Sadie, Zoie & Cole

Tonight I could hear Zoie barking inside the house when I pulled up. Sadie & Zoie met me inside the laundry room. Those two were eager to go outside to do their business. I had to go looking for Cole. He must have been napping in his bed. He went out to do his thing too, then I got them all their dinner. Everyone finished up pretty quick. Zoie was gathering her toys and playing keep away again. She finally relaxed and laid on her bed. But if I even glanced at her, she'd quickly grab everything and get prepared to run. Haha! Sadie sat in front of me and gave me her kisses the whole time. I got them all tucked in bed with their snacks when it was time.

RJ, Chipper & Keaton

Today the boys gathered outside at the gate when I pulled up. They announced my arrival, then lined up in the garage to greet me. After a few minutes, we headed out back. They did their business, then came back inside to eat a bit. Later, I got them their rawhide snacks to work on. RJ wasn't too worried about his. He just wanted attention! He put his paws on my legs to stand up closer to me. Chipper and Keaton laid on opposite ends of the rug to work on theirs. Then, all of a sudden, they started to get into it. I jumped up and got them separated immediately. I sent RJ and Chipper outside to calm down for a minute. I took away all the rawhides, so they wouldn't get upset again. Everyone was fine after that and started to work on dinner again. I refilled their bowls and got them some fresh water.

Rusty, Ruby & the kitties

Today I came in and Rusty met me at the door, while I was taking off my shoes. I let Ruby out and she was hopping and zooming around, being silly! We headed outside and she continued to run around and play. Rusty brought me his ball and we got our game of fetch in. He kept playing until the ball landed in some leaves. He just kept looking at it, like he didn't want to stick his nose in there to grab it. So, we headed back inside. Lance was in the laundry room, pawing on the rug. He meowed at me, then raced ahead to the living area. Ruby was standing by her dish looking at me, like maybe it was time to eat! I told her she had to wait till mom comes home. She and Rusty snuggled up on the couch next to me, while Lance and I played for awhile. He was being silly today too. He would hide between the chair and the table leaning against it, then would jump out and pounce on the mouse!

Hope & Tag

Today Hope greeted me at the door. She was running circles around me, so I could barely walk to the back door! Eventually we got there and we all headed outside. Hope stayed by me for some attention at first. Tag even came up to be pet today! I think he has finally accepted me. Hope heard the neighbor pups come outside, so she raced to the fence to see them. Everyone was barking at each other at one point. That got Hope all riled up! She started zooming around the yard, running circles around Tag. He knew just to stand still in one spot. Haha. When it was time, we headed inside. I didn't even have to bribe Tag this time! He came right in with me. I got them each a snack for being so good. Tag held up one paw to "shake" for his snack. That was pretty neat!

Sadie & Stormy

This morning I got breakfast ready for the girls when I arrived. I took it to their room. I saw they were both snuggled on mom's bed on this snowy morning. Once I got their stuff refreshed and Sadi ' s meds ready, I woke her up. I didn't do her eye ointment today since it was Tuesday. She took her other medicines well and her nose looked good today. Next, we went to our spot out in the living room. She sat and purred away while I brushed her. Miss Stormy even came out to see me today! She wanted some love too. She sat next to me to be pet and have her chin scratched. When it was time, I took Sadi back in by the food to eat.

Tonight the kiddos met me in the laundry room when I arrived. Sadie was sure happy to see me! I let Sadie and Cole outside right away to do their business. They came in and Zoie went out, while I got their dinner ready. Zoie returned and went right to the living room to collect her toys! She stuffed her ball and bone in her mouth, then played her keep away game. I had them all work on their dinners and then Sadie and Cole also got their medicine. We sat in the living room when they were done. Sadie was busy giving me lots of kisses! Cole was happy to get lots of heiny scratches. And miss Zoie was busy just keeping her toys away from me. Haha. Everyone got one more potty break before bedtime and their night time snacks.

Rusty, Ruby & the kitties

Today Ruby barked when I first walked in. I said hi back, then made my way to let her out. Rusty was busy searching for his red ball. We all headed outside for a bit so they could go potty. If that is Justin that has returned, I think he got a little sassy while he was away! He was putting his head down and chasing the others around the yard for awhile. Eventually he calmed down and was eating hay next to Chloe. Ruby did her business outside, then zoomed in the house. I was still out with Rusty when she came back out because she had to go again. Silly girl! Rusty wasn't bringing me his ball, so I went in to visit. Lance was in the kitchen walking ahead of me, being silly. He and I played with his mouse toy a little. I tried to keep his jumping to a minimum as much as possible. Miss Ruby and Mr. Rusty were tired kiddos today! Rusty curled up in a chair in the old living area and Ruby curled up on her couch for a nap. Later, we all went out again so they could get another potty break in, and so Rusty could play some fetch.

RJ, Chipper & Keaton

Today the boys all lined up in the garage when I arrived. They followed me to the kitchen, while I read mom's notes. Afterwards, we headed outside. Keaton and Chipper were arguing a little, so I had them try and calm down before we went out. RJ and Chipper went exploring out in the yard. Keaton stayed close to me, then he kept taking off to bark at something in the other yards. Later, we headed in and I got them each a treat. They all sat nicely for me. After I filled their food dishes, I got them all a rawhide. It was like musical treats! They kept stealing from each other and switching bones. Finally, they all settled in a spot to work on them. RJ came over to visit me for some attention. Keaton got upset about that, because he got close to his bone and growled a bit. So, I put all the bones up before I left, just in case. They all followed me to the garage to say goodbye.

Carson, Sammy & Bella

This morning Sammy was dancing around in the dog room when I arrived. I let her outside in back and got her some breakfast and fresh water. Next, Carson and Gracie went out in their area. Gracie made sure to stop and say hi! I made sure they had some water outside, then went to check on Bella. She purred and pranced around by my legs. When I was done, Angus went out for his break. He wandered around outside the longest. When he was tucked back into bed, I brought Sammy back in and got them all some treats. This evening Sammy was ready to go outside. I let her out back and made sure she had water that wasn't frozen. Angus went outside first, then came in to work on his dinner. I gave him his joint support pill as well. The other two went out before they got theirs as well. It took them a minute to figure out which bed to go to. They both went in Gracie' s at first! After everyone polished off their bowls, they all went out for another potty break. All the pups got another treat before bedtime.

Jerrie & Kimmie

Today I saw Kimmie was lounging at the top of her tower. I went in and took care of their things quick. Jer-bear was snuggled up on the couch. I pet him a bit, then headed to their room. Since Jerrie didn't follow at first, I went to pet Kimmie. She was in a sassy play mode today! She instantly started swatting at my fingers. Haha! She rolled around and tucked her head down, then would throw a paw out at me. Eventually, I could tell she was done. She gave me "the look". I went back out to see Jerrie, then he came to sit with me. He laid down and was happy to be pet and brushed until it was time to go.
