Shadow

Shadow got to the door pretty quick today when he heard me come in. He followed me around and brushed up against my legs as I got his things ready. He helped me in the pantry to pick out his new can of food. He liked this one today and went right to work on it. After I cleaned his box, he was sitting on the back of the couch, waiting for me. He hopped down to get some attention. I had sat on the floor with him, so he was busy walking circles around me and getting pet. He stopped behind me today and snuck a love nibble on my back! I kept him in front of me after that. Haha! He was in a playful mood today. I got his feather toy out and he had a blast tackling it.

Taz & Clyde

This morning the boys were barking when they heard my car pull up. I met them at the door and we went right to the garage to get their gear on. It was a beautiful morning! We got a nice walk in first thing. There were plenty of other people and dogs out walking as well, so that kept them pretty excited. Once we got down by the pond, they took full advantage of their slack leashes and their sniffers were working overtime. I wondered what they had caught the scent of. Eventually, we headed back home. They got a last potty break outside, while I got them breakfast and fresh water.

Bella, Louie & Chico

This morning I let all the kiddos outside. Louie was bouncing all over the place! He sure does seem to be feeling much better.  While they played, I got his breakfast ready. I had him come inside and I waited while he cleaned out his bowl. After he finished, we joined the other two out back. Bella was happy to see me and kept trying to hop in my lap. Silly girl. They finally settled a bit and Bella and Chico took turns eating. This afternoon Bella and Chico got to play outside for a bit. They both wandered around and checked things out. I did have to scold them once because they were getting a little sassy with each other!  Haha. It was pretty hot out this afternoon, so I had Louie come inside as well to cool off a bit. He didn't have any objections. I got them all their peanut butter snacks for the afternoon. This evening the pups all zoomed out of their beds. I got Louie's dinner ready and he came in to finish that up. Back outside, Chico was busy eating some dinner as well. Bella wanted to hang out in the air conditioning. She kept peeking out the door, as if she was asking me to come join her. When it was time, everyone got tucked in their beds with a bedtime snack.

Taz & Clyde

This afternoon the boys met me at the door. I let them outside right away, while I went to get them their dental snacks. Taz took his to a comfy spot on the grass, while Clyde laid on the patio. After the boys finished, they got to relax and enjoy the beautiful afternoon for awhile. This evening, it was still a little light out when I got there. So, we got ready and went for our walk right away. I was hoping we could get at least a short one in before the popping of fireworks started. We did good! We got a long walk in before I heard anything. Once we did, we headed back home. There were some other dogs out walking as well, so that distracted Taz a little. I let them have one last potty break out back while I filled their water for the night.

Shadow & Lucy

Today I saw Shadow zoom off to the bedroom when I opened the door. Lucy was making her way to come see me. She meowed at me and Shadow rubbed against my legs in the kitchen, while I got their food ready. Today, Lucy came and sat outside the bathroom to supervise me cleaning their box. Haha! When Shadow was done snacking, he went to his spot to look out the window. Lucy was in her lovey mood for awhile today. So, she was busy rolling around by me, getting her chin scratches. She played for just a little today. Shadow came out to see what we were up to after awhile. They both hopped up on the couch when I opened their special snack jar. They were pretty excited!

Major & Boomer

This morning both boys were standing at the fence, watching for me to pull in. As I got closer, Boomer went galloping around the back to meet me inside! Major was coming in as well, by the time I walked in. The boys were dancing around excitedly, ready for their breakfast! After they finished, they both wandered outside. I saw Major had dug a small hole to keep his toy in while he was eating. He sniffed around for it and carried it away to go lounge in the grass. This evening Boomer was already inside when I got there. Major walked in when he heard me open the door. The boys both stood directly behind me and were crying excitedly while I scooped out their food. Boomer raced to his spot and was bouncing up and down. He could barely wait until I set his food down! When they were done, we went out back for a little bit. Major went to lay in the grass and enjoy the nice evening. Boomer hung around by me for a little attention.

Shadow

This morning Shadow was right at the door to see me. He was busy walking circles around my legs, while I got him some breakfast. He nibbled on that a little, so I went to check his box. When I returned, he was waiting for me in the living room. He came wandering over and purred away as he was pet. I tried to get him to play a little this morning. He wasn't really in the mood, but did swat at his feather toy a little. This evening I got in and started getting Shadow his dinner. He must have been napping. It took him a minute before he appeared. He sat on the back of the couch and watched me. After I was finished with his things, Shadow was ready for me. Tonight he got his pets in, then he was ready to play a little. He rolled around on the floor and would grab his toy as it came around. Later, he watched and then pounced on it! When he was done, he went to the kitchen to get a bite to eat.

Bella, Louie & Chico

This morning I let the kiddos all outside. They zoomed out one by one. I got Louie's breakfast ready, so I had an audience in the kitchen. Haha. Eventually, I got them all to go out and play again. Bella and Chico explored awhile, then came over for some attention. When it was time, those two went in so Louie could eat. He didn't seem to crazy about his breakfast, and only snacked on it. This afternoon Bella and Chico joined Louie outside again. They nibbled on some food and just played around. Bella lounged in the grass awhile and enjoyed the warm sunshine. When they went back in, I got all three pups their peanut butter snacks. This evening it was time for their last potty break. As I was getting Louie's dinner ready, I noticed a little face peeking at me! Chico had hopped up on the couch and was looking at me over the counter. Haha! Louie came in to eat while the other two got some time outside. He wolfed down his food this time!

This afternoon Bella and Chico were so crazy excited when I finally got to see them. They heard us outside the whole time, so I'm sure they were anticipating someone to come inside. They ran out and joined Louie for awhile. I refilled their water jug while they played. When it was time, I let Bella and Chico back inside and put them to bed. This evening I got Louie his dinner and let him be inside to eat that, while Bella and Chico got a potty break. Louie lounged in the living room for a bit when he finished eating. At bedtime, I got all the kiddos a couple treats to snack on.

Shadow

Tonight I walked in and Shadow met me in the kitchen. He started rubbing up against my legs while I read my notes and got his dinner ready. Next, I went to check his box and he tagged along. We sat in the living room for awhile when I was done. He wasn't in much of a playful mood, just wanted some love. I pet him for awhile. I caught him just in time when he wanted to give me a little love nibble on my knee. Haha. As I was leaving, he finally went to go eat his dinner.
