Eddie & Butler

I saw Butler's bed got relocated a little since last time. I let Eddie out and got Butler's medicine applied. Once he came out, he jumped on the couch and was being a silly boy. He was sliding and rolling around on the couch! What a goof. We headed outside and the boys explored. They went a little crazy when they heard the garbage truck go by! Haha. They stopped everything to race to the opposite side of the yard occasionally, when they would hear something interesting. They took a break to come say hi and give me some kisses. Then, the boys wandered in to cool off awhile.

Winston

It wasn't super hot inside today when I got there, so that was good! I grabbed the fan for later, then got Winston ready to go. We headed outside and went for a nice walk. He did his business a couple times today! We wandered around for awhile, so he could sniff around and check out the trees. I saw the repair guy had arrived, so Winston and I continued to wander around outside, so we wouldn't be in his way. When we went in, I got his fan set up and filled both his water dishes. We'll get more play time in tomorrow!

Riley & Hunter

This evening the pups barked as I was opening the door. They both got so excited when they saw me! Hunter was bouncing around and barking at me, ready to play. We headed outside so they could go potty, but they were too busy saying hi. Once they settled down, I got his ball out and we played a short game of fetch. We went back inside so they could try to eat, but neither was interested tonight. They got another potty break for the night and we spent a little while outside. Hunter explored, while Riley lounged on the patio until it was time to go in.

Piglet, Karma & Echo

This morning I came in and Karma must have heard me. She met me at the hall entrance and followed along to get Piglet. The girls and I headed outside and they both did their business. When Karma was ready, I asked if she was ready for a walk and she went running over towards the path. We took our walk and came back to join Piglet again, who was awaiting our return. When we went inside, I went to clean up the booboo in the living room. Echo was ready for breakfast and came to tell me. I got her food first, then got the girl's food ready. Piglet took her medicine. I tried to get them to eat for me, but they were still being sad about mom being gone. Poor ladies. I gave them their cookies and told them I'd be back. This evening, the girls were ready to head outside. They both wandered around and went potty for me. When we went in, I scooped the litter box, then we tried to play a bit. Piglet would help Karma get her ball, and they'd both bring it back. Haha! Piglet kept stealing it and taking it to the living room, so I let her keep it and got Karma the other one. By that time, she was done playing. Both girls enjoyed some pets and scratches, then I got the girls their dinner. Karma was ready to eat and went to work right away. I had to coax Piglet a little while I gave her her medicine, but then she came to eat as well. Both girls licked their bowls clean!

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy joined me in the kitchen. She was busy rubbing against my legs and the cupboards. I gave her an extra dose of medicine this morning, since she was coughing yesterday. She went back to what she was doing, while I got breakfast ready. She followed along to eat. Sadi was sitting in the food room, waiting to eat as well. I got her cleaned up quick and let her get to work. When she was done, we went out to our spot. Sadi got brushed and Stormy sat by us for some love too. After a few minutes, she was ready to play with her shoe string. Sadi got to eat a little more once we were done.

Penny, Conroy, Jacob & Ricky

This morning I went to go get Jacob from the kitty area. Mader came to say hi. I found Jacob sleeping on his little bed in one of the rooms. He came wandering over and I said hi, then took him in by the others. We all went outside for their potty break. Ricky was hanging back at first, so I carried him out. They were all so excited! Jacob went out to the far end of the yard and did his business. Ricky kept running towards the front of the yard, to listen to people he could hear outside having their yard sale. Penny and Conroy were pretty much attached to me, wanting all the attention they could get! It started raining and thundering while we were out, so that kept everyone from wanting to leave the shelter of the patio. Little lady was so excited this morning, that it got her coughing pretty good. So, when we went in I got her a pill. I gave all the kiddos a treat too. We sat in the kitchen and everyone got plenty of attention. Jacob really likes me! He was dancing around all excited behind the table, so I called him over and held the other two off to the side. He came over and got pet and had his little tail wagging like crazy. So cute! Ricky would come over too, so I'd pick him up to keep him from getting stepped on. I stayed surrounded the whole time! This afternoon I let the kiddos outside when I arrived. Since the sun was out now, they were more willing to wander out to the grass. We hung outside for a little while, until they were starting to get warm. We went in to play for a bit. I grabbed a few toys from the basket to play with. Only Conroy was interested. He made me laugh, chasing the toy around with his mouth open! Haha. Ricky and Penny just wanted pets. Ricky kept trying to snuggle up in my lap, but would shy away since the other two were hogging my attention. He eventually curled up on his giant bed. Jacob was being all cute again too! He would come over, tail and heiny wiggling. Then, he'd give me a bunch of kisses, prance around and spin a couple of his circles. I let them all out again before I left for one more potty break. We had fun today. They're all such cutie pies!

Bradford, ZZ, Heighty, Sugar, Molly & Moody

This morning Moody came running to the door to see me. He started meowing at me again. He would run along ahead of me to plop down on the furniture and roll around. Silly kitty. I went out and filled the food bowls for the pups and they all came running. Heighty helped me fill water bowls again, while the others were busy eating. The boys were trying to share from the same bowl and ZZ wasn't happy about that! Haha. Bradford took the hint and found another dish. They all stopped by me to say hi for a little bit, in between bites. When I went back in, Moody was waiting on the couch. He followed me to his room and I got him some more food and cleaned his box. He sat on his shelf and watched me. Haha!

Piglet, Karma & Echo

This morning I walked in and didn't see anybody. I found Karma laying across the bed, and Piglet in the studio. The girls got up and headed outside with me. They both went potty quick. I got Karma to head to the path with me and she stopped to say hi to the neighbor pup. Once we got down the path a little ways, Karma stopped in her tracks. "Nope! Not going." I finally convinced her to come along. We took our walk and enjoyed the nice morning. Piglet was waiting on the patio when we returned. We headed inside and I got breakfast ready for the girls. Piglet took her medicine and went to lay behind the stove. Karma joined her in the living room. Someone had had a couple boo boos overnight, so I worked on cleaning that up. When I finished, I tried to get the ladies to come in and eat. No one was budging! Echo did come in and wanted her yummy breakfast. I sat in the living room and pet Karma for awhile. Before I left, I got them their snacks and told them I'd be back later. This evening Karma gave me a big bark when I opened the door. She and Piglet got up and we headed outside. Mom said they had been out this afternoon, so they peed for me and wanted back in. Karma and I chased outside a bit first. When we got in, Karma and I played fetch down the hall. Piglet got jealous and joined in for a few rounds too! Karma wanted belly scratches after that. I found some magic spots on Piglet too. She was literally laying her head in my lap and trying to reach a back paw up. Haha! She's such a sweetie. After we were done playing, I got the girls their dinner. They both ate all their food tonight. Yay!

Hudson, ZZ, Heighty, Sugar, Molly & Moody

Tonight I opened the door and Moody gave me a loud meow right away! He was sitting up on the counter. I got the pups some food and brought it outside. I started filling their dishes before anyone had come to see me. Their water was nearly gone, so I went to work on filling their bowls. Heighty and Hudson came along to keep me company. Heighty was so excited, she was bouncing up on her front end and crying. I filled up an extra bowl for them, since it was still pretty hot and humid outside. Hudson and Heighty followed me to the patio to say hi. Once they did, they went to go eat. All the little ones kept taking turns sharing from the same bowls. Molly and Sugar both had their own. ZZ wandered over after he had had some dinner to say hi. I went in to see Moody for a few minutes. He was meowing and being silly. I saw another big bowl inside, so I filled a smaller one with water for Moody and put the big one out for the dogs as well.

Piglet, Karma & Echo

This morning I spotted Karma laying in the living room when I walked in. I called her name, then she came running over to say hi! We went to look for Piglet, and found her snoozing in mom's studio. The girls came outside with me for a bit. It was raining earlier, but it had paused just long enough for my visit. Piglet went potty, then she followed Karma and I to the start of the path. I took Karma for a nice long walk. When we got to the end, we saw Piglet was still sitting at the start of the path, waiting for our return. So cute! Just as we got back, the rain was starting again, so the girls wanted to go in. As I walked inside, I saw Echo leaving the laundry room. I tried to get the girls to eat their breakfast, but they just went to lay in the living room. I sat in there with them and pet them for a little while. Piglet eventually wandered down the hall, probably to take a nap. This evening I came in and both girls were in the living room. I had them come outside with me and they both peed right away. I tried to get them to do the rest of their business, but they just wanted to go in. I got Karma to come out and play in the yard with me a little. Once we got in, I found out that they had been out several hours ago, so that explains why they didn't need to go! Haha. I got them their dinners and Piglet got her medicine. I bribed them with a cookie to come in the kitchen and check out their bowls. It worked for Piglet! She polished off her bowl withing a couple minutes. Karma was still missing mom, and not very hungry. Karma had grabbed her ball, so we tried to play fetch, except for the fact that she wasn't willing to give it up!
