Today I cleaned the litter box and filled their food dishes when I arrived. Once I got out the vacuum, I saw Billy bolt from the guest room hall, and head for the master bedroom. I finished vacuuming and then filled their water fountain. I went to the bedroom and saw Billy walking out from the bathroom. He let me pet him once, before he took refuge under the bed. I saw Zoey was hiding under there with him.
This evening I saw Oreo sitting in the doorway of the bedroom. He got up and met me in the kitchen, then rubbed up against my legs. I got them their food, fresh water, and cleaned their boxes. I saw Stuffy was curled up on the bed again. I stopped in to say hi to him for a minute. Oreo followed me to the living room to visit a bit. He rolled around and rubbed his face on me. After awhile, I got a couple toys out to play with. He had fun pawing after his feather toy when I tossed it up in the air for him. It wasn't long before he was bored with that. He was content, just keeping me company. Stuffy never came to see me, so I guess he was still cozy in his spot!
This evening I came in and called for Buddy. He came up the stairs to see who was home. He was being a little shy, but not bad. He remembered me. I gave Buddy his pills, which he took like a champ. Meanwhile, A.C. and Aspen were both lovin' on the gate. I think they were hungry. Haha! I got them some food quick, on my way to let out Bruno. He was racing circles around me! I headed to the laundry room, where the boys met me to get ready for our walk. We got outside and headed on our way. Well... they got a pretty short walk tonight. As we reached the end of the driveway, I saw a skunk at the end of my light, headed right towards us!!! Luckily, the boys hadn't spotted him yet, so we backed away and headed for the house. They both had gone potty, so that was good. Phew! Back inside, I got Bruno his dinner. He, of course, was too excited to eat. He and I played fetch with his duck toy for awhile. Aspen visited with me while I waited for Bruno to bring his toy back. When it was time, I tucked Bruno in bed. I put his food in there to snack on after I left. As I was closing the gate, I saw Angel in the living room! I've never seen her, except for under a couch or bed. She was quick to hide, when she saw me looking at her.
This evening I walked in and there were no kitties to greet me. I went to the kitchen and got their food ready. Thanks for the card!! Still no kitties. I called for them as I headed to the laundry room. I flicked the light on in the bedroom quick to see if anyone was in there. Sure enough, the boys were snuggled on the bed together! I got a couple cute pics, then pet them quick as I left to go clean their boxes. I went to the living room to our spot, thinking the boys would follow shortly. Nope! They must have been cozy where they were. Oreo eventually came to visit. I found the kitty treats in the laundry room, opened it up and gave him a couple. Shortly after, Oreo was already bored with me and wandered off. Stuffy came by to visit just for a minute as well. Maybe tomorrow they will want more attention. Haha!
Tonight when I walked in, Little Man came to see me right away. He hopped up on the counter and was flopping around on the paper, while I was trying to read my notes. Silly kitty! Tilly could hear me and she started whining outside. I got miss Rita up and we headed outside. Rita went potty, while Tilly was going crazy with excitement! I tossed the ball for her a couple times, while keeping a close eye on my little escape artist. As soon as Rita was done, we headed inside. The kitties made sure to get up high to stay safe from the commotion! I went upstairs to check on the kitties' things. Tilly had followed along up the stairs. It was a little scary trying to go down with her behind me! Haha! I let her go by, then she tried to stop midway to turn around and come back up to where I was. Goofy lady. Tilly didn't want to go to bed when it was time, so I had to bribe her with a snack. She just wanted to play. Rita got a snack as well, then she went to her room for the night. I didn't get very good pictures tonight, because it was a bit dark and everyone was so excited, they wouldn't hold still. ;)
This morning I let Griff and Macy outside. They messed around for awhile, before we headed inside. We went to the kitchen, so they could get a bite to eat. They both came over for some head and back scratches too. We went out a few more times, so Macy wouldn't get too cold being out too long at one time. This afternoon it had gotten kind of nice out. We spent almost the whole time outside! Macy went out and rolled around in the grass, loving the sunshine. Griff and I played fetch for awhile too. They went inside and got a drink, before heading back to their snuggly beds. This evening it had cooled off again. We went outside for a bit. They stayed out for awhile and sniffed around. When they came in, Macy was a bit shivery. She snuggled up to me and got her ears rubbed. Griff just kept looking at me, like I was going to throw a ball for him or something. Silly boy! Later, we went out once more before bedtime.
This morning I let miss Lily out and she was hyper with excitement! She bounced circles around me for a bit. When she settled, she snuggled up in the chair with me. Later, I told her to go get her toy. She ran off and came back, shaking her wubba back and forth. We played fetch for awhile. She made me laugh today. I sat on the floor in front of the chair. So then, she hopped up behind me and was trying to get at my ears! She was going all crazy, sneaking from side to side. This evening Lily came out and slathered my face with kisses! She zoomed around and went right for her toy. We played fetch and tug for quite awhile tonight. She would take breaks to hop up on the chair behind me. Lily would then hug the back of my neck and go after my ears again. She makes me laugh! We went to go sit by her bowl for a bit, to see if she would eat for me. Sure enough, all she wanted was a little company, and to know I wasn't going to play without her! Haha! She ate a good amount tonight. Then, it was more playtime. When she started to wear down, she snuggled up in my lap and enjoyed a long back scratch before bed.
Today as I walked in, Billy was walking past the laundry room. He stopped for a second, looked at me, then gave me a hiss! Next, he took off to hide under the bed. I did my usual things. I vacuumed up all the litter trails that were spread through the living room, and made sure they had plenty of food and water. I peeked under the bed and both kitties were sitting in their usual spots. No one wanted to come out and say hi today.
This evening I heard Lily when I walked in. I let her out and she started zooming around everywhere! I'd say she was just a little excited. Haha! I let her calm down a little before I pet her, so we wouldn't have any accidents. I sat in the chair by her bed and she hopped up and snuggled with me a bit. She was trying to give me kisses the whole time! Lily brought me her shredded wubba and we tossed that around awhile. She would race to get it, then shake it all about! Lily took a couple potty breaks, so I cleaned up and got her some fresh pads. When she was bored with fetch, I got her a little rawhide to work on. She kept trying to find places to hide it, probably so I wouldn't steal it. Haha! She's so silly. She came and sat in my lap for quite awhile. Lily rolled to her side and enjoyed a nice long belly rub! When it was time, I tucked her in for the night and got her a couple treats to snack on.
This morning the pups went outside to do their business. The neighbor dogs were outside too, so Griff ran to the fence to say hi. They played and explored a little while, then we headed inside to warm up. Macy had herself a little breakfast, and Griff curled up on a chair. Later, I got up and Griffin went racing to the back door. We went outside and I tossed his ball for him a bit. This afternoon, I let Griff and Macy outside for a potty break. When they came in, I grabbed their leashes and got them hooked up. We went for a nice little walk, which they were very excited about! I didn't want to go real long, so Macy wouldn't get chilly. We had all the dogs in the neighborhood barking, cause they were jealous. Haha! This evening we spent awhile outside when I arrived. They were busy sniffing around, checking things out. Macy stayed out a couple minutes longer. When she was ready, she came inside to join us. Griff gave me a good snifd-down, since he could tell I was just with another pup! We headed to the kitchen and both Macy and Griff had some dinner. They got one more potty break, then it was time for bed.
