Oscar

This afternoon Oscar's little nose was right at the door as I opened it. He got all excited when he saw it was someone new! He bounced along with me to the kitchen. I read mom's note quick, then we headed outside. Oscar ran to go grab a toy as soon as he got out there. He let me chase him around a bit, since he didn't want to give it up! Finally I snuck it away from him and threw it for him. But, he just looked at me. "Now what?" Haha. He decided he was going to roll around on the grass and find a place to sunbathe for awhile instead. He wandered around the yard after that, to see what was going on in the neighborhood. Later on, we headed in and I got him a couple treats. He did a few tricks for me too. What a good boy!

Sadi & Stormy

This evening Sadi was sleeping soundly in her bed. I woke her up to give her her evening medicine. She got all cleaned up, then I set her by the food and water, while I scooped their box quick. I didn't see Stormy in the living room or on her dining chairs, so I think she may have been relaxing out on the patio tonight.

Wyatt, Sara & the kitties

This morning I came in and saw Bandit sitting in the living room. I opened the bedroom door to let the pups into the rest of the house. It was raining outside, so I figured they were probably where it was nice and dry anyways. Sara crawled out from under the bed. Wyatt had the whole bed to himself! They came out and helped me get their breakfast ready. As I was walking towards the garage door, I noticed a dark, string - shaped thing on the carpet. I had the lights off, so I went to turn it on quick. It was a little snake! Luckily, it was not alive, so I took it back outside. I guess the kitties had some fun overnight! This time when I went towards the door again, I saw Shadow peeking through the kitty door at me. He stopped in his tracks, then backed up to go hide. He stopped when I called his name, then decided he'd come over for a quick pet instead. Everyone got their breakfast, and Wyatt got his medicine. This evening I saw Wyatt was lounging on the patio, sunbathing. He popped right up when he heard me, then they both came inside. I checked on Amber in the office. She was sitting on her chair, as usual. She let out a little meow at me each time I came in. Next, I got the pups their dinner. They seemed pretty excited about it! When they finished and I was done cleaning up the dishes, we sat in the living room. The pups took turns getting some attention. That, or more like they took turns shoving the other out of the way to get all my attention to themselves! Haha. Silly kids. They got their treats when it was time to go back to their area. I haven't seen Gracee yet, but I keep trying to look around for her. She must have a good hiding spot in the garage.

Eddie & Butler

This afternoon I let Eddie out when I arrived. He got crazy excited once he was out! He was bouncing all over the place and was trying to get my attention while I was trying to open Butler's crate. That made me laugh. The boys both jumped around excitedly for a bit. I walked out with them to get them to go outside, instead of worrying about me! Haha. I went back in so they would do their business. They did, then the boys came in to get a drink and get some more attention. Eddie sat right on my feet and was happy for some chest and back scratches. Butler was being silly and climbing around on the couch. Once they settled down a bit, they went out again. They explored a little, then laid on the patio to soak up some sun. When it was time to go to bed, Eddie was good and went right in. He was laying in there a couple times on his own anyways. Butler, on the other hand... well he just wanted to play! He finally did go in though. Little goober!

Rusty, Ruby & the kitties

This afternoon Rusty met me in the kitchen as I went to go let Ruby out. We all headed outside. Rusty plopped down in the grass and Ruby kept him company a little while. She eventually wandered off to explore, before going back inside. Rusty wasn't up for playing today. He was content just lounging around. He, too, headed in after a bit. I found them both in the front room, just relaxing and looking out the window.

This morning I let Wyatt and Sarah in the kitchen, while I got everyone's breakfast ready. Wyatt got his medicine as well. The pups ate their food, then hung out in the living room. I went to check on Amber and clean the litter boxes. As I was cleaning the ones in the closet, I noticed Tux was hiding up on a box above my head. He sat there quietly, hoping I wouldn't notice. Haha. As I was closing the door, Shadow peeked out at me from the window sill. He quickly ran off to hide elsewhere. When it was time, Wyatt and Sarah returned outside. This evening Bandit was sitting on the kitty tower again. Tux zoomed out from the garage to go hide. As I was preparing the dog's dinners, Shadow crawled out from the kitchen window sill. He meowed at me, then walked over for a few pets. After everyone was taken care of, I sat in the living room awhile with Wyatt and Sarah. They were happy for some attention. Wyatt sat down at my feet with his back to me, enjoying his back scratches. Later, they got their treats and headed out back again.

Bella, Louie & Chico

This morning I let all the pups outside. Louie came bouncing out of his bed. He was a happy guy this morning! I got his breakfast ready, and Bella and Chico made sure to watch in case I dropped anything. Louie was hopping around and jumping and running in circles when I brought his plate out! He wasn't super hungry again this morning. He ate some, then was more interested in exploring around the yard. Bella and Chico checked the patio for any scraps he may have left behind. I put his food in the fridge to try again later. This afternoon Bella, Louie and Chico all ran inside the house when I opened the door. They've been so good! I let Louie try to work on his food again, and again he licked his plate clean. The other two got to join him outside again once he was done. Chico sat in my lap for a little attention, while Bella was working on snacking. They all tried to go inside when I was leaving. They looked at me so confused haha!

This morning the house felt like it had cooled off some overnight. I let all the kiddos outside and opened up some windows to try & cool it down some more. I got Louie ' s breakfast ready and had the other two come inside so he could eat. He nibbled on some of it, but wasn't super interested. I gave him extra time and tried to get him to eat more, but he wandered off instead. I put it up for now. Bella and Chico were happy to get outside and play. They worked on some breakfast just before I left. This afternoon I gave Louie another shot at his food. This time he just about finished it all. I let the other two back outside once he was done. Chico kept trying to hop into my lap to snuggle. Bella ate more of her food, then was busy exploring. This evening Bella and Chico ran inside when I opened the door. They laid in the kitchen while I got Louie ' s dinner ready. He scarfed that down pretty quick this evening. I let the pups all run around outside for awhile after he was done. When it was time, I tucked them all in their beds and got them their peanut butter snacks.

This evening I spotted Shadow as I walked in the door. He quickly disappeared when he saw me! Bandit was lounging on the kitty tower in the living room. I let the pups in, while I got them their dinners. They both followed along wherever I went. Wyatt, of course, polished his bowl off pretty quick. Sarah wasn't too far behind him though. I got them each a cookie once they were done. I made sure all the kitties had plenty of food and water. Amber was lounging on a chair in the office, and just watched as I went to refill her bowls. I checked on the dog's water buckets and got Shadow a fresh glass of ice water for the night. Sarah wasn't too thrilled about going back outside for me, but she did go like a good girl. She sat and complained at the back door though!

Oreo & Stuffs

This evening Oreo was running down the stairs, while Stuffy was already sitting in the dining room. Oreo met me in the kitchen, ready to eat. The boys were both sitting in the living room, staring at me as I walked in. Haha! Oreo laid on one side of me, while Stuffy laid on the other. They kept me busy giving them both chin scratches and pets, while they purred away. The boys loved up every minute. They will be happy to have mom and dad home soon!
