Oreo & Stuffs

I came to visit the boys a little earlier today. Oreo came running down the stairs to meet me, as usual! He did his thing in the kitchen, rolling around and rubbing his chin on my leg. After I finished with their other things, Oreo was ready for his attention time. He laid up next to me and purred away. Oreo would move around to make sure I got all the good spots. Eventually, it was time to go find Stuffy. He was upstairs, just lounging in a random spot. I came to sit by him and he rolled to his side right away. He was enjoying some belly rubs!

This afternoon I think a rain cloud passed through right before I arrived. I came in and saw that the girls were out back. I let them in, then went to find Gracie. She was hiding under the bed, but when she crawled out she realized it was me. She got all excited and started her heiny wag. I let her out potty quick, then she wanted back in for some attention. We sat in the living room and she got all crazy happy. She was walking back and forth under my legs and trying to hop in my lap! haha. She finally calmed down a little and sat next to me for some pets. Charlie and Henry both wandered in by us and wanted some love too! That made her a little jealous, so she kept walking in between the kitties and I. "Pay no mind to them... feel free to pet me though!!" I let Gracie spend the afternoon outside since it was nice out. This evening Gracie went running to the back door when she saw me head for the garage. I let her in and she was just ridiculously excited!! I think that's the bounciest I've ever seen her. Haha! She was running in place several times since the floor was slippery, was bouncing around, then trying to get the other pets all riled up. I went out and got their dinners, since Emma didn't want to go out for me yet. Molly didn't want to get up from her spot either, so I fed her in the bedroom. By the time they all finished, the older gals were ready to go out. Gracie sat with me and kept running under my legs again and again. She cracks me up! I let Gracie out again once more before it was time for bed.

This evening I heard Oreo running down the stairs when I walked in. He was waiting for me in the kitchen. Oreo laid on the floor and purred while I got his dinner ready tonight. He met me in our spot afterwards and continued to purr away. He laid next to me and rubbed his chin on my leg or my hands, making sure to get all his spots. He must have worked up an appetite! Oreo got up after a little while to go snack. While he was eating again, I went to go see Stuffs. He was curled up at the top of the stairs, just sitting there. I went and sat with him to give him some attention. He was loving it up today as well! He rolled to his side and had me scratch his chin and his tummy. When he was done, I went back downstairs and Oreo was following me around again. I sat with him longer for round two of lovins! He laid on his side as well and made some imaginary "kitty biscuits" with his front paws. Silly boy!

Today Ruby came racing outside to the gate to see who was here. She let out a bark until she saw it was me. She came back inside with me to get Rusty. He was busy searching for his ball. When he found it, we headed back out. Ruby wandered around, then lounged on the patio for a little while. She then went in to snuggle on her couch. Lance had come outside with us today as well. He and Rusty were both exploring the yard. Lance found a shady spot in the grass to sprawl out. Later, he was busy chasing after bugs. Rusty eventually brought me his ball and we played a long game of fetch.

This evening Oreo was peering down at me from the top of the stairs. He would walk a little bit, stick his head through the railing and give me a meow. Then, he would continue and do it again. He's so funny. He met me in the kitchen as usual. He went to town on his food, while I cleaned their box. The boys were both sitting in the entryway when I was done. They followed along to our spot in the living room. The boys laid on either side of me for some attention. Even Stuffy wanted some love today! Usually he sits just out of reach, but today he sat right next to me. I had both hands busy, giving them their chin scratches. When they were done, they each wandered off and took a turn to snack.

This afternoon, Rusty and Ruby joined me outside when I arrived. It was a pretty uneventful day for them. They both plopped down in a sunny spot in the grass. Even Ruby rolled around today! They rolled, then got comfy and soaked up some sun. They did that pretty much the whole time. We headed in so I could make sure they had enough water. I spotted Lance snoozing away on the guest bed. It was a nap kinda day!

This evening Oreo came around the corner just as I was walking into the kitchen. He itched his face on my leg, then was ready to eat when I set the plates down. He came running in to see me when I had finished with their other things. Oreo laid up next to me and purred away. He was happy for some attention. Oreo would tilt his head backwards to look up at me, almost as if he was giving his approval. He enjoyed a long time of pampering. When he had his fill, I went to find where Stuffy was. He was snuggled up in his chair, looking all comfy. I sat with him awhile as well. He too was happy for some scratches, and just closed his eyes and purred.

This afternoon the pups and I headed outside when I arrived. Rusty was busy sniffing around at the grass and trees for awhile. Ruby lounged around on the patio. I later realized she stayed out so long because the doggie door was shut. Haha. Rusty roamed around, then laid in the grass with his ball. He didn't seem to be too interested in fetch today. He brought me his ball only a couple times to throw for him. He was just enjoying the nice day!

This evening I came in and got to the kitchen, then I heard somebody coming down the stairs. It was Oreo! He came and loved on me a little while I got him some dinner. Oreo met me in our spot and snuggled up next to me. He enjoyed his attention for awhile. A butterfly floating by the window captured his attention. He quickly sat up and watched it flutter away. I got out the little laser light after that and had him chasing that around a bit. It didn't take long before he pooped out! Haha. He wanted more chin scratches after that. Later, I headed upstairs to find Mr. Stuffs, since he hadn't come down. He got his share of chin scratches too.

This afternoon Ruby zoomed out of her bed and raced for the back door. We headed outside with Rusty along behind us. Ruby hung around outside a little while today, then she ran in to take her nap on the couch. I didn't see Mr. Lance at all this afternoon, so he must have been out exploring. Rusty and I got a good game of fetch in. It was a bit warmer out today, so it didn't take him long to get tired. He took a few breaks between throws, then eventually we went in so he could cool down.
