Oscar

Today Oscar met me at the door for some hello pets. We headed outside right away to enjoy the beautiful weather! Oscar made sure go stop me for some more hugs and heiny scratches, before he went to go sunbathe. He found a nice cozy spot on the grass for awhile, then moved up onto the patio. When it was time to go in, I got him some fresh water. I was going to get him a snack, but when I opened it, I realized it was empty. Boy, was he disappointed! He wouldn't even let me pet him to say sorry. Haha! I checked the pantry and laundry room to see if there were any extra snacks around. I did find a bag in the laundry room that was almost gone, but at least he got something. Haha!

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy was lounging on her chair under the table again. She poked her head out and meowed at me. Miss Sadi was sitting in the food room. Someone has been using the new boxes, but based at looking at the pads, I think it is only Stormy. She seems to prefer the ease of the new ones over the original box. Haha. I got Sadi's nosey cleaned up and she got her medicine. Stormy followed along to the kitchen to wait as I got their food together. The girls worked on eating, while I cleaned up their boxes.

Hudson, Zel, Gabbie & Blackie

This morning Blackie was the only one at the door to see me at first. The others must have been snoozing. Suddenly, three little pups came scrambling to the kitchen to see me! That was funny. I let them all out for their potty break. The grass was quite damp this morning, so they had to get their tootsies dried off before breakfast. After they ate, we wandered back out. Zel and Hudson were way off at the other end of the yard, busy exploring. A large black bird flew overhead and Hudson went barking and chasing after it. Haha! Blackie did a little wandering, but then stuck close to me for some attention. Miss Gabbie sat at the door for awhile, wanting to go in and snuggle in her blankie. When it was time, Gabbie and Blackie went in. I had to call for the other two, since they were still busy sniffing around. Eventually, they came in and everyone got tucked in their beds.

Rusty & Ruby

This morning I let Rusty and Ruby out for their break before breakfast. They both ate, then waited for me, while I took care of the others inside. Miss Salem got some pets this morning too. I let Rusty and Ruby back out, and had Ranger join them. I got breakfast ready for the other four, while they were doing their business. This afternoon miss Ruby took her potty break with Rusty. Rusty and I got a little fetch in, while she was busy wandering around. Ranger was back home now too, so he hung out with us as well. He just sat by me most of the time and enjoyed some pets. I put them inside when it was Charlie's turn to come out and play. I tossed a ball around for him and he'd run over to it, but wasn't quite sure what to do next. So, he would just run back over by me. Haha. He and I chased around a little bit, until it was time for him to go back in. This evening, I let Ranger out right away, while I went to feed the big kids. They were busy at the other end of the pasture, but came running when they heard me. Rusty and Ruby had wandered out by now as well. They came in to get their dinners. Rusty and Ranger both got their evening medicine. Later, Charlie came out and played for a bit. The four outside pups had time to eat their dinners as well.

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening I saw Stuffy peeking down at me from around the corner at the top of the stairs. He waited until I passed by into the living room, then I heard him making his way down. Oreo met me in the kitchen, ready for his food. Stuffy actually came in there to wait today too! I took care of their other things, then went to the living room. I turned the fireplace on and sat near it. Stuffy came to sit closer to me. Oreo came to sniff at me, then went and sat in our usual spot. I think he was wondering what the heck I was doing! He gave up and went to go eat, instead of coming to the new spot. Haha. Stuffy enjoyed some belly rubs. As I was leaving, I saw Oreo was just hanging out in the dining room again. Silly boy.

Winston

This afternoon Winston did a big stretch when I arrived. I got his leash on, then we headed outside for a stroll. It was beautiful out today! We walked around the whole time. Winston was busy checking things out, then wanted to go romp through the tall grass. Later, we saw a bulldog on a walk. Winston watched him a little, then we continued on. Next, we saw a border collie. Winston was quite intrigued by that pup, and really pulled to try and say hi! They went on their way, so we wandered around some more. When we got back home, Winston had to show me his new stuffed animal toy! (New to me anyways haha)

Eddie & Butler

This afternoon I let the boys out and they danced circles around me while they said hi. They smelled other animal scents on me, which had them cirious! Eventually, they wandered outside. After they did their business, the boys both picked a spot on the patio to lounge around. It was a beautiful afternoon! Eddie came wandering over to visit with me awhile. I had a good laugh when I spotted Butler slowly sneaking up on the fence! Haha. I guess his friend was on the other side.

Hudson, Zel, Gabbie & Blackie

We had a brief storm outside this morning. It was just finishing up by the time I came to see the pups. I let them all out to potty, then they got dried off to come in for breakfast. Since the rain passed, it was quite a bit cooler out. The girls didn't want to stay out real long. Hudson didn't care. He was busy climbing around on top of the wood pile! Silly boy. The girls and Blackie came in with me to warm up. Gabbie snuggled up in the blankets by me. She kept sticking her nose out to sniff at me. Haha! Blackie got some pets, while Zel was busy working on her bone. This evening Blackie met me at the door. He waited in the living room, while I let the other kids out. They all headed out for their potty break. Everyone came in, except for Zel. I guess she still had to finish up. The other three were going crazy having to wait for her! Haha. Finally, she came and they all ate dinner. Back outside, the pups had some time to explore. Blackie was being a little silly about coming inside when it was time. That, or he just thought it was too nice out! I went out to get him and then he felt ok to come in with the others. Silly boy.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy meowed at me from under the table when I walked in. She was  lounging on a chair. Sadi was up and getting a drink when I went to see her. I picked her up and got her cleaned up and she took her medicine. I checked all the boxes this morning, then Stormy waltzed in and used one of the new ones, once it was clean. Haha. I got the girls their breakfast. They both went to work on that, while I changed out pads. I watched Sadi for awhile when she was done. She would wander around a bit, then just sit. I put her in her box a couple times while I was there today, so we'll see what happens.

Rusty & Ruby

This morning I arrived and it was just starting to rain out. I got Ruby out quick so she could potty. Rusty came along as well, then we went in for their breakfast. I gave him the last of his good pills this morning, since he was pretty itchy again yesterday. My allergies were bad today too! Haha. I got the turtles some more food and fresh water, then went to see Salem. She was quite talkative again, and she sure didn't want to wait for me to scoop her box or take care of her other stuff! She had to follow along to help me get her more water. Finally, she got her long awaited pets! The pups and I went out again so Ruby could have another potty break. I let Ranger come out and join them this time. By now it was down-pouring outside, so Ruby was ready to head in. I locked those two in, then let Mr. Charlie come out for his turn. I got all four pups some food and water. Charlie and Ranger stuck pretty close to me. They didn't seem to like the thunder. When it was time, I put the boys back in their beds. This afternoon, the rain was far gone. Ruby came out to go potty. She took a little convincing again, but finally went. She and Rusty explored a little while, and Ranger sat with me for some pets. He really is a sweet little cutie. Ranger got to come out when the other two headed back inside. Those two wandered around for awhile. He did well and didn't get into any mischief. This evening I got Rusty and Ruby their dinners quick, then we headed outside. They did their business, while I fed the kiddos in the pasture. Ranger got to come out and visit awhile too. Ruby wandered around and explored. Rusty and I got some fetch time in, until it was their turn to go inside. I fed the four pups, and Charlie got to stretch his legs for awhile.
