This afternoon Rusty was hanging out on the recliner in the living room. He hopped down right away when he heard me. I let Ruby out, then we all went outside. Rusty was ready for some fetch as soon as he got out there. Ruby did her business, then came and sat with me for a little while. It was still a bit toasty out today, so after Rusty had played awhile, we headed inside to cool off.
This afternoon I let Eddie out and he was bouncing around being silly. Butler came out next, then the boys headed outside. Butler was a good boy and came over and even rolled to his side while I sprayed on his medicine quick. The boys explored around the yard a bit, before they laid around on the patio. Butler was pretty interested in something in the grass today. It was still pretty hot out this afternoon, so the boys went in to spend some time cooling off. Butler and I had fun chasing around inside a little as well.
This afternoon my buddy met me at the door. I scratched his heiny for a minute, then we made our way to the door. As we went along, he picked up his yellow loop toy and wanted to play. I guess someone was excited to see me! We tugged for a couple minutes, then went outside. He lounged around in the grass awhile in different spots. I got his frisbee out and threw it for him a couple times, but mostly he wanted to play tug or keep away! He's so silly. When we went in, I got him some fresh water and his yummy snack. He makes me laugh when he sprawls out on the ottoman!
Today Winston was ready for his walk! I let him out and we got him all hooked up. His little sniffer was working already as we headed down the stairs. It wasn't quite as hot out today, so we walked around a bit more than yesterday. After we deposited his doggie bag, we headed back home. He got his harness off and got into play mode right away. Today he wanted to play tug with his rope. He was trying to sound extra tough this time and his grrrrrs were loud and a bit, what I call snorkely. Haha! He was a good boy though, and every time I asked, he would drop it. Then, we got a little fetch in. Later, he was being silly. I found his itchy spot on his neck, so while I was itching that, he was rubbing the other side along the carpet. He was slinking around and when he got too far, he would switch sides and slide back over and push his nose under my hand to get me started again! He cracks me up!
This morning the pups were all excited when I got there. They all ran outside to do their business. I got Louie's food ready and had him come inside. He just wanted to go back out, so I put it up for now. Bella worked on some breakfast. Chico was on the table by me saying hi, which got Bella jealous, so she came running over too. Chico took that chance to go eat next. I left Louie his food to work on when it was time for the other two to go in. This afternoon, Bella and Chico went out. They laid in the grass a little and Louie came by me for a bit. A big bug was flying around the patio later on. That had Bella and Chico chasing after it and getting crazy excited! That was pretty funny. It wasn't as hot out this afternoon and there was a nice breeze, so Louie got to spend more time outside. I got everyone their snacks before I left. This evening Bella and Chico raced out for awhile. Louie came in and I tried to get him to eat. He just kept coming over and putting his paws on my arm to hang on. Silly boy. He and I went back outside for awhile, and all three pups spent some time exploring. It was really nice out tonight. Bella got all worked up when she heard a noise and the hair on her back was standing on end. I think it was just sounds from the game going on nearby. When it was time, I tucked them all in with a snack. I put Louie's food in with him in case he wanted to work on that more a little later on.
This morning the kiddos all ran outside. I got Louie's food ready and had him come in to try and eat. He was not really interested and was busy laying around or trying to make his bed in the corner comfy. Since he wasn't going to eat, I let him go back out and put it in the fridge for later. The pups were busy exploring this morning, and taking their turns eating. Chico was a sassy little man today! He kept hogging the food dish and getting upset at the other two if they came by. Eventually, he wanted my attention, so they got a turn. This afternoon, Bella and Chico got to go back outside and play. Bella was busy trying to get something that was on the other side of the fence. I'm not sure what it was, but she was sure worked up about it! She and Chico kept being sassy to each other, so I had to keep an eye on them and make sure they didn't get into trouble. It was very hot out this afternoon, so I had Louie come inside for the second half of the day. They all got their peanut butter yums to work on when it was time to go in. This evening I let them all outside again. After he had some time to do his business, I had Louie come in to try and work on his food again. It was cold, so I don't think he was liking that. I warmed it up a bit for him, and he did eat most of it, but I helped feed it to him. I was holding the bowl up for him and at one point out of nowhere, he jumped up and landed both paws in the bowl. Immediately after that, both paws went on my face! I guess I needed a tuna bath. Haha! That made me laugh so hard. When he was done, I cleaned up and let him go play a little longer. The pups all got a bedtime snack when it was time to go in.
This afternoon Eddie was excited to see me. I could barely grab onto the lock on Butler's cage to let him out! The boys both said hi, then went outside. They messed around a bit and lounged on the patio to get some sun. It didn't take long before they were inside cooling off, since it was pretty hot today! They spent just as much time lounging around inside the cool house this afternoon.
This evening I walked in and Stormy was sitting on the recliner. She gave me a couple meows as I went by. Sadi was sitting in the bedroom, looking out the window beside the bed. I took her to get her evening meds. Her nose was quite stuffed up tonight and even after I cleaned it she was a bit stuffy, so I gave the yellow pill in addition tonight. I put her back in her bed when she was done.
This afternoon Ruby was doing the potty dance in her bed. I let her out and she raced out and through the doggie door to go out. She didn't even wait for me today! I went to the front room to get lazy man, who was lounging in his chair. He hopped up, then I grabbed his purple ball as we headed out. I saw the newer red one on the way, so I grabbed that as well. I threw them both once we got outside. He didn't know which one to get first! The pups didn't stay out long today since it was so hot out. So, when they wanted, we headed in and I made sure they had enough water. They lounged in their front room awhile. Ruby was rolling around and being a goofball!
This afternoon Winston was sitting so cute in his little bed, patiently waiting for me to open the gate. We got his leash hooked up and we headed outside. We went for a little stroll, and he did his business like a good boy. We continued a little longer after that, but kept our walk a little on the shorter side today, since it was pretty toasty out! Once we got in, I took his harness off and he was ready to play. I looked around and found his rope toy. He of course, didn't want to play with that one! Haha. He ran around and found his little monster dude. We played tug almost the entire time with that. The poor guy nearly lost an appendage today. When it was time, I got Winston some more water in his room and a couple snacks. I love his cute bandana!
