Giblet & the kitties

This morning there was quite a bit more snow on the ground. I came in and let Giblet out right away. She hopped around in the snow and checked things out, before coming inside. I got her and the kitties their breakfast. Oreo came and warmed up my lap for me, as I scratched Giblet's belly. Giblet went to play outside again for awhile before I left. This afternoon, Gibs met me at the door, carrying her teddy and wiggling her heiny! She went outside and the kitties made their way to the living room. Skylar wandered over to be pet a little. Oreo and Xavier messed around after Gibs came back in. Giblet went from spot to spot, laying and rolling around. She would come over and snuggle up to me now and then for her tummy rubs. This evening Gibs came to the front hall, carrying her squeaky toy. I had to have her leave it before she went outside. She played in the snow for a little bit. When she came in, I wiped all the snow off that was stuck to her paws. She hopped up on the couch to lounge for awhile. Oreo helped himself to my lap and purred the whole time. Skylar came in and sprawled out on the table by the door. She gave me a quiet little meow as I pet her. Gibs went to play outside again before bedtime. Since Oreo had gone to eat, Xavier came trotting over for his turn for some attention.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

This morning there was a few inches of snow on the ground! I let Zoie and Cole out first. Zoie hopped along and got right in the snow. Cole stood there for a minute, trying to get his bearings. He wasn't quite sure where to go at first, but he quickly found his way. He had a little snow beard when he came back in! Haha!  Sadie went out last, and she sat out there for a few minutes, not seeming to mind the weather. When they were done, I got everyone their breakfast. This afternoon, all the pups went out to do their business. When they came in, it was time to play! Sadie was bouncing around and sneaking kisses as I tried to sit down. Cole was pawing at me for his heiny scratches, then rolling around again. Zoie was busy play growling at me from across the room, then bringing her Frisbee over for a game of tug. The few times I snuck it away from her, we got to play a little fetch. This evening everyone was ready to go outside. They all had some fun while they were out there! I wiped all the little toe icicles off and dried their tummies. Sadie was all full of energy. She and Zoie wrestled around for awhile after their dinner. When it was time, I tucked them all in for bed.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

This morning I let each of the pups outside when I arrived. When they came in and got dried off, it was time for breakfast. I put them all in their beds to eat. Since no one really seemed to be hungry, I put their food up and let them out to play. Sadie was attached to me the whole time. Zoie got her Frisbee and brought it over to play tug for awhile. This afternoon I let them all out again. Cole went out to the yard on his own, without any help. The cold air made them kind of spunky! Sadie came to sit by me right away. The other two joined shortly after, and were all demanding attention. I didn't have enough hands! Sadie and Cole were standing on either side, pawing at me if I stopped petting them. And Zoie was in the middle, placing her Frisbee in my lap, then picking it up and flopping it down again if I didn't grab it! Cole was being silly too. He was doing the happy heiny dance when I scratched his back end. Then, he rolled around on the floor awhile. Haha! This evening there was snow on the ground. I let the girls out front, and Cole out back. Cole did his thing, then came right back in. Sadie actually wanted to sit out and enjoy the cool air a bit longer than the others. I got them their dinners next. Zoie must have been hungry, because she polished off her bowl pretty quick! Cole got his second dose of medication before bed.

This morning Giblet did a great big stretch, then bounced her way to the living room to get her teddy. She dropped it by the door when it was time to go out. She didn't stay out long on this cold morning! When she got back in, she waited in the kitchen, while I got her breakfast ready. She got her yummy canned food again, so she worked on eating most of it right away. I sat in the living room while she ate. Oreo came and cozied up on my lap. Muss Skylar came out and wanted some attention. She was a lovey girl today! When Gibs returned, she went to go sit in the window and look outside. This afternoon it was still so cold out! The sleet had just started. Gibs went out for a few minutes and came back in. She got lots of tummy scratches this afternoon. She even groaned, like, "Aaahh that's the spot!" When I let her out again, Skylar and Xavier came by me to be pet. This evening it was snowing out! Giblet went out and was racing around. When she came in, she hopped right over me, while I was trying to dry her paws. She was all spunky! She then proceeded to pounce after any of the cats that were in her vicinity. Haha! I let her play outside a couple more times this evening. She seems to like the snowy weather!

Sadi & Stormy

This morning the girls were snuggled in their spot on the chair again, nice and cozy on a chilly morning. I got their food ready, then I stole Sadi away from Stormy for a bit. She got her meds and I cleaned her up. When we went to our spot, I grabbed the brush, along with a mouse toy. Sadi sat by me to be brushed, while I had Stormy entertained with the mouse. She was going crazy! I grabbed the sock toy as well. She laid on her back, rolling around, swatting and kicking at it. I guess she was in a very playful mood this morning! When it was time, I took Sadi in by the food again to eat.

Sadie, Zoie & Cole

This morning I let everyone out one by one. I put Zoie out front to go potty, then I got Cole and took him in the backyard. He stood on the patio awhile, and wasn't up for any attempt at convincing him to get off and into the grass. I had to pick him up and take him over there. Then, he went potty for me. I wiped paws off, then it was Sadie's turn out front. Once they were all inside, we sat in the living room awhile. Sadie sat directly in front of me and snuck in her kisses. Zoie was busy gathering up all the toys she could! Cole had wandered off to the bedroom. Later, I went to see what he was up to. He was just taking a snooze in his bed. Before I left I checked to see if anyone had to go out again. This afternoon Sadie and Zoie met me in the laundry room when I came in. I sent them out on the line, and took Cole out back again. I walked with him to the edge of the patio, then he hopped off on his own. He was being so silly! After he finished his business, he was looking at me and hopping from side to side. He was either trying to dodge something I couldn't see, or was trying to get me to play! I made some silly noises and jumped down lower and that got him going again. It made me laugh! We all played inside awhile again. Zoie actually wanted me to play this time. She brought a frisbee over and placed it in my hand, while continuing to keep her hold on it. We played tug until she was tired. Sadie was sitting in her spot, right up in front of me again. She's so funny. I sent everyone out back for one last potty break before I left, since no one had dirty paws earlier. This evening, Zoie was bouncing up and down at my legs when I walked in. I let everyone out for their potty break. Once paws were cleaned, they headed in and I got them their dinner, and Cole his medicine. I sat by Sadie's bed while she was in there, and she started to eat after a minute. She polished her bowl clean pretty quick! Once they were done, it was back outside again for awhile.

Today the girls were both snuggled up in the recliner when I arrived. I got their food ready and took it to their room. They must have been comfy, because they were still in their spots when I got back. I took Sadi to get her antibiotic, then the rest of her meds. She was crusted up pretty good, but sounded well once I got her cleaned up. She led the way to the living room when we finished. Stormy hopped down from the chair finally, and came for a few chin scratches. Then, she started playing with the knotted sock on the floor. She held it with her front paws and kicked with the back! Haha. Sadi just sat and was happy to be brushed and pet. Before I left, she ate a bit for me.

This morning Giblet did her business outside, as usual. When she came in, we decided to go for a stroll. There was a dog outside in its yard that was barking back and forth with her, so we turned around and took another route. We could tell the cold air was coming! Once we got back home, I got everyone their breakfast. Then, Gibs, Oreo, & Xavier all came to sit with me for some attention! They're so funny. I let Giblet have a little more time outside this morning. I stayed and pet the kitties a bit longer. Oreo and Xavier started play fighting after awhile. Haha! I noticed Shadow was in her spot on the bed, as usual. This afternoon Giblet took a potty break when I arrived. She got plenty of belly rubs when she came in, and gave me kisses in return. I think she was getting a little jealous of Oreo at one point! He was curled up in my lap, so she came over and almost nudged him out of the way. Silly girl! This evening Skylar was curled up on the recliner when I walked in. I let Gibs outside and noticed Oreo was sitting in a little shelf of the stand under the tv. Giblet came in and laid by me for some tummy scratches. Every now and then she would get up to lay elsewhere, then would cry at me from across the room, until I convinced her to come back! She got one more potty break before it was time for bed.

This morning I let Giblet out potty for a bit. When she came in, I got everyone their breakfast. Today I added some canned food, so I had lots of little eyes watching me! Xavier and Oreo were both in the kitchen along with Gibs. She worked on eating most of her food right away. While she was doing that, I pet Skylar for a bit, since she was sitting by the hallway. Gibs and I sat in the living room awhile, since Oreo & Xavier were taking their turns to eat. Oreo came and snuggled up on my lap, then I had Gibs laying next to me on one side and Xavier on the other. This afternoon we headed outside for awhile. Giblet did some exploring around the yard. It was damp out yet, from the foggy weather this morning. So, I made sure to wipe her dirty paws off before we came inside. She laid by me on the floor for a belly rub. The kitties would come by occasionally for some attention too. Xavier kept walking up to Gibs and rubbing his face on hers. So cute! We spent a little longer outside before I left. This evening Giblet met me at the door. While she did her business outside, I cleaned up a little spot of kitty food someone threw up. Then, I changed out their litter. By the time I was done, Gibs was ready to come back in. She was being silly tonight and kept trying to sneak some kisses. She got her belly rub for awhile. Oreo and Xavier would sneak in for some attention whenever they could. Skylar came up for a few pets, on her way to curl up on the back of the recliner. I gave Gibs one more potty break before bedtime. She's been such a good girl!

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy came to visit me in the kitchen, while I got their breakfast ready. She rubbed up against my leg, then itched her face on the corner of the cabinets. She follwed along, as I took the food to their room. They had eaten all their food by the time I got there this morning! Stormy went to work, while I went to get Sadi. Sadi was all curled up on the recliner. I took her to the kitchen to get the first of her meds, then off to the bathroom for the rest. I set her by the food when we finished, but she headed to the living room instead. We sat in our spot and she enjoyed her brush session. Stormy walked circles around me for a bit, waited for her chin scratches, then went to lay on a dining chair. Sadi had an itchy chin today. I had her little back leg going! Haha! Stormy came back to visit again for a bit. I took Sadi in by the food again later, and she ate some for me.
