Taz & Clyde

This afternoon the boys barked when they heard the door open. They saw it was me, then the tails started wagging. I went to get them each a cookie, then we headed outside. The boys sat nicely, then took their treats to eat elsewhere. It only took them a second to finish those, so they spent most of their time exploring. I would occasionally see Taz looking at me from the other side of the bushes. Haha! Clyde was happy to get his heiny scratches. Later, they got their paws cleaned up, then we headed inside. This evening it was quite slippery outside. We had some freezing drizzle going on. I came in and gave the boys their dinners. After Clyde was done, he was hanging out by me. Then, all of a sudden, they were freaking out about something. They were running to the front door and barking. We decided to pass on the walk tonight, so I let them out back. We could hear some people yelling and arguing, so that must be what they were worked up about. They spent awhile out there, roaming around. When it was time, they got cleaned up and came in for a bedtime snack.

Hudson, Zel, Gabbie & Blackie

This morning Black was up and ready to say hi when I walked in. I let the little ones out and they had their puppy parade down the stairs. Haha! They all went out for their morning potty break. It was somewhat warmer out this morning, but sort of misty out. The girls didn't take long and wanted back in right away. Everyone lined up at their dishes for breakfast. They all finished pretty quick this morning. Zel went back to gnawing on her bone, while the others sat with me. I had them all go out for another potty break when Zel was sitting by the door. They came in and we visited a bit longer. The girls made me laugh because they burrowed under the blanket on the couch. I think they weren't wanting to share, since they were grumbling at each other under there! Hudson sat right up next to them. He was supervising! This evening Blackie was ready to go outside. He was hopping along behind me to get the other pups. They took quick potty breaks tonight, since it was drizzling out. Blackie was a little spunky tonight too! He was running around outside, then when he came in he was all trying to crawl up in my lap like the little dogs! Everyone ate their dinners, then we had some play time inside before bed.

Hudson, Gabby, Zel & Blackie

This evening Black was right at the door to greet me. He walked me to the stairs,  while I went up to let the little ones out. I took them all outside, one by one. They all did their business. Then, it was time to come in and eat! I filled everyone's bowls as they lined up. Hudson did well and didn't try to steal anyone's dinner. Gabby was last to finish tonight. Hudson had to check out all the bowls when they were finished, for any leftovers. We sat in the living room for awhile. Zel worked on her bone, while the others were trying to get my attention. I had Gabby and Hudson both in my lap and Black in front of me. Later, they all went out again once more before bed.

Rusty, Ruby & the kitties

Today Rusty came wiggling over to see me. Ruby got out of her bed and raced around the house. She took off down the hall and to the front room, then finally was ready to go outside. It wasn't quite as chilly out today, so the pups spent some time outside. They were busy exploring for awhile. We headed in and went to go visit Mr. Kitty. He hopped up in my lap and snuggled for a bit, purring away. He soon was ready to play! I got out his mouse toy and he was jumping all over the place. When he was getting tired, it was Rusty's turn to play. We headed outside and played some fetch.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

Tonight Sadie and Zoie met me in the laundry room, as usual. I let Sadie outside quick. Zoie was busy following me and grumbling, while she was carrying around her toys. She makes me laugh. Cole was excited to go out next as he bounced around the living room. Everyone came back inside to eat their dinners. Sadie finished hers, as well as her leftovers from breakfast. When she was done, she went and plopped on the living room floor, showing me her belly. She was ready for her tummy scratches! Zoie just sat in front of me with her toy collection. Cole joined us later. Sadie always gets so jealous when I give him his heiny scratches. After one more potty break, I tucked them all in for the night.

Rusty, Ruby & the kitties

Today I let Ruby out, then Rusty appeared from somewhere to say hi. They went outside quick to do their business. It sure was cold out today! Rusty and Ruby both headed in when they were done. They snuggled up on the couch by me to warm up. Little Lance was ready to play! He was zooming around and having a blast. Ruby got a little spunky too and was hopping up and down from the couch and running circles around the living room. Rusty got into it too and then he and Ruby were wrestling around, being silly. I took Rusty out later to get a short game of fetch in, since it was so cold today.

Hope & Tag

Today Hope gave me a big bear hug when I walked in the door. The pups went on ahead of me to wait at the back door. Hope's little pals were outside next door while we were today. She went to say hi, then came back for some more attention. When she got bored with me, she ran over to go pick on Tag. She sure loves him! She was all up in his face, being playful. He got tired of that after awhile and had to scold her a bit. And just like a teenager, of course, she didn't listen! Haha. She left him alone after a few minutes and they both did some exploring. We didn't stay out quite as long today, since it was the coldest day yet! They came inside to warm up and get their snacks.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

This evening the pups were all excited to see me. I let Sadie out right away, then went to get Cole up from his nap. It took him a little bit of coaxing to get him outside. Zoie went out for her turn too, then I got them their dinners and allergy pills. Cole took quite awhile to finish up tonight. Sadie and I played in the living room. She rolled around on the floor, then would sneak her kisses. She was happy for some tummy scratches! Zoie ran over and was wanting to play with her tennis ball. I had a laugh when Sadie was lying on the floor and Zoie was playfully pushing the ball against her forehead. Haha! Then, Zoie came and did the same thing to my hand. I actually got the ball from her a couple times and we played a little fetch.

Rusty, Ruby & the kitties

Today Rusty came into the laundry room to say hi, heiny wiggling away! I let miss Ruby out, then they went outside. She had a boo boo in her bed, so I cleaned that up quick. I went out to play fetch with Rusty, but he was busy exploring. Back inside, Lance decided to come give me some company. He curled up on my lap for awhile. Rusty and Ruby snuggled up next to us. It didn't take long before Lance was nibbling on my fingers and getting in his play mode! I got out his mouse toy and had him playing with that for awhile. Later, I took Rusty back outside and we got a couple throws in, before he got distracted.

Hope & Tag

Today both Hope and Tag greeted me at the front door. We headed to the back to go outside right away. Miss Hope saw her friends were outside already, so she ran to the fence to say hi. Tag came up to me to be pet quick, before he ran off to explore. It sure was chilly today! The sun at least gave a little warmth. The pups didn't seem to mind at all! We stayed out almost the whole time while they played. Hope chased after Tag to wrestle with him a bit, but mostly she stayed by the fence to play with her friends. When we got back inside, they lined up and sat nicely for their treats.
