This afternoon I got Winston out and ready to go. It was another beautiful day outside! We walked all over the place for most of our visit. Winston was busy sniffing around at trees and bushes along the way. We got to see a little bulldog out there today as well. Once he went back in, Winston and I continued our walk. When we got back home, I got out his rope toy. We played a shorter game of tug, until it was time to go.
This afternoon my buddy met me at the door. He didn't wait long for me and started running along ahead of me to the living room. He picked up his yellow tug toy along the way and wanted to play with that! I chased him to the door and we played for a minute, before going outside. It was beautiful out there today. Oscar did his business, then he wanted to play! I grabbed his frisbee and he played tug with that. He would let me throw it occasionally, then it was a game of keep away once he got it! He pulled one corner off today, and was trying to rip it all the way off, so I put it up on the table. I tried to get him interested in his other frisbee. It took awhile, but finally he gave in! Oscar lounged outside for a few minutes, then we went in and played with his yellow toy again until it was time to go.
This morning I let miss Ruby out. She and Rusty went out for their potty breaks and came in for breakfast. After they finished, I checked on Salem's things and refreshed everyone's waters. The pups and I went outside after. Rusty and I played some fetch and Ruby hung out for a few minutes. She went in not too long after that. Back inside, I got them some new bones to work on for a bit. This afternoon, I opened Ruby's cage and she zoomed outside on her own. She waited on the patio for me to get out there, then went to do her business. Rusty had come out with us, but went in to get his ball. He brought that out to his spot and rolled around in the grass awhile. He lounged for a bit, then decided to go explore. I heard Salem down the hall later on, so i went to visit her. She meowed loudly and wanted some attention too! This evening, the pups must not have heard me pull up. I opened the door and called for them. Then, they came running! Ruby was leaping and bounding as usual. I fed the other kids quick, who were waiting for me. Then, Rusty and Ruby ate their dinners. It was a nice evening out, so we spent some time outside. Rusty got his fetch game in and Ruby hung out by me.
Today the girls must have been snoozing when I pulled up. After I shut my door, I heard them run up to the gate. They were dancing around excitedly! They came in and said hi, then I got their food ready. When I was done, I walked to the living room and saw them sitting on either end of the couch, waiting for me! They both could hardly contain their excitement, until I actually sat with them. Then, they flopped around and pawed, and snuck their kisses. After awhile, they settled down and fell asleep as I pet them. They both snoozed on the couch today.
This morning Stormy was sitting in the living room, grooming herself. She gave me a loud meow as I came up to say hi. I gave her a few pets, then went to see Sadi. She was just sitting in the food room this morning. I saw she hadn't been using the litter box again, and had a few more spots. I cleaned those up after she got her medicine. I got their food ready and they worked on that next. Sadi ate and drank well again. I just watched her awhile today to see if she was acting any different. She still did her occasional circling, but nothing out of the ordinary. I did the floors today, and Stormy enjoyed sitting on the pile of rugs I had! Haha.
This afternoon I got Winston out of his room and he was ready to go! I got him hooked up and we went on our way. It was a windy, fall afternoon and it was just beautiful outside! We spent most of our visit wandering around outside and enjoying the weather. There were lots of butterflies out in the grass, of all different sizes. Winston had fun trying to run up to them to check them out! He would bounce up when they flew away. Haha. We saw some people along our walk, that Winston would stop to watch. He also had a fun romp through the tall grass. So cute! When we got back home, we had a couple minutes to play tug with his rope toy.
Today I was met at the door by my buddy! I walked in saying hi to him, then I noticed he had gotten into some stuff. Naughty little boy! It wasn't bad, he just had torn a few pieces off a plastic bag. Probably, to check out what was inside! I set that up on the counter and threw away the pieces. We wandered outside next. It was a beautiful day! Oscar was in a playful mood today. I went and got his frisbee and we played a game of tug. He gave it to me after a little while and I was able to throw it for him a few times. He was playing keep away too! Sneaky! After awhile he was done, and just wanted to lounge. He kept laying in different places to enjoy the beautiful weather.
Today I let Mr. Eddie out and he pranced along with me to get Butler. The boys said hi, then they ran outside. The neighbor pup came outside, so they got all excited. The boys raced along the fence. It was a beautiful day out today, so they spent some time lounging. Eddie would come in to get some attention. Butler ran in to wrestle with his brother a little, then raced back outside. When it was time, the boys were good and went to their beds.
Today I pulled up and saw Sophie laying in the grass, sunbathing. She popped up and ran to the gate to say hi. Roxy joined her shortly after. I grabbed the garbage can and put that out. I let the ladies inside and got their food ready. They were some lazy puppies today! Sophie and Roxy hopped up on either side of me on the couch. They pawed and gave kisses to say hi and get their pets. Roxy retired to her chair. Then, they both took a snooze. Later, I got them up and let them back out with their snacks. It was a beautiful day outside!
This morning I came in and found Stormy just sitting in the living room. She gave me a loud meow hello. I stopped to give her a quick pet, then went to see Sadi. She was curled up next to the food bowls. So cute! I got her up and gave her her medicine. Stormy kept following me around this morning. I delivered their breakfast, and the girls went to work. There were a couple new potty spots that I got cleaned up while they ate. Sadi was still working on breakfast when I finished with their other things, so I let her continue.
