Jimmy, Buddy, Sugar & Charlie

This evening I released the puppies from their cages and they all bolted out toward the backdoor. Once we were outside, Sugar and Jimmy jumped up and down, demanding my attention. Buddy ran off to take care of business. Once they were all done, they lined up at the door. Sugar was in front, scratching away. I let them back in and it was time for the boys' pills. I watched them practically inhale their potatoes and run off to do something else. Buddy curled up with a bone on one of the puppy beds, Sugar sat with me, and Jimmy kept bringing me his stuffed doggie, wanting me to throw it for him. Jimmy got his last pill before I had to go, then it was bedtime. They all rushed to bed so they could get a yummy treat.

Buckley, Chloe, Tizzy, JR & Bootsie

Today I was greeted with lots of hugs when I opened the door! It's been awhile! They ran to wait for me at the back door, then raced outside. They were tackling me from all angles and giving me kisses! Buck sat with me and got his chest scratched for awhile. Tizzy would zoom by occasionally and want some attention too. Chloe was having a blast rolling around in the patch of snow remaining in the shade by the shed! The others saw how much fun she was having and ran over. Tizzy and JR were even chomping on some snow. Their neighbor friend came outside later, so they all raced to the fence to say hi. Soon, they were all howling in unison! When it was getting close to time, we headed inside. We went to their room and I visited with Bootsie for a bit too. He was rolling around on the chest next to the recliner. He was loving up every second of his attention!

This afternoon the kiddos were excited to see me. I let them out and we headed for the door. Buddy wanted to bring out his little Christmas bone squeaky. I told him to leave it, so he put it down. But then, he quickly snatched it up and ran out! They all lounged around on the side of the house, enjoying the sunshine. Buddy wandered to the fence to say hi to the puppy next door. Then, Jimmy ran over too! He and the puppy started racing back and forth.

Butter

When I showed up this afternoon, I saw Butter behind the fence wagging her tail crazily and barking, she was so excited. I headed for the door and she beat me to it. I got inside and she jumped up and gave me so many hugs and kisses, I couldn't stop laughing! She ran around me in circles, so excited to have my company. We played with her laser light after that. She ran around and barked eagerly. She eventually decided to lay down for a bit and relax after a nice long drink of water. Then she went out back. She came back in, tail wagging out of control again. She was so happy. I gave her plenty of scratches, she loved it.

Sarge

This afternoon Sarge was so excited to get outside. He was jumping around and demanding I pet him. I finally got him to go do his business in the grass. Then he layed down for a little bit in the sun. After that, we headed back inside so he could get a quick drink. I sat down in the laundry room with him and he attacked me with kisses. He was so snuggly!

This afternoon I let the pooches outside. It didn't take long before they were all lined up at the door again. Brrrr! Jimmy was actually having some fun running around in the snow. I figured out it was Buddy who had the upset tummy. He had a little accident in his bed, so I did some laundry. Then, Jimmy and I played some fetch! I threw one toy for him, then he came back with a different one. This evening the pups all ran outside to do their business. Sugar decided she was going to sit out there for awhile. She doesn't seem to mind the cold as much! When she came in they all ate their dinner. I sat in the kitchen with them and they came over, one-by-one for their turn getting a back scratch. Sugar bounced around, ready for a treat. When it was time, she went racing for her room, followed by the boys.

This afternoon the sun was shining, so all three pups and I went outside. They went to the side of the house and picked a spot to sunbathe. Buddy was worried about whether or not he could bring his bone out with him. I finally convinced him it was ok! Then he curled up near me, keeping a close eye on his bone where he'd left it. I made sure to bring it back in with us when it was time. This evening everyone was snoozing when I arrived. Jimmy climbed down off the couch and ran to see me. Someone had diarrhea today and had a little accident... I'm guessing it was Buddy because he was last to come out and see me and didn't seem to want to go outside. After they came back in I fed them their tatoes and got to work cleaning up. I held off on any treats for tonight so whomever's tummy was upset could calm down. They worked on eating dinner or chewed on bones while I cleaned.

Zeus, Zena & Baby

Today Zeus and Zena barked hello when I walked in. Their little heinies started wagging when I said their names and asked if they had to go potty. Zeus gave me a great big hug before we got outside! I let them both in by Baby and they all gathered by the gate to visit with me. Baby sniffed at me through a hole in the bottom while Zeus grabbed my arm with his paw while standing up against the fence. I went in by them to play a little fetch. All three wanted the ball! Zena was lucky and was able to sneak it away from the others when they weren't paying attention. Baby came from around the side of the house carrying a bone. The boys were naughty and were fighting over it. I got them to stop and took Zena and Zeus to the other side of the yard. Baby didn't want to give up his yummy bone, so I took the other two inside for a bit. They both enjoyed some back scratches for awhile. They went out potty once more before it was time to go back to their beds.

Miranda

This afternoon Miranda seemed a bit sleepy. That all changed as soon as I got her outside. She went potty, then we played with her toys. I threw her toys for her a few times. She sprinted as fast as she could to retrieve them. Then, to relax, she layed down in the grass and chewed on one of her toys. When she got bored, she came back over by me for some TLC.

This afternoon I let the pups all outside when I arrived. I found the water dish for Charlie and got him some fresh water. I spent the rest of the time outside with the kiddos. Jimmy and Buddy saw a tree service truck by the neighbor's across the street and bounced around barking at it! They spent most of their time on the side of the house until it was time to head in. This evening the boys greeted me at the door. Sugar came running from her room and we all went outside for a bit. I came back in and started to get the meds ready for the boys until they were all ready to come back in. Jimmers and I played some fetch after they finished. Then, we spent some more time outside before bedtime. They raced into their room when it was time and each got a yummy treat.
