Today I came in and let Miss Ruby out of her bed. Lance heard us and came following along. I think Rusty was either napping or looking for his ball! It took me a few calls before he came running. The pups went outside and did their business. Ruby hung out on the porch for a bit, while Rusty and I got some fetch in. He did a little exploring too, then he carried his ball and headed inside. Ruby was all snuggled in her spot on the couch. I found Lance's toy and we played for awhile. He makes me laugh. He was jumping and pouncing, and just having a blast! Rusty sat with Ruby and I, until he decided he wanted to play too. He dropped his ball in my lap. We went outside to get a few more throws in.

Murdy & Charlie
Today we had very strong wind gusts. When I got inside, both boys came running down the hall to see me. I went to take care of their things quick, then we sat in the living room. You could hear the wind howling and whistling outside. That had the boys busy! Murdy was racing from window to window, trying to chase after the leaves that were flying around. He would sit and paw at the window. Charlie chased after his mouse toy with me. The wind would whistle outside, then he would race to the front door, looking a little confused. I'm not sure what he thought that was! Once Murdy ran down the hall with him, then they wrestled around on their way back.

Murdy & Charlie
Today the boys both greeted me when I came in. Charlie started rolling around on the floor in front of me. I scooped him up and he snuggled with me for a minute. Murdy sat on the counter, waiting for his turn. I took care of their things, then went to our spot. Charlie helped supervise, by sitting on my shoulder, while I picked up kibbles around their food dish. In the living room, Charlie got to work immediately, chasing after his mouse. Murdy sat next to me awhile again today. Then, he got a playful spurt too. He was playing with a mouse toy in the kitchen. Charlie, of course, had to go investigate. He returned to chase and pounce on his mouse string after he saw Murdy had taken over his spot.

Murdy & Charlie
Today Murdy was already at the door when I came in. Charlie meowed from the kitchen and met me half way there. The boys hopped on the counter and both rested their noses against my cheek. So sweet! I pet them for a bit, then went to take care of their things. They must have been hungry boys yesterday! They had polished off their food dish. I got them some food and water, then Murdy got started on eating. I scooped their box, then headed to the living room. Charlie was just in a playful mood today. He was ready to play! He chased after his toys, up down and all over the place. Murdy came and sat next to me to watch. Then, he pounced on his brother! They went zooming around the house, chasing after each other. Charlie came back and sat on my shoulders for a bit. Then, it was back to play time. He did the little wiggle butt pose before he'd attack his toys! He's so silly.

Mimi & Diego
This morning there was a lot of commotion at the house. The babies both came over to the gate, happily wiggling their heinies at me. I scooped them up and took them outside. They both did their business like good puppies! We headed back upstairs into their room. I gave them some treats, which Mimi helped herself to, because Diego didn't want his. I sat on the floor by them and Mimi crawled her way into my lap and burrowed herself in my sleeve. She sat there the whole time. Diego was snuggled in his covers, busy watching the people going up and down the stairs.
Murdy & Charlie
Today when I walked in, Murdy was sitting on the stairs. He did a big stretch, then followed me to the kitchen. Charlie heard us and came running. He sure has gotten big since the last time I saw him! He kept meowing at me and made me laugh. I cleaned out their box and got them some fresh food and water. Then, we headed to the living room. I got out a couple toys and Charlie got busy playing. Murdy sat on the footstool and watched from above. Charlie was a crazy little man today! I don't think he sat still for more than two consecutive seconds. He was chasing after the mouse toy, running, jumping and pouncing on it. In between his attacks, he would run over and rub against me. His little motor was just running nonstop. Later, Murdy decided to join in and tackled his brother. They wrestled around for awhile. When Charlie was finished, he came and perched himself on my shoulder. He sat and rubbed his face on my cheek for awhile. He's so sweet!

Mimi & Diego
Earlier today, I walked in and heard Mimi and Diego barking upstairs. I came up and they stopped and began wiggling their tails. They were happy to see me! I picked them up and carried them outside. They both did their business, then they made their way to the door. We went back upstairs, where I got them a treat. Diego, of course, passed up on his. So Mimi happily enjoyed his snack as well. Mimi came and snuggled up in my arms for a bit. Diego was comfy in his covers. Mimi joined him after a bit and they both took a snooze. This evening I walked up the stairs and saw little Diego, standing on his hind legs, peeking to see who was coming. They both came to me to be picked up. We headed outside and they did their thing. This time, Diego took his treat and ate it. Mimi enjoyed some snuggle time again, then they both curled up on their bed together. They decided to take a little nap again, while I was there.
Sophie & Roxy
Today the girls must have been on their way to the gate to see me. Once I opened the back door, they came running from the front of the house. I wiped paws off, then they came inside. After I got them some food, they came in the living room with me. Sophie and Roxy piled on my lap, as usual. They were sneaking their kisses and busy rolling around on my lap. The girls ran to go eat some food, then came back for some more attention. They must have not eaten it all, because after a few minutes, they went back to finish it off. The ladies sat nicely to get their cookies, then took them to a spot on the rug. Roxy took some time to lounge on mom and dad's bed for awhile. Sophie took that time to snuggle up on my lap. They will be happy to see their parents soon!
Sadi & Stormy
Today I got the girl's food ready when I arrived. I started to take it to their room. Then, I saw both the girls were snoozing on mom's bed. Stormy sat right up and hopped down to go get her some grub. I took Sadi in the bathroom to give her her medicine. She took off to go to our spot, after I had set her in by the food. She enjoyed her brushing for a little bit. But then, she kept scooting away and sitting out of reach. She was just content to have my company today. Stormy came in by us and walked by, rubbing up against my back. Then, she laid down by the box on the floor. She was sure in a playful mood today! Stormy laid on her side and started playing with the box, pawing at it like crazy. Then suddenly, she shot up and zoomed off to another room. When she returned, she walked in casually, like nothing had happened. Haha! Later, I got her to play with her mouse a bit too. I took Sadi back in their room before I left, and she ate for me. She didn't want to use her box at that time.

Sophie & Roxy
Today it was supposed to warm up for us quite a bit. When I arrived, the girls climbed out of their house to come inside. The bounced around me, happy to see me again. I filled their dishes, then we went to the living room. They both hopped up as usual. This time, they were climbing all over each other on top of me! Roxy was laying across my lap and Sophie was sitting on top of her. They squirmed around and gave me their kisses. The girls took their break to go polish off their food bowls. They came racing back to jump in my lap again. The girls sure crack me up! The cute ladies enjoyed themselves a cookie in the living room. Sophie came and curled up on my lap for a bit when she was done, and Roxy sat on the arm of the couch. She was searching the walls and ceilings for any suspiciously moving lights.
