Tilly, Rita, Daisy Mae & kitties

This afternoon I came in and Daisy came out from the bedroom to see who was home. As soon as she laid eyes on me, she stopped, looked at me for a second, then returned to her spot under the bed. I got out a treat for her and gave it to her in her hiding spot. I sat for a minute and talked to her, then left her be and went to let Rita out. The kitties were both in the bedroom and walked over for some attention. Tilly came running when we Rita and I got outside. I pet Tilly, while Rita did her business. When she finished,  we went in and I talked to Daisy as she sat under the bed for awhile. Rita got a treat, then made an attempt for Daisy's. Daisy wasn't about to let her steal it! She quickly started to work on it. Little man was keeping me busy, making sure I pet him the whole time. I went back outside to spend some time with Tilly. When I came in, I saw Daisy had moved into the office and was curled up in Tilly's bed. I sat and talked to her, and pet Little Man, a little longer before I left. This evening, Daisy came into the kitchen to see who had arrived. I heard her wander into the office. I got her another treat and broke it into a couple pieces. She took the first one directly from my hands. Then, she let me pet her head for a second. Little Man was busy trying to steal my attention. I gave her the other piece, then went to let Rita outside. Guess who's my new friend??!! I tried coaxing Daisy to me and was able to get her leash on. We took a short walk so she could go potty. After we got back, she followed me everywhere! I let miss Tilly inside and tucked her in bed, then put Rita back in her room. We had a great night!

Ricky & Stanley

Today I pulled up and didn't see Ricky or Stanley. As soon as I opened the garage I did! Stanley raced into the garage and Ricky came up to the gate, wagging his tail. I went back to see Ricky for a bit. He sat by me to be pet, then nibbled on the little bit of food he had left from yesterday. Suddenly, he went racing to the back of the yard! He saw some geese he wanted to chase after. He came back and I tossed a toy for him. He raced over to it, then left it there and circled back to me. Guess he didn't want to play fetch! We did get a little game of tug in before he went racing off for something else. I got them their dinner and some fresh water. I visited with Stanley a bit next. She was rolling around and playing in the leaves again as I brushed her! She probably would've let me brush her all day. When I went back to say goodbye to Ricky, he was lounging around on the chair by his house.

Sophie & Roxy

Today the girls came right up to the gate, along with the neighbor dog (on it's side of course) to see who was here. When I got inside, I had to call for the girls since they were still out front watching! They came running in and gave me a big hello. I got them some food and they both got to work right away. When they finished, they monkey piled on me! Sophie layed right on me and was squirming around, flailing legs in the air. Roxy laid on the other side and just relaxed. After awhile, I got them each a snack. I must have come to visit at the wrong time of day, because they were some lazy girls! Roxy sprawled out on the cozy rug and Sophie curled up in her bed, then they both took a little snooze.

Jerrie & Kimmie

Today Jerrie was curled up on top of his kitty tree, soaking up some sunshine. Kimmie was sitting by the couch when I walked in. She did a big stretch and gave me a meow as I walked towards her. After I sorted the mail, I took care of their food, water and litter quick. Kimmie was now sitting on the table behind the couches, waiting for me. She followed along to their room. Kimmie meowed for some attention, as Jerrie was making his way down. I had both kitties purring! Jerrie was scratching his chin on the brush as I held it. My other hand was busy scratching Kimmie's chin as she rolled around on the floor. I had Kimmie chasing after light reflections for awhile today. She even did her little "chirp" like she would if she were watching birds!

Ricky & Stanley

Today little Stanley came running out to the front of the garage as I pulled up. She meowed at me when I got out of the car, ready for some attention! I pet her for a quick hello. Ricky heard me and came to the gate, giving me a little cry to come see him too. He bounced up excitedly when I came to see him! I decided to try and play with him a bit before I brought food out. He still wasn't in the most playful mood today. He raced towards me when I would have his toy, then we'd play a little tug. After a minute he would run back to the house and sit by the door. He was telling me he wanted to go in! I got them their dinner to work on. Tonight, Ricky chowed down pretty good and ate almost all of it, while I was keeping him company. As he was eating, I got them some fresh water. I spent a little time with Stanley too. She was hanging out by the garage, waiting for me to brush her. She kept plopping down on the ground, rolling around in the leaves! She made me laugh. I spent a few more minutes with Ricky before I left.

Jerrie & Kimmie

Today I didn't see either kitty in their room when I arrived. I headed inside and spotted Jerrie in the living room, just sitting quietly on one of the side tables. I pet him a bit, then went to deliver mail. When I came back, Kimmie was waiting in the hallway by the laundry room. She sat and waited for me to finish. Jerrie had already wandered to their room to wait for us. Kimmie was talkative at first, and wanted to be pet a bit. Later, all she wanted was to sit by her window and look out at the world. Jerrie had snuggled up to me again. He rubbed his face on my knee as I brushed him. He flipped over a couple times to get each side evenly. Haha! While we were sitting there, Kimmie eventually went to hide under the desk behind the baskets to take a little snooze.

Ricky & Stanley

Today Ricky ran up to the fence when he heard me pull up. He gave me a couple barks, then started wagging his tail when I called his name. He bounced around when I went in by him, and made sure to give me a good sniff-down. I went to get their food dishes, and heard Stanley meowing from somewhere. I stopped and looked around, but couldn't see her. Finally, I saw she was on top of the roof!! She kept meowing at me as I talked to her, so I wondered if she was able to get down. Sure enough, she hopped down and met me at the garage. I got their dinner ready, and gave her a few pets before returning to the yard. Ricky was ready to eat! He nibbled away, so I went to go brush Stanley a bit. She was rolling around all over the place, flopping down at or sometimes even on my feet! She sure enjoyed her attention. I went back by Ricky to see if he wanted to play. I tossed a toy for him, and he just looked at me. "What?" Haha! He then ate a few more bites. I grabbed another toy and got him to play tug with me for awhile. Ricky had fun doing that, until some people were riding by the house on their bikes. He was racing back and forth across the yard. They kept going by, so that was more interesting than me! Haha!

Sadi & Stormy

Today I mixed up some new food and got their dishes ready. As I made my way to the bedroom, I heard Stormy jingling. She was making her way over. Next, I saw Sadi all curled up in the kitty bed by the window. I bet they were napping together! I got Sadi's meds taken care of. She sounded much better today. I changed out their litter box, then headed to the living room. The girls met me at our spot. I had to steal Stormy to give her her medicine quick. She forgave me right away and came to snuggle up to me as soon as I sat down. Stormy's motor was running loudly today and made me laugh. Sadi enjoyed being brushed and having her chin scratched. I even got her little leg going, so I must have hit a good spot! Stormy weaved her circles around me and in between Sadi and I, crouching down to sneak under my arm. Such silly firls. I took Sadi to the food later. She turned her nose up at first, but then Stormy wandered in and they both decided to eat.

Jerrie & Kimmie

Today I saw Jerrie all snuggled up on the top perch of their kitty tree. He leaned backwards and gave me a meow as I pet him hello. As I made my way in, I saw Kimmie sitting by the couch, waiting for me. She hopped up and followed me to the kitchen. She was quite the lovey girl today! Kimmie was rubbing up against my legs, while I sorted through the mail. I went to take it next door, but I don't think she was home. Kimmie sat outside the laundry room and watched as I took care of their things. I grabbed the brush, then she walked with me to their room. Jerrie hopped down by us and they both were walking circles around me for attention. I brushed Kimmie now and again in between brushing Jerrie. I did that until she gave me her sassy meow and that look was in her eyes... haha! We saw a little black and white kitty sitting outside today. Kimmie hopped up on the trunk to sit and look out the window awhile. Jerrie was content being loved on.

Jerrie & Kimmie

Jerrie & Kimmie were both perched on their kitty tree, soaking up some sun, when I walked in. I took care of their things quick, and grabbed the brush, then headed in by them. I took turns brushing each of them for a bit. Kimmie itched her chin on the brush while I held it, just like Jerrie does. When she had enough, she hopped down and wandered off. I sat on the floor and Jerrie came down by me to continue his grooming. He laid on his side, purring away, as I pet and brushed him. I think he could've had me love on him all day! Kimmie eventually wandered back in by us, and went to sit in her window.
