Winston

Today Winston did a big stretch when he saw me. He wandered over to the door and I got his harness on. He went potty pretty quick today, so we deposited that and walked around awhile after. He made sure to check out all the bushes we passed by. We headed back after we got a nice walk in. He went right for his nylabone once he got his leash and harness off. He gnawed on that for a little bit. Next, he found his rope toy for me. He was having a blast playing tug! He was quite vocal about it today too. He made me laugh when he started doing his little bunny hops to pull backwards. I let go, then he looked at me like, "Wait, why'd you stop?! You're not done playing, are you?" We got a few throws in that he fetched for me as well. After he got tired from playing, he rolled around by me and got some belly rubs.

Eddie & Butler

This afternoon I let Eddie out and he followed me to Butler's bed. He kept pawing at me, while I was trying to apply Butler's spray. The boys and I headed outside when we were done. Butler was busy looking through the fence to see if anyone was outside. They spent a little while lounging on the patio. It was a hot one today, so they were in and out a lot to get a drink. They made sure to share every time too! Eddie would come over and put his wet beard on me. Haha! Eventually, they stayed inside where it was cool and lounged around.

Oscar

This afternoon my buddy met me at the door, crazy excited! He was wiggling around all happy. Oscar kept stopping me for some heiny scratches on our way to the door. We headed outside and he found a spot to lounge on the grass a bit. It was a hot one this afternoon. I tried to get him to play with some of his toys out there, but he wasn't too interested. He went to lounge out in the bushes in the landscaping for awhile too. Silly boy! He was ready to go in early today, since it was so warm. I got him some fresh water.  Then, we played with his yellow tug awhile!

Poppy, Pita & Simon

Today I walked in and saw that Simon had spotted me. Once he did, he raced to the bedroom to hide. Pita was laying on the bed and Papi was sitting by the table. Papi came running over to check me out. Once I passed the sniff test, she rubbed up against my leg. I got them their yummy snack right away. Since Simon was hiding, I put the plate by the bed and shut the door for awhile, hoping he would be brave enough to eat. I didn't want the other two to steal it either. Papi sat on the counter while I filled their cup with fresh water. She just sat and looked at the stream of water I left on for her. After I filled their other dishes and scooped their box, I went to sit in the living room. Pita came over and laid next to me. She was loving up some attention! She rolled around and enjoyed some pets. Papi finally joined us and I got her to play awhile as well. She made me laugh. She had crawled under the table to "hide" and watch the feather toy. I was moving it slowly across the room. Her eyes got all big and she'd slowly creep out towards it as I moved it away from her. If I stopped, she'd stop. Finally, she pounced! I had Pita's full attention too! Haha. Before I left, I opened the door back up for Simon. I guess that didn't work for today. Hopefully he'll build up some courage tomorrow to come see me!

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy came and meowed at me in the kitchen when I walked in. She went and sat under the table, while I went to water the plants outside. She ran along ahead of me, once I got their breakfast ready. Sadi was sitting in the food room already. Stormy went to town on her food, so I got Sadi her meds quick. She was pretty stuffy again this morning. I got her cleaned up and let her have some time to eat. She wasn't super interested at the moment, so we went to our spot instead. Stormy sat off in the distance to give herself a bath. Sadi loved up all of her brushing time, and gently rubbed her face on my knee. She purred away the whole time. I put her back by the food to eat again, since Stormy had hogged most of it! This evening Sadi was sleeping on the floor next to her bed. I woke her up for her medicine. She was a stuffy girl again tonight, but I got her all cleaned up. I put her back to bed when she was done. Stormy was lounging on a dining room chair. I stopped to say hi on my way out.

Sadi & Stormy

This evening Sadi was napping on the floor of the food room. I woke her up for her evening meds. She was pretty congested tonight. I made sure to give her her yellow medicine and tried to get out all I could for her. I put her in her bed when she was done. Stormy had wandered in to say hi just before I left.

Rusty & Ruby

Today I let Ruby out of her bed. Rusty was getting down from the couch to grab his ball and follow along. We headed outside for awhile. Ruby peed, then found a spot to roll around and have fun in the grass. Rusty laid out with his purple ball. They were lazy pups today! Both of them stayed out in the grass to lounge and soak up some sun. Since Ruby didn't do her number two business, she had to go back into her bed before I left.

Winston

This afternoon Winston was waiting by the gate for me. He followed along behind me to the front door, to get his leash on. We headed outside for a nice little walk. It was a toasty afternoon. We walked around a little while, then Winston spotted his other Corgi friend upstairs. They sat and huffed and puffed at each other! Haha. I guess they weren't close enough to worry about full blown barks to one another. Winston headed for the stairs when he was ready to go in. When we got home, he was being silly and sliding around on the floor. He hopped around on the furniture a bit to find a toy. He came back with a brown nylabone. I told him we can't play tug with that. But, today he was content just snuggling close for some pets and chewing on his bone.

Eddie & Butler

This afternoon Eddie got up in his bed to wait for me to open his door. He came running out and was sneaking kisses, while I tried to let Butler out. I sprayed Butler's chest and legs with his medicine. The boys headed out for some sunbathing afterwards. Eddie explored in the grass a bit and kept checking the holes in the yard for anything fun inside. Haha. Butler wandered in later on to cool down. Eddie eventually joined him, but came out again afterwards.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

This morning I got Cole up, then we went to get the other two. I let them all outside to play for awhile. The grass wasn't nearly as wet as it had been. I still wiped down their paws when it was time to go in. Everyone got their breakfast. The girls both finished up for me, then they had a couple more minutes to play. This afternoon, I had to call for Cole a few times before he came out to see me. He must have been napping. He did a big stretch in the hall, then wandered over. They all went out back to play. Sadie visited with the backyard neighbor's chihuahua at the fence. Zoie and Cole kind of hung out in the shaded area on the patio for most of the time. It was pretty hot out this afternoon, so eventually they wanted to go in to cool down. Cole got his medicine after we went inside. This evening, Cole met me at the door. He joined the other two and they all ran outside. It was still hot out this evening, so they did a lot of lounging around. Sadie wandered over and slathered me with kisses, while Cole was busy pawing at me for more pets. Zoie was sitting by the fountain, patrolling the yard. Anytime she'd see any people in the neighborhood, she'd let me know! When it was time to start heading in, Zoie was busy trying to figure out how to get both her frisbee and her bone in her mouth to carry them in. That was pretty entertaining to watch!
