Hudson, Zel, Gabbie & Blackie

Tonight Blackie met me at the door. I could hear the other kiddos barking excitedly. I let all the pups out for a quick potty break before dinner. I didn't see a towel set out, so I stole the one from the front door to use. They all got their tootsies dried off, then they danced around happily for their dinner. They all went to work, except for Zel. She just looked at it a bit. Hudson was starting to hover around her dish, so I put it up for tomorrow. The pups went back outside for another potty break after they finished. Since it was raining out tonight, it didn't take long before they were ready to go in. I dried paws off again, then we headed inside. Zel hopped right up on the chair and snuggled herself up in the back cushion. She was ready for bed I guess! Gabbie and Hudson snuggled on the couch with me for awhile. Blackie would come over for some attention as well.

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening Oreo was sitting in the dining room waiting for me. Stuffy was sitting in the dark at the top of the stairs, peering down at me. Creepy cat! Haha. Oreo met me in the kitchen for dinner and Stuffy came to the bottom of the stairs. The boys met me in the living room to cozy up by the fire on a cool, rainy evening. Shortly after, they both left me! Guess they didn't need much attention tonight. Stuffy eventually returned and came to snuggle up next to me. He enjoyed his pets until it was time to go.

Peanut

This morning I came in and Peanut was lounging in his bed. He laid there and watched me for a minute, then got up to come to the door. He went right out and did his business. While he did that, I got his breakfast ready. Peanut came in and danced around a bit. He followed me to the living room and I talked to him while he watched me. After a few minutes,  he wandered off to go eat. This afternoon, Peanut got up and walked to the back of the couch to see me. I had to coax him outside this time. He peeked around the corner of the doorway at me, then eventually came out to the patio. Since it was raining today, he was quick about his business! When he came in, he got his snacks. This evening, Peanut was snuggled in his bed again. He came over to see me, then went out back. He went to the grass and peed, then lined up at the door. I scooted him back out to the grass. It was still raining, so he tried to sneak around me and go back to the door. I tried again, and this time he got the hint. He went and finished up, then came in for dinner.

Oscar

This afternoon Oscar was at the door to greet me. He did his bouncy, happy walk as I pet him hello. We made our way out back to another gorgeous afternoon. Oscar picked a spot in the grass to sunbathe a bit. After that, he was busy roaming about the yard as usual, checking things out. I tried to get him to play frisbee with me, but he wasn't too interested. His neighbor friends came out after awhile, so Oscar watched them play a little. He found other spots to relax this afternoon, both in the sun and the shade. When it was time to go in, Oscar did his tricks for me to get his treat.

Peanut

This morning I came in and called for Peanut. He was snoozing soundly in his bed. I called his name a couple more times before he woke up. He sat straight up with a bark! Then, he came trotting over to see me. It took a little coaxing, but then he wandered outside to do his business. When he came back in, we sat in the living room a bit and he watched me while I tried to get him to play. After that, it was time for breakfast. This afternoon, Peanut was up and making his way to come see me when I got in. I tried to get him to go outside, but he just looked at me curiously. I went outside and called for him. He stood in the doorway and watched me a bit, but then he eventually came out with me. We sat outside for a bit after he did his business, and he got a little sunbathing in. This evening, Peanut got up and went right out for me. He peed, then headed for the door. I scooted him back to the grass a few times, but he would just circle me and go back to the door. When he came in, I got his dinner for him and he ate for me.

Oscar

Today I came in and found Oscar waiting for me at the edge of the living room again. He started getting all excited when he saw me and came running over to say hi. We went outside to go enjoy another beautiful afternoon! Oscar was very busy exploring today. He was off in the corner watching the neighborhood, then in the bushes checking things out. After that, he was keeping a close eye on a squirrel that was hopping around through the tree. Oscar eventually found himself a cozy spot in the shade to relax.

Oscar

Today I opened the door and didn't see Oscar. I heard him jingling in the living room. He was at the edge of the wood flooring, just standing and watching. When he saw me, I said hi and he immediately started bouncing around. He jumped down and grabbed the closest toy and gave me a playful grrr. He cracks me up! We said hi, then went outside. It was a beautiful day! Oscar found a spot right away to lounge and sunbathe. He was racing back and forth across the yard today, on patroll. He and the neighbor dogs would let me know any time someone was walking by. There were quite a few passersby too, since it was nice out. Later, Oscar found a spot in the shade to relax until we went in.

Sadi & Noell

This morning I met Noell in the bedroom, on her way to come see me. She hopped over the board into their room, then sat on her haunches. She was ready for food! Sadi was sleeping in her bed this morning. The tent bed was squished down again. Silly girls! Sadi was just starting to wake up while I picked up their room. She got her medicine this morning, including the baytril. I gathered their dishes and went to the kitchen, with Noell as my little shadow. She sat and told me a story while I got their food together. The girls went to work on eating for me. Noell got half way through with hers, then she started to try and bury her own food! Don't know what to do with that sassy little lady! Haha. After she was done, she came and sat in my lap, swatting at my sweatshirt strings. Sadi sat and rubbed her head on my knee while I gave her chin scratches. This evening, Noell was sitting in the bed closest to the door, with her paws sitting on the edge. Sadi was sleeping too. I got her up and working on her dinner, then went to get Noell's food. Noell got some zoom time in before I left.

Major

This morning I saw Major out back when I arrived. He heard me coming and went to wait at the back door for me. I opened the door to say hi quick, then got his breakfast ready. He got his medicine and ate well. After I got his dishes cleaned up and filled his water, I went out back to visit with him. He kept looking inside and acted like he wanted to go in, but didn't. He even put one paw on the mat! I called for him and he came back by me and got a few pets.

Peanut

This morning I came in but didn't hear Peanut getting up to see me. I called for him as I walked in. I found him in the living room, all snuggled up in his bed! He must have been too comfy to get up. When he saw me, he slowly got out of bed and did a big stretch. I walked out back and he joined me to go do his business. When he came in, Peanut ate his breakfast for me. We sat in the living room for a little bit after that, and I talked to him and tried to get him to play. He still just curiously watches me. Haha. When it was time to go, I left him a couple little snacks. Peanut did great!
