Oscar

Today I came in and found Oscar waiting for me at the edge of the living room again. He started getting all excited when he saw me and came running over to say hi. We went outside to go enjoy another beautiful afternoon! Oscar was very busy exploring today. He was off in the corner watching the neighborhood, then in the bushes checking things out. After that, he was keeping a close eye on a squirrel that was hopping around through the tree. Oscar eventually found himself a cozy spot in the shade to relax.

Oscar

Today I opened the door and didn't see Oscar. I heard him jingling in the living room. He was at the edge of the wood flooring, just standing and watching. When he saw me, I said hi and he immediately started bouncing around. He jumped down and grabbed the closest toy and gave me a playful grrr. He cracks me up! We said hi, then went outside. It was a beautiful day! Oscar found a spot right away to lounge and sunbathe. He was racing back and forth across the yard today, on patroll. He and the neighbor dogs would let me know any time someone was walking by. There were quite a few passersby too, since it was nice out. Later, Oscar found a spot in the shade to relax until we went in.

Sadi & Noell

This morning I met Noell in the bedroom, on her way to come see me. She hopped over the board into their room, then sat on her haunches. She was ready for food! Sadi was sleeping in her bed this morning. The tent bed was squished down again. Silly girls! Sadi was just starting to wake up while I picked up their room. She got her medicine this morning, including the baytril. I gathered their dishes and went to the kitchen, with Noell as my little shadow. She sat and told me a story while I got their food together. The girls went to work on eating for me. Noell got half way through with hers, then she started to try and bury her own food! Don't know what to do with that sassy little lady! Haha. After she was done, she came and sat in my lap, swatting at my sweatshirt strings. Sadi sat and rubbed her head on my knee while I gave her chin scratches. This evening, Noell was sitting in the bed closest to the door, with her paws sitting on the edge. Sadi was sleeping too. I got her up and working on her dinner, then went to get Noell's food. Noell got some zoom time in before I left.

Major

This morning I saw Major out back when I arrived. He heard me coming and went to wait at the back door for me. I opened the door to say hi quick, then got his breakfast ready. He got his medicine and ate well. After I got his dishes cleaned up and filled his water, I went out back to visit with him. He kept looking inside and acted like he wanted to go in, but didn't. He even put one paw on the mat! I called for him and he came back by me and got a few pets.

Peanut

This morning I came in but didn't hear Peanut getting up to see me. I called for him as I walked in. I found him in the living room, all snuggled up in his bed! He must have been too comfy to get up. When he saw me, he slowly got out of bed and did a big stretch. I walked out back and he joined me to go do his business. When he came in, Peanut ate his breakfast for me. We sat in the living room for a little bit after that, and I talked to him and tried to get him to play. He still just curiously watches me. Haha. When it was time to go, I left him a couple little snacks. Peanut did great!

Peanut

This afternoon I came inside and called for Peanut. He heard me and started to bark. I read mom's not quick, then went to let the little guy out. He trotted along behind me to the door, then stood and watched me. I walked out to the patio to get him to come out with me. After a couple minutes, he finally did. Silly boy! He did his business like a good little boy and came back inside. I like his cute jacket! This evening, Peanut knew it was me and started barking hello. He met me behind the couch. I let him out back, while I got his dinner ready for him. When he came in, I tried to get him to play with his little dog toy. He bounced around excitedly a bit and tried to grab on! But, I think he was more interested in getting his treat, so it was short lived. Haha!

Major

I didn't see Major when I pulled up this evening. But, as soon as I got inside, he must have heard me! He started whining and pawing at the door. Major knew it was time for dinner. I got his food and his insulin ready. He started working on his supper while I gave his medicine. I got him some fresh water as well. When he was finished, he stood by the door and awaited my return after cleaning his bowl. He enjoyed some pets while he was busy sniffing at other animal scents on me.

Sadi & Noell

This morning Noell was sitting under the kid's table waiting for me. I picked her up and pet her for a minute, then set her back down. After that, she went bounding and leaping down the hall like a little bunny rabbit! Haha. Guess someone has some energy! Sadi was snoozing in the little leopard print kitty bed today. The tent bed was smooshed down again too, so she must have been up there earlier. I got her up for her medicine and cleaned up her nose. Noell tried to tackle my leg on my way over the board, then she zoomed off into the bedroom. I got the girls their breakfast, and they both ate for me. Noell snuggled up in my lap while Sadi got her pets. Noell had fun playing with my sweatshirt strings too! Haha. This evening, I found Sadi snoozing in the tent bed. Noell had come down the hall to greet me. She sat just outside the bathroom door while Sadi got her nose cleaned up. I got Sadi working on her food. As soon as I turned towards the door to head to the kitchen, Noell jumped up in the air and raced off to beat me! She's so crazy! Haha.

Today I walked in and made my way to see the girls. I was surprised to see Noell lounging on the bed! I think she likes having mom's sweatshirt up there to snuggle with when she misses her. :) She did a big stretch and wandered to the edge of the bed, where I picked her up and snuggled her. We walked over to their room and again, I was surprised. Both girls were sleeping in new spots! Sadi was all curled up on top of the tent bed, sleeping soundly. Haha! She woke up when she heard me, and I cleaned up her nose quick. I got her working on dinner, while I went to get some for Noell.

Oscar

This afternoon my buddy met me at the door to say hi. He was bouncing around all excited! We made our way to the door and on out back. The sun was shining and felt so nice today! Oscar came over for a few more pets, then made himself comfortable on the patio. He did some sunbathing for awhile. The neighbor pups came out back later on, so Oscar got up to check out what they were up to. He wandered around the yard after that, doing some exploring. Then finally, he found a nice spot in the grass to lounge some more. It was a perfect day for that. When it was time, I rinsed his paws and dried them off before we headed inside. Oscar did his tricks for me for his snack before I left.
