Shadow

This morning Shadow met me in the kitchen as usual. He had eaten well overnight. He ate some of his prescription food right away this morning, before coming to see me in the living room. He laid on the floor a minute, then hopped up and came to sniff at my knees. Then, he suddenly hopped up on my shoulders! "You will hold me now." Haha! He sat snuggled up in my arms and purred awhile. When he hopped down again, I got him some more food to snack on. He ate a little, then it was play time! He rolled around on the floor, pawing at his feather toy. This evening, Shadow met me in the laundry room. He helped me pick out a couple new cans of food from the pantry. He ate some, while I cleaned his litter boxes. When I came back, he was ready to cuddle in my lap a bit. The rest of the time, we played with his feather toy.

Oreo & Stuffs

Today I saw Stuffs all curled up on the ottoman in the living room when I walked in. I gave him a pet hello, then turned around to see Oreo in the kitchen, waiting for me. He rubbed up against my legs and rolled around on the floor, while I got their food ready. He got working on his plate while I cleaned their litter box. Oreo trotted along ahead of me to the living room, and laid down in his spot. He purred away as I pet him. Stuffy was comfy where he was, and stayed there the whole time. Oreo and I played with a couple of his mouse toys today too. He seemed pretty interested in the birds outside today. He would suddenly spin around with his ears perked up, to stare out the window. I gave Stuffs a few chin scratches on my way out.

Bubba

I walked inside and got Bubba some fresh water right away. I refilled his snack bowl and called for him. He didn't come out, so I went ahead and cleaned his box quick. Mr. Bubba must have been out exploring today, so I missed him. Maybe tomorrow!

Sadi & Stormy

This morning Stormy came all the way into the laundry room to see me. I grabbed her quick to give her her meds. She purred and rubbed up against the cabinets as I got their food ready. She followed me to eat. While she was busy, I changed out their litter for today. Next, I got miss Sadi out from under the bed. She was all curled up and snoozing away. The girls both walked along with me to the living room. Sadi meowed for me to brush her. Stormy laid just out of reach for a bit, while she groomed herself. Once she finished, she walked around behind me and brushed up against my back. She snuggled up close for her attention.

Shadow

This morning, after I got inside, I saw Shadow trotting down the hall to come see me. He weaved in and out around my legs and even meowed at me, as I got his food ready. He just looked at it, so I guess he's holding out again today for the yummy food. I left a good amount of his prescription food overnight, and he had finished all of that. We sat in our spot in the living room and he crawled up into my lap for some attention. He purred away and rested his face against my cheek. After a little while, I got him some of the food he was waiting for, so he would work on that a little. When he returned, we played with some of his toys. Later, he got into a frisky mood with his bed. Haha! This evening Shadow came waltzing in the kitchen, ready for his dinner. I had been pretty good about moving whenever I could feel him nosing at my legs. But, tonight was the first time he got me! He gave me his light little mouthing on my leg before I knew it. He was a good boy and worked on his special diet right away for me. I cleaned his box while he was busy. We met up in the living room and I could tell he had his sassy ears on tonight! Haha! He kept trying to nibble on my knees, so I finally got him to play with his feather toy instead. He wrestled around with that for a good while. Eventually, he settled down and wanted some snuggle time. He curled up in my lap and purred away.

Bubba

Today Bubba passed by the laundry room as I walked in. He stopped and brushed up against the doorway when he saw me. He came and nibbled on his food, while I scooped his box and got him some fresh water. When I finished, Bubba followed me to the living room. He plopped down at my feet and began purring and rolling around. I pet him for awhile, then he helped me look for his toy. We found it and he got to play awhile too.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning I saw Stormy snoozing on her chair when I walked in. She didn't hop down until I had their food ready. Then, she followed me to their room. Sadi was already in there, getting a drink. So I didn't have to search for anyone this morning. She got her meds first today, then Stormy got hers once we were done. The girls both snuggled up to me in the living room. Sadi got her brushing, and Stormy got her pets and chin scratches. Stormy was walking circles around me today, then settling in the same spot each time. Both girls purred and purred. So sweet!

Zoe

This morning Zoe was right at the door to say hi! She was so excited. I said hi, then we went outside quick, just in case. She had grabbed her Woodstock toy immediately, and wouldn't give it up to go out. So, I let her bring him along. We went back in as soon as she went potty, so we could play a little. I sat on the floor with her and we tossed her toy around. She's one happy girl! I waited for a truck to pass by, then we went out front once it was clear, to get the newspaper. She did great!  She went right for it, then pranced along to the front door with her paper. After we got in, I followed her to the kitchen. But, there was no paper! I had only looked away for a second to close the door, and somehow she had hidden it by then. I asked what she did with it, but she just looked at me. "I brought it in for you silly human!" I looked and looked, and finally I spotted it in her bed. Haha! I gave her a treat, then we headed outside for a bit. We walked around and stopped to say hi to Sophie and Roxy. Later, we went in and I got Zoe some fresh water and her last snack before I left. This afternoon Zoe must have been snoozing. I called for her and she came out to see me. Her hip must have been giving her trouble too, as she hobbled around for awhile. She and I went outside for a few minutes. This afternoon she kept wanting to go back in, even though it was so nice out! She wanted to play and eat her treats instead. I could tell, since she kept sniffing up at the table. She knew they were up there waiting for her. She grabbed her toy and danced around with it a bit. Then, she snuggled up to me and rolled over for a belly rub. We went outside a few more times before it was time to go. We sure had fun today!

Shadow

This morning Shadow was peeking his nose out the door at me as soon as I opened it. He had eaten well overnight. I opened him a fresh can of his prescription food for him to start with. He went and sniffed at it. I guess he's holding out for the good stuff this morning! He sat on the bathroom counter as I scooped his box quick. He followed me back to the living room. Shadow plopped down on the floor by his spinning ball toy. He laid there and pawed at his green feather ball. Then, he came over and started trying to mouth on me. I could tell he was in a playful mood this morning. I got out his feather toy and he just went crazy! He rolled around, leaped after it and flailed about. It was quite entertaining! At one point I think he startled himself and he went racing off to the bedroom! He eventually came back out and had a bite to eat. This evening Shadow must have been napping. He didn't come out to see me until I had opened the fridge to get out his food. He turned his nose up at his special food at first again. He was a bit more snuggly tonight and curled up in my lap awhile. We did play with his toy for awhile too. I went and got him some yummy food, just so he would work on eating a bit while I was there. That's what he was waiting for! He chowed down the little bit I gave him. We waited a bit, then he got some more. As I was getting him a little more, he decided he was going to work on his special diet in the mean time. Silly kitty! After he was full again, he lounged on the back of the couch for a bit.

Sadi & Stormy

This morning I heard Stormy hop down from her chair while I got their food together. She just sat under the table though. Maybe she didn't want her meds... haha. I went and got her to get that done quick. She was a lovey girl again today and was following me everywhere. Sadi wasn't under the bed, so I had to pass through the living room to check the patio. Stormy trotted along ahead and stopped to sit in our spot. When I kept going, she quickly turned her head from side to side. "Hey, where are you going?!" Sadi was out on the patio, enjoying the cool morning. She had a cozy spot on her bed in the sunshine. I brought her in for her meds, and Stormy tagged along. Once we finished, the girls got their attention time! Sadi would rub her head against Stormy while I brushed, then Stormy would give her a few kisses on top of the head. So sweet! They both sat with me the whole time today.
