Rusty & Ruby

This morning I let the pups outside for their potty break. Ruby raced in and was dancing around for her breakfast. Rusty waited at his dish as well. While they were busy, I went to feed Salem and the turtles. They had eaten all their food again for me. As I was busy filling water bowls and the pups had gone back out, I saw Salem out of the corner of my eye. She had wandered down the hall to see what I was up to. I went to go pet her, but she ran down the hall to hide. Outside, Rusty was ready for his fetch game. We got a nice long game in. Ruby was hanging out on the patio with us. It was a gorgeous day out! This afternoon I let Ruby out and Rusty came wandering into the kitchen from the front room. Ruby was being stubborn about going potty for me this time! She kept making a break for the house. I'd call her back and she'd come a little ways, after more calls a little further. It took quite awhile, then she finally went potty. Silly girl! Meanwhile, Rusty kept bringing me his red ball to throw for him. This evening, the pups met me at the gate. Ruby was doing her silly bouncing all over. She makes me laugh. We went in and they got their supper. After they finished, we went back out and I fed the other kiddos. They were, of course, all waiting for me!

Winston

It was a rainy afternoon today. I arrived and got Winston hooked up and ready to go. We wandered out and he looked hesitant to walk through the puddle of water at first. Then, he and I went out and he pottied for me. He took his time today, so we wandered around a bit. Luckily, it wasn't raining super hard. We got back inside and he was being goofy. I guess the water got to him! Haha. He slid on the floor, then when I got his harness off, he did some zooms around the living room. He went and got his rope toy and we played a long game of tug. He was all into it today and was quite talkative as he did his bunny hops!

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy meowed hello to me from her chair under the dining table. I found Sadi sitting in the food room. Someone had a pottied in the wrong places a couple times. I got that picked up, then started giving Sadi her meds. She took them well. Stormy got her dose of medication this morning as well. Then, I got breakfast ready for the girls. Stormy came in to chow down, and Sadie snacked a bit as well. I sat in their room with them and brushed Sadie when she was done. She just sat and purred away.

Rusty & Ruby

This morning I let Ruby out, then the pups went out for a quick potty break. They both were excited to have their breakfast this morning. While they ate, I checked on everyone else. Afterwards, we went outside for awhile. Ruby raced around, then did some exploring. Rusty and I got a nice game of fetch in. This afternoon, I let Ruby out again, then we went outside. It was raining again, so she wasn't too happy about that. I went out with her and she kept trying to run back in on me. When I'd tell her no, she needs to go potty, she would run a wide circle and head back over by me. Rusty wasn't having any of this rain either! He peed quick, then went inside. Finally, Ruby finished her business, then she raced in as well. The pups and I sat in the front room awhile. They messed around for a bit, then settled to work on their bones. This evening, I got the big kids outside fed right away. By then, Rusty and Ruby were outside waiting for me as well. They got their dinners. Ruby tried to make an attempt to get Rusty's food. Sneaky lady! But, I caught her. We went outside when they were done, then Rusty and I got another long game of fetch in. Ruby was hanging out inside after awhile. When it was time, I got her tucked in her bed for the night.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

It had rained overnight, so everything was all wet outside again. I got Cole up and let miss Sadie outside. Cole went out and I had to encourage him to wander into the grass to do his business. Zoie went out for her quick break, then wanted to come in pretty quick. She was looking around for that little piece of rawhide I threw out! Haha. Next, it was time for breakfast. Everyone ate well. Zoie came back out while Sadie got to spend more time outside. She kept placing her bowl near me and giving me a sad look. Then, just as I'd reach for it, she'd pick it up and race off. "Haha, I gotcha!" This afternoon it was raining again. I got in and Cole met me in the laundry room. I took him out back, while Zoie was out front. He wandered out to the grass pretty quick to do his business. I got him dried off, then we sat in the kitchen. Sadie got some kisses, and those two got their pets. I went out to get Zoie, since she was all tangled up. Sadie went out next. Miss Zoie came and sat next to me on the fireplace, along with all her toys. She and I played some tug with her frisbee. When it was time for Sadie to come in, I had to go get her as well. She had her line alp wrapped around the tree. This evening, I got the two kiddos out of the bedroom. Zoie was at the gate in the kitchen, dancing around with her bowl. I let Sadie out for a quick potty break, then Zoie went out next. Cole and I headed out back for his turn. They all came in to eat their dinners. Sadie went back out for a little while. Silly girl got all tangled up again. What's the deal today? Haha! Inside, Zoie had her bowl on the floor, upside down. Then, she was playing soccer with it, sliding it around with her nose! The girls got their bones, and Cole got tucked in his room for the night. They will be happy to see their family!

Eddie & Butler

It was pouring rain this afternoon when I came to see the boys. I let them out, then they danced circles around me, saying hi. They seemed rather interested in all the other puppy dog smells on me today! They eventually wandered outside and did their business. Butler lounged on his chair out there awhile. The boys spent quite a bit of time inside today. They made sure to share their wet doggieness with me! haha. They had fun wrestling around, then they both laid down to relax awhile.

Sophie & Roxy

Today the girls were at the gate, watching for me. I went inside and they were already lined up at the door to come in. I got their food and water ready, then we went to the living room. Today, it was Roxy that plopped herself across my lap! Sophie went to go snack on her food after she said hi. That got Roxy hungry too, so she went to join her. While we were inside, the rain started coming down again. It's sure been a rainy weekend! After the girls ate, they came and snuggled up on either side of me for a little nap. Rainy days are good for that! When it was time, we went out and I got them each a couple treats.

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening I came in and didn't see any kitties again. I walked into the bedroom to see if they were in there. Yep! They were snuggling to keep warm on another chilly day. I pet them hello, then went to get their food ready. Oreo came and joined me in the kitchen right away. He snacked, while I went to scoop their box. I stopped back in by Stuffy to give him some attention for awhile. Oreo was patiently waiting for his turn! He came running to sit with me in the living room. He snuggled up next to me. He was thoroughly enjoying his chin scratches and kept rubbing his head on me as I pet him. After a little while, his tummy got hungry and he went to go snack some more.

Sophie & Roxy

Today I got in and opened the door. The girls came running from around the side of the house. They must have been watching for me out front. They came racing inside, all excited! I got their food quick and topped off their water bowl outside. Then, I went to go visit with them. Roxy was already sitting on the couch, waving her paw at me. "You can sit here!" As soon as I sat down, both girls smothered me with tons of kisses! Sophie sprawled out across my lap and was rolling around, being silly as usual. The girls settled after some time and got comfy on either side of me. They both took a little snooze while I pet them. They must have enjoyed that, because they barely moved the rest of the time! When it was time, they got up and headed outside for their treats!

Rusty & Ruby

This morning I let Ruby out, and we headed outside right away. She quickly went potty, then bounced her way to the back door. She was hungry! Ruby and Rusty were both dancing around in the kitchen while they waited for their breakfast. After they finished, I checked on everyone else. The turtles were napping, and hadn't eaten much since yesterday. I went to see Salem and she was sitting on the bed. She was a lovey girl this morning! She meowed to me quite a bit. I gave her lots of chin scratches and pets, and she would even paw at me for more! I pet her for a good while, then went to see what the pups were up to. They were busy chewing on their bones in the front room. When they saw me walk in, they got all excited. Rusty was prancing around with his bone, then Ruby kept trying to grab onto the other side! This afternoon Ruby, Rusty and I went out back for their potty break. I got Ruby all riled up and she ran laps around the yard as fast as she could! Haha. She soon made her way inside. Rusty and I got a little game of fetch in, before he got distracted. Later, they were both in the front room, working on their rawhides. This evening, both pups were bouncing up and down at the gate, happy to see me! Or, they were just excited that it was dinner time. Haha! I went out and fed the big kids quick, then Ruby and Rusty got their dinners. We all went outside after they finished. I got Ruby all excited again and she went zooming around. Rusty brought me his ball and we got a nice long game of fetch in. When they wanted to go in, we went to the front room. The pups wrestled around, then settled and worked on their bones.
