girls worked on their leftover rawhides from earlier until it was time to head in. I got them their dinner and a bedtime snack.

Major

This morning I came in and saw Major standing by the doorway. He heard me and wandered inside on his own. He came and stood behind me, waiting patiently for his breakfast! I got Major working on that, then he got his injection. Such a good boy! He polished off his bowl, so I cleaned that up and got him some fresh water. After we were done, Major came and stood by me for some pets. Eventually, he wandered back outside to do his thing.

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening Oreo came running down the stairs when I came inside. He met me in the kitchen and was rubbing up against my legs and the cabinet doors. I had to wait for him to move so I could close their food door. Haha! He went to work while I took care of their things quick. Oreo was sitting by the living room waiting for me when I was done. He came trotting along with me to our spot, and almost got squished! He went walking under me as I was sitting on the floor. Haha. Oreo was happy for some attention time today. He purred away as he got his pets and rubbed his face on me. Later, I went to check what Stuffy was up to. He was just lounging on his ottoman upstairs.

Sadi & Noell

This morning I came in and Noell was in the kitchen, waiting for me. She brushed up against the cabinets while I grabbed Sadi's medicine. I saw Noell had made a mess trying to bury their food again. Silly lady! Sadi was sitting by the dishes, so I picked her up and gave her medicine quick. Noell raced down the hall as I was coming to get their breakfast ready. Sadi ate well for me and Noell came to snack a little. She was in quite the mood today! First, she would come up behind me and bite on my elbow or my knee. Later, as Sadi was enjoying her pets, Noell was busy playing with my sweatshirt strings. Then, she was actually licking my sweatshirt. Haha! Sadi worked on some more food before I left, and Noell got a little laser time.

Sadi & Noell

This morning I didn't see Noell at her post as I pulled up. I went inside and she met me in the kitchen. She was already purring and rubbing up against the cabinets. I gave her a few pets before we made our way to see Sadi. She was actually sleeping in her bed this morning. I woke her up and gave her her morning medicine. Noell decided she was going to nibble on some dry food while we were busy. She helped me go get their breakfast, then I cleaned up their area quick. Sadi ate well and enjoyed some attention when she was done. Noell was waiting in the hall for me to come play. We got a little time in with her laser light. This evening, Noell came to say hi. I noticed her treat mouse was emptied out since this morning, so I filled that up for her. She hopped up on the table to watch. Haha. Sadi was up when I got in their room. Her nose looked very good, so I got her working on her food. I went to go get Noell some more dinner. She was hanging out on the couch, peering through the pictures on the wall to supervise. Haha! Later, we got another short game in with her red dot.

Oreo & Stuffs

Today I came in and Oreo was just hopping down from the ottoman. He led the way to the kitchen and waited for me. I took care of their things, then went to go find Stuffy quick. He was hanging out in his bed in the closet. I sat down by him to pet him for awhile, since he was looking so comfy. I didn't figure he would be getting up anytime soon. Oreo wandered in by us and looked at me. "Excuse me... you are supposed to come pet me now!" Since I didn't follow, he got upset and left. Haha. When Stuffy had enough pets, I ventured out to go see Oreo. He was happy to come join me at our spot. He quickly forgave me and purred away as he got his share of pets and chin scratches.

Oscar

Happy birthday Oscar! He met me at the door today and I noticed his handsome new collar right away. The bowtie was adorable! He got some pets while I read mom's note quick. Then, we made our way out back. Oscar spent his birthday visit just relaxing. I tried to get him to play with his ball, but he just watched it fall right in front of him. That's ok though! He moved from place to place and curled up to lounge. When we went inside, I opened his new bag of treats. He got two today since it was his special day. It took him a lot longer to snack on those than his usual treats. He sure liked them!

Oscar

This afternoon, Oscar was lounging on the couch again. He stretched as he climbed down, then bounced along over to see me. We went outside right away. Oscar enjoyed the cooler weather. There were people outside working next door, so that kept him occupied today. He would bark occasionally when he heard loud sounds. Most of the time though, he sat and watched. When it was time, we made our way in for his snacks.

Tonight Oreo was right at the door to see me. He waited for me to shut the door, then made his way through the dining room to the kitchen. He did a big stretch, then waited patiently for his food. Stuffy was sitting on the bottom of the stairs, looking at me through the railings. I pet him a bit on my way to go take care of their box. When I finished, Oreo met me in the living room. He was ready for some pets today! He was busy getting his chin scratches, then Stuffy came to join us. Both boys hung out and got some attention. A bird outside the window caught Oreo's eye after awhile, so he spent the rest of the time window watching.
