Jerrie & Kimmie

Today Kimmie was sitting under the table in the entryway when I got in. She came out, then started heading towards the living room. I saw Jerrie was comfy on the second tier of the kitty tower. I went and took care of their things quick, then went to visit Jerrie in the front room. Kimmie came wandering in after me and climbed in the window sill behind the curtains. She was trying to be a stealthy kitty today! I peeked in at her and she scooted backwards and snuck out. Later, she sneakily went around the back of the chair and into the other window sill. I brushed Jerrie for awhile, and he just purred away. He stayed in his spot and laid his head back again to get his chin scratched by the bristles. Before I left, Kimmie and I played while she hid behind the curtain. I tossed her green ball at it and she'd stick out a paw to bat it around.

Bella, Louie & Chico

This morning I came in and opened the back door. When I did, I noticed a tiny turtle on the back porch, getting himself a June bug breakfast! I moved him out to the front yard right away, so neither he nor the dogs would get bit. I let Louie, Chico, then Bella all outside to go potty. I got them some fresh food and water for breakfast, while they were out doing their thing. Bella was scanning through the fence for any critters out there. She got interested in something by the flower pot in the corner, but I didn't see anything. Louie and Chico were doing their own exploring. When it was time to head in, Chico didn't want to go to bed. I had to go get him, so I sat on the floor nearby. Then, he came running to my lap and was being all silly! This afternoon was pretty hot and humid out. We went outside when I got there for a little while. When we got warm, we went in to play a little. I sat on the floor and Bella started rolling around next to me. She kept pawing at me and tried to grab onto my hands with her paws. Louie and Chico were busy chasing each other around and wrestling a bit. Chico ran right into his bed this time when I had their snacks ready! Louie was quite excited as well and was bouncing all over the place while I got it ready. This evening everyone went out for a quick potty break before dinner. I went in with the little ones so they would all eat some food right away. Bella was busy exploring, so I went back outside and sat down with the bowl right in front of me. This time, she ate a bunch! I guess she's just too worried about me doing something fun without her! I noticed Chico is quite the little sneaky one. He would steal bites out of the other bowls when they weren't looking! Silly boy. He and Bella had fun roaming around the yard tonight. Louie spent most of his time inside the cool house.

Jerrie & Kimmie

Today I came in and said hi to Jerrie quick, on my way to th laundry room. I got them fresh food and water, then took care of their boxes. I went back in by Jerrie and pet him for a few minutes. Then I realized, I still hadn't seen Kimmie yet! I went to go find her. She was all cozy, snuggled up on the blanket on the bed. She must have been pretty comfy too, because she wasn't moving an inch! I pet her for a little while, and even brushed her a tiny bit. She stayed put while I went back to visit with Jer-bear. He was comfortable as well, at the top of the kitty tower. He sat there while I brushed him, tipping his head back now and again ao I'd get his chin. He's such a sweet boy.

Bubba

Bubba was right at the door when I came in today. He followed me to the kitchen and plopped on the floor, then started rolling around. He helped me get him some fresh food and water. When I finished up, we went to the living room. I got out hid feather toy and we started playing. He rolled all over the place, swatting at the toy. He would catch it and kick at it with his back feet! Then, Bubba was doing army crawls with his belly on the floor, chasing after the feather. Such a silly boy! He purred away the whole time we played.

Sadi & Stormy

Stormy came trotting into the kitchen to see me today. She meowed at me a few times while I got their food ready. Then, she found a sunny spot by the window. Sadi was out on the patio today, sunning herself. I picked her up and took her to get her medication. She got an extra pill today since she was pretty congested. When I was all done picking on her, she went and had some breakfast. I came out to the living room and saw Stormy was being playful. She was rolling around under the table, grabbing onto the chair legs. She didn't want any attention today. She laid there most of the time, then wandered off to get some food. Sadi came out to get brushed and pet for awhile. She gently rubbed her chin on the brush while I held it for her.

Bella, Louie & Chico

This morning all three pups zoomed outside while I got their food and water ready. Bella was inspecting the fence for any birds that might be perched on it. She came to visit me for a little bit for some back scratches. Chico laid on the patio and sunned himself for awhile. Louie wandered about the yard and was barking up at the air. I'm not sure what he was looking at or if he just wanted to talk! Eventually, everyone had done their business and went to nibble on their food a bit. This afternoon was hot and humid out! The kiddos didn't seem to mind too much. They headed out and explored around the yard. This time it was Bella who was lounging in the grass, getting her tan on! Louie sniffed around in the grass awhile. Chico hung out by me and actually got some attention without Bella racing to take over his spot! We all went inside to cool off for a bit. Bella was having a blast rolling around on the floor with Chico tackling her! She, of course, had to take breaks to come get pet, but then back to playing. Louie was sprawled out on the living room floor. He'd come over and talk to me a little too. Later, we went back out for their last potty breaks before snack time. This evening everybody went outside for awhile. I went in with the little ones to try and get them all to work on their dinner. Chico did well, Louie took a few bites and lounged in the living room. Bella just sat and watched through the window. I went back out by her, but had to ignore her a bit. Then, she ate better for me! The pups kept hearing sounds that they'd all take off to check out. Bella eventually got warm and headed inside to cool off, while the others worked on their dinner some more.

Sadi & Stormy

Today I came in to feed the girlies. I didn't see either, so went right to getting their food together. I found miss Sadi sleepinh at the foot of the bed today. She was a little crusty, but once I cleaned her up she sounded pretty good. She got her medications, then ate a little bit for me. While she was nibbling, I went to find Stormy. She was lounging on her chair on the patio. It was quite nice out there, so she had the right idea! She hopped down and followed me inside, where Sadi was now waiting. Both girls were purring away! Stormy walked her circles around me, rubbing up against my back. Sadi was just loving having her little chin scratched. I got kisses from both of them today! Eventually, Stormy went back out to curl up on her chair. I got the brush out and gave Sadi a brushing session. She seemed to like that quite a bit too.

Bella, Louie & Chico

This morning we all went outside for awhile. I got their breakfast ready and filled their water dishes, then went back outside with them. All three were busy doing some exploring. Once Bella saw I was back, she came running over for attention. Louie came next and propped his front half up on my lap, while he chatted away! Chico came over for some love to, and miss Bella got a little jealous. I had to ignore her a bit since she was naughty and mouthed him! I went inside with the two little ones, hopinh everyone would focus on eating their breakfast for a little bit. But, they all were in too much of a playful mood. Chico and Louie were tearing around the house with each other, while I changed out their bedding. Louie came running over and was dancing around under the towels I was holding, being silly! Bella was having fun running laps along the fence as well. Later, we all went back outside again. Bella heard something at the back of the yard, and was busy sniffing the air and sticking her nose through the fence for a better look. Some birds landed on the top of the fence, which got Chico and Bella all excited and trying to chase after them! This afternoon we spent some time outside. Bella came running up for some attention at first, but then she was busy exploring. She ran around the yard, checking out different noises and chased after the birds. Louie sat and talked to me a bit, then headed inside to nibble on some food. Mr. Chico got his tan on! He laid on the patio in the warm sunshine for awhile, just relaxing. Before I left, everyone got their peanut butter snacks

Jack & Gracie

This morning was nice and cool outside, because it had stormed all night. I let the pups out for a little while. Gracie sat with me for some attention, while Jack wandered to the side of the house. I got them to come in later to eat their breakfast. We spent some more time outside after that. They both laid on the patio and just smelled the rainy air. Gracie didn't even bring a toy out for us. They came back in when it was time and got their treats. This afternoon Jack was sleeping soundly. I walked to the back door to let them out, and still no Jack! I went to find him, still snoozing under the desk. When he heard me come in, he got up and came outside with us. Both pups were wanting attention, so they stood by me for some back scratches. Jack was pretty excited about that! They spent some time wrestling around, then they relaxed awhile.

Bella, Louie & Chico

This morning the pups all raced outside to go do their business. It had stormed all night long, but wasn't raining when I got there. Bella sat with me to make sure I gave her all my attention. Louie and Chico wandered around and explored a bit before breakfast. Louie had the most wet paws, so I dried him off before sending him inside. Chico didn't appreciate me touching his paws much, so he didn't get quite the dry time. But, his paws are tiny! The boys went in to eat for awhile. Later, I let them come back out, but they wanted to stay in the dry house most of the time anyways. Bella finally left me long enough to get herself some breakfast too. This afternoon the pups all went outside for awhile. Louie came by me to get some some of his itchies scratched. Bella hogged most of my attention from Chico whenever he'd try to come say hi. Later, Bella and Chico raced around the yard together. They zoomed back and forth from one side to the other. I tried to get Bella to play fetch with me, but she just wanted to be pet instead! Louie came over again later, put his paws up against my legs, then sat and talked to me a bit. We headed inside after awhile and I got their peanut butter snacks for them. I didn't even have to go get Chico this time! This evening I got everyone their dinner after letting them all out. They each kind of nibbled the whole time. Chico kept getting excited about something at the front of the yard. So then, Bella would race over to help him check it out! I had seen a cat in the road as I pulled up, so maybe that was it. When it was time, I got the kiddos all tucked in for bed.
