Eddie & Butler

This afternoon I let Eddie out and he was walking circles around me, while I was trying to get Butler out. I guess he missed me last week! He wanted my full attention and kept talking to me. Butler came out and I applied his spray. The boys said hi, then wandered outside to play a bit. Butler did not appreciate the heat, and headed back inside the cool house after a short while. Eddie was content sunbathing on the patio. Butler would poke his head out the doggie door occasionally, to make sure he wasn't missing out on anything! When it was time to head in, Eddie went right to his bed. Butler, well, he wanted to play chase! I didn't give in today, and he caught on pretty quick and went to his bed as well.

Rusty & Ruby

This afternoon I let Ruby out and she bounced around on her way to the back door. I called for Rusty and he came to follow us outside. Ruby never made it off the porch! She plopped down in the sunny spot to take a snooze. Rusty wandered out to the grass to sunbathe awhile as well. Rusty eventually wandered inside, since it was a hot afternoon. Ruby, to my surprise, stayed out awhile longer. I called for her to come out into the grass by me to do her business. She peed, then laid around some more. She didn't seem to mind the heat too much today! When she got up, she finished her business, then went inside by Rusty.

Oscar

This afternoon Oscar met me at the door. I missed him! He did a happy little dance for some heiny scratches, then kept rubbing his face against my leg as we made our way to the back. I guess he missed me too! We got outside and he stopped by me to continue saying hi for a little longer, before he went to find a sunny spot in the grass. It was a hot afternoon. Oscar didn't sunbathe too long, before he went wandering around in the shade instead. He did a bit of exploring around the yard, until he was ready to go in and cool off. We played tug with one of his toys for a few minutes before his treat time. He did a few tricks for me for his favorite snack.

Oreo & Stuffs

Tonight was almost like a repeat of yesterday. Stuffy was sitting at the top of the stairs, and Oreo came wandering in through the dining room. Oreo joined me in the kitchen, and was busy rubbing his face on my leg. I got him his yums and he went to work. Stuffy was sitting at the bottom of the stairs when I was finished with their box. He was rubbing his face against the railings. I saw Oreo was now by my shoes by the front door. Both boys tagged along and joined me in our spot for some attention. I had Oreo on one side, and Stuffy wandering around on the other. They loved up their pets and scratches. Oreo suddenly hopped up and went to the kitchen to snack. Stuffy got some one on one then. He rolled over and purred away as I rubbed his tummy. As I was leaving, I saw Oreo had returned to the entryway and was just sitting on the rug, soaking up some sunlight. Silly boy!

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening Oreo was making his way to the door to see me. Stuffy was watching me from the top of the stairs. Oreo followed along to the kitchen and sat to wait for me to get his dinner. He worked on that while I cleaned their box. I went up the stairs to say hi to Stuffy for a little bit. He sat by the post and rubbed his face on that while I pet him, then laid down on his side for some tummy scratches. I saw Oreo was busy checking out my shoes downstairs. I went to go visit him awhile too. He came running into the living room to come lay by me. He sat and enjoyed his attention time, until he got hungry again for his snack.

This evening I came in and no one met me at the door. I walked to the kitchen and got their food ready, and still didn't see anyone. Then, I found out why. The boys were busy snuggling! They were laying next to each other on the bed. I stopped to say hi to them on my way to clean their box. When I went to the living room, Oreo came to join me. He was a lovey boy today! He was busy rubbing his face on my ankle, while I scratched his little chin. He was rolling and moving around,and just couldn't sit still! Haha. He loved up every minute of his attention. When he got bored with me, I went to visit Stuffy for a little bit. He was still lounging on the bed.

This evening Oreo came to sit in the entryway as I walked in. I heard a loud beeping sound, so I went to investigate where it was coming from. Looks like the power went out at some point today, so a surge protector was yelling at me. Haha. Oreo was following me around to help. When I was done, he did a big stretch and followed me to the kitchen. Stuffy was sitting at the edge of the living room. Oreo ate a little while I took care of their things. When I was done, I saw Oreo had gone to go sit by my shoes. He came running in to sit by me, with Stuffy not far behind him. Oreo laid up next to me and enjoyed his pets and chin scratches. He purred away. Stuffy sat nearby, but out of my reach. When Oreo went to go eat some more, I laid next to Stuffy and pet him a bit. He rolled to his side and closed his eyes, while I pet his tummy. Oreo returned and snuggle up next to me again until it was time to go.

Rusty & Ruby

This afternoon I let Ruby out and she went out on her own through the doggie door. Rusty came running and he followed me out the back door. Both pups ran to the grass and laid down in the sunshine. They got up after a few minutes to do their business. They made me laugh today when they kept taking turns peeing on the same spot, over and over! After they were finally done, Rusty rolled around in the grass and lounged some more. Ruby went to sprawl out on the patio and sunbathe. Rusty eventually wanted to play today, so he brought over his purple ball for me to throw. We played until he was starting to get warm, then everyone went in to cool off.

Eddie & Butler

This afternoon I let Eddie out, then was trying to get Butler out so I could apply his medicine. He didn't want to! Haha. Eddie wanted my attention, so he snuggled his head under my arm. "Pet me!" Then, he was trying to gnaw on me, since I was ignoring him at the moment. Silly boy! Once Butler came out and got his spray on, the boys and I went outside. They got some pets, and gave me kisses in return. It was nice and sunny out, so they spent plenty of time sunbathing on the patio. Butler laid out in the grass awhile too. When Eddie came over, they started to mess around with each other.

This evening Oreo met me in the kitchen. He sat and stared at me while I got their yummy snacks. He started to eat, so I went to clean their box. When I walked back through, I saw Stuffy had joined him. The boys followed me to our spot in the living room. They laid down on either side of me for some attention. Oreo was running his face in my hand and on my ankle, purring away. Stuffy moved just out of reach and was content just sitting nearby. Oreo eventually wandered back to the kitchen to snack some more. So, I moved closer to Stuffy to pet him some more. He rolled to his side for some belly rubs.
