Today Mac came bouncing around the corner as I was walking up. He said hi, then ran right for the bin to sit and wait for his toy. It was still nice and soggy from yesterday! Haha! We got right to work. He was racing back and forth across the yard, sliding around to catch his rope. It was really nice out again today. It wasn't long before Mac was starting to slow down, getting tired from playing. He took a couple water breaks and would slowly walk over with his toy, not wanting to quit just yet! Mac's little puppy friend was out for a little bit today, watching and saying hi. Mac remembered my fakeouts yesterday, and didn't fall for it once today! He did see a shadow a couple times from the rope flying above, and had to look back at me to make sure I didn't still have it. While he laid down to take a little rest, I got him some fresh water. He started working on his dinner when I fed him, and happily took a couple treats to snack on.

Daisy
Today Miss Daisy was snuggled up in her bed, taking a nap when I came to visit. It was a good day for it too, since it was a cool and drizzly day outside. I checked her box while she watched me. Then, I got her some fresh water, topped off her kibble and got her a new can of yummy food. I tried to get her to play a little with her feather toy, but she wasn't up for that. She hopped down and wanted to eat instead. While she worked on that, I went to feed the fishies. I set a few of Daisy's favorite treats on the counter near her bed for later, when she would return.
Mac
This afternoon was cool and drizzly out, which was perfect weather for Mac! I headed back to see him, since he didn't realize I was there right away. We got his toy out and started playing fetch immediately. Mac loved the weather and we were able to have a nice long game without him getting too hot. He played tug with me several times, not wanting to give me his rope. I tried faking him out and throwing the toy in the opposite direction on him sometimes. He caught on pretty fast, and learned not to take his eyes off it! His little puppy friend next door came outside while we were playing. It ran along the fence with Mac anytime he was nearby. The little pup barked wanting to play again. So cute! Maybe when he gets bigger they can learn to toss toys across the fence to each other! Haha! Mac and I played fetch the whole time today. I got him some fresh water and food, just in time for him to take a rest. He laid by the gate and rolled around in the grass for a bit as I was leaving.
Buddy, Dakota & Shelly
This morning everyone was awake and happy to see me! They were all jumping around while I got Dakota's leash on. They did good and no one had any accidents overnight. I took them all out for a quick potty break. Then, we headed back inside for breakfast. Shelly and Dakota were sure excited for their food! Once all the bowls were licked clean, we went back outside. Dakota and I walked laps around the yard, going here and there for him to sniff at things. It was cooler and misting out this morning. Buddy found his stick again and played with that. Shelly came over for her face and heiny scratches. Later, Buddy decided to be all goofy and pounced in the sand! He hopped down on his front legs, as if asking me to come play too. Since the sand was sticking to him, I tried to get everyone on the patio for a bit. I was hoping maybe some of the wet and dirt might wear off before it was time to head inside. Everyone got a couple treats before I left.

Buddy, Dakota & Shelly
The pups were all dancing at the gate this morning when I came in. I got Dakota all leashed up, then we headed outside. Shelly and Buddy went roaming around. It was super nice out already this morning. I let Dakota lead me around the yard for awhile. Then, he just kept taking me to the door, wanting his treats! So instead, I decided to lead him around. We walked all over the place, while the other two explored. When we finally did go in, they each got a couple treats. I pet them all for a bit, and found Shelly's spot. She did the husky scratchy heiny dance that mine does! When I'd stop, she'd go bounce around, then come right back for more. Of course, the boys wanted in on the action next. This evening I took everyone out when I arrived. A storm is making its way in, so it was very windy and getting cold. Buddy and Shelly both ran around, being silly. So, Dakota and I ran around a bit too. Once they had spent some time outside and did their business, we headed in. I cleaned up one little boo boo. Buddy kept trying to walk in front of me while I was cleaning! Goofy boy. Since we had some time left, we headed back out again. Shelly decided she wanted to stay in, and curled up on her blankly. The boys and I wandered around and explored the yard. Buddy found a stick that he was having a blast with! He was hopping around like a crazy man and then would pounce back on the stick. He made me laugh. Back inside, I gave the pooches one more treat and said goodnight.
Mac
Today Mac came running up to the gate to say hi. Then, he went and grabbed his ball for me. I got out his rope toy and we got to our game of fetch right away. It was nice and warm out again for us. Today, Mac played a little more tug of war in between throws. I accidentally tossed his rope over the fence one time. Mac seemed pretty concerned when it went over that he couldn't get it! He waited for me while I went to save it. We played for quite awhile before he got pooped out. The little neighbor puppy was watching us and cried to join in! Mac watched me fill up his water buckets, and I splashed a little water on him to cool him off a bit. He was ready to play again after that! When it was time, I got him his food and gave him a couple snacks.

Mac
Today Mac didn't hear me coming. I was already inside before he came around the corner. Then, he seemed surprised to see me! "Oh, you're here!" And he went immediately searching for his ball. I had his rope toy out before he found it. It was sunny, warm and in the 80's today. We got a good game of fetch going. We took a few more breaks in between throws today since it was so warm out. Mac didn't mind at all, and happily curled up in the shade with his toy. Later, he helped me refresh the water in his buckets. A few last throws, then it was time for his dinner. He got a treat before I left and then he went to go eat some more.

Mac
Mac met me at the gate today when I arrived. He had his ball ready to go! I went over and got out his rope toy. He immediately dropped the ball, and was excited for the new toy! I tossed that for him for awhile. He so kindly decided to cool off the rope each time he got a drink, by dunking it in his bowl. Silly guy! It was such a nice day out for him to play. He raced back and forth for his toy, always bringing it back for another toss. He started to get tired, and took a rest in the shade of the porch. I let him rest until he got his second wind and came back for more. I let him rest a bit while I filled up his water buckets. He was happy to get a drink of the fresh, cool water from the spigot. Before I left he got his dinner. I distracted him by tossing a treat as I snuck out. After he finished, he stood at the gate to watch as I left.
Hope & Tag
Hope is sure getting big! I let her out as soon as I got there. She had messed in her crate, so I got to cleaning that up while she played outside. Once I finished, she came bouncing over to see me. It was so nice out today! Hope grabbed her little kong toy and kept trying to hop into my lap to show me. Next, she found a stick to play with. Tag was happy just lounging in the grass, soaking up the warm sunshine. I found a little yellow bone in the grass that Hope and I played some fetch with. I had to be careful not to throw it too far, or she'd forget what she was chasing after! She carried her toy back, curled up next to me, and had some fun chomping on the bone for awhile. Hope was being silly, sometimes crawling or trying to jump over my legs. She didn't quite make it all the way across each time. Tag got excited when he saw the neighbor dogs out a few houses over. He barked a hello to them, and Hope went running over to investigate. While we sat outside, I got them each a couple treats. When it was time, Hope came in and got her treat for kenneling up.

Buckley, Chloe & Bootsie
Today Chloe and Buck were both lounging when I came to let them out. They were full of spunk today! Bootsie was already at the door, waiting to say hi. Chloe ran a lap around the yard, then came barreling back towards me for attention. Buck and Bootsie were already getting their scratches. It was cool out this morning, but the sun was warm. Bootsie was rolling around sunbathing. A big white dog was roaming the neighborhood, so Chloe and Buck were often racing to the fence nearby. One time, Buck picked up a toy on his way back, tossing it around! Then he picked up the next nearest toy and did the same with that one. Silly boy! Later, he and Chloe were on the side of the house crunching on acorns. Bootsie sat with me and watched those goofy dogs. While we sat, I found a long, dried up piece of grass for Bootsie to play with. He sat straight up on his hind legs and swatted playfully at it. Eventually, the dogs and I headed in so they could eat a little and have a treat. I put Bootsie's bowl out for him so he could snack too. Soon, Buck was crying to go back out to play.
