Suzie, Katie & Blackie

This morning Blackie followed me to get everyone's breakfast. Suzie is slowly getting more and more comfortable with me. Katie came to sit with me to be pet while Blackie worked on his food. Then, Suzie would make her rounds, stopping by for a quick pet now and again too! She barked at first when I had come in, but was quiet after she came by for attenion. After Blackie was done, all I did was go sit in my spot where I leash them, and they both came racing over, crying in excitement! We went for a nice walk this morning. We even saw another Golden Retriever out taking its human for a walk! When we got home I sat on the floor by the table. Katie and Blackie took up most of my attention. Suzie wandered around nearby, but I figured out she was waiting for Katie to leave. As soon as Katie went to work on breakfast, Suzie was glued to my side! This evening there was a huge pile of leaves up against the garage door. It was very windy out today! I had to sweep them out of the way so it would close for me. Blackie worked on his dinner as I pet Katie. Suzie would come by once in awhile. As soon as he finished, both girls started getting excited without me even moving yet! I sat on the couch for a minute and all three piled up next to me. As soon as I grabbed the.leashes the girls were right next to me, each wanting their leash on first. We went for a long walk this evening since it was just gorgeous out. When we got home, Katie and Blackie snuggled up with me.

Suzzie, Heiny, Quartz, Chocolate & Kitty Cat

Today Heiny raced up to the fence as I pulled in, with Suzzie right behind. Kitty Cat was lounging in the window as I went by. She rubbed up against the glass when I tapped on it. Quartz was already standing with his front paws in the sink, waiting for me to turn it on. I pet him for a minute, then went to see Chocolate. She was sitting up on the bed. She enjoyed a long chin scratch before I went to let the girls in. They both waited while I added food to their bowls. They each worked on dinner as I cleaned up and refilled food and water dishes. When I finished I sat in by Suzzie. Heiny and Kitty joined us and each got their share of pets.

Jerrie & Kimmie

This afternoon I found both kitties snoozing away in the computer room. I almost didn't see Kimmie at first. She was curled up in a ball on the blue couch, while Jerrie was in his usual spot on the kitty tower. He was soaking up some some sun through the window. Kimmie jumped onto the treasure chest so she could say hi to me. Then she jumped on my lap in the blue chair for some attention. Next, I took care of their food, water, and litter pans. I came back into the computer room and Jerrie hadn't moved, but Kimmie had joined him, sleeping away on the very top of the tower.

This afternoon as I was opening the cages, I realised Sugar was all tangled up under one of the blankets, so she ran out of the cage looking like a little ghost puppy. It was so funny! I let the three of them outside so they could soak up some more sun. It was pretty windy out, but they still sunbathed again. I sat in the grass with them for a bit. Jimmy took a seat on my lap, while the other two wandered the fenceline.

This afternoon, I let the little ones out of their cage so we could go outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. The sun was out and the air was perfect, and the puppies loved it. Jimmy layed down in the grass on the side of the house. The other two followed and the three of them sunbathed. This evening Jimmy and Buddy greeted me at the door. They all started running around excitedly, ready to go out. I sat outside and waited for them to be done. We went back in so the boys could have their meds. After that, they all went to the living room to play with their toys and chew on their bones.

Today when I arrived I heard a band playing! Guess the neighbors were rockin' out. Haha! The girls said hi, then made their way to the door. Kitty ran from the living room to the kitchen to wait for me. Chocolate was sitting in the window tonight. Maybe she was listening to the music! I put the cat tree down on the ground as requested, before going to turn on the water for Quartz. I pet him for a minute, then went to let the girls in. They couldn't decide if they wanted to go in or out! Maybe it was the nice weather. After they both got in, I went to sit in the kitchen with Heiny. Kitty hopped right in my lap! Heiny walked by several times, making her laps. One time, Kitty stretched out her paw and put it on Heiny's back. She liked that! I think she found a good use for Kitty... back scratcher! Later we went by Suzzie. Heiny curled up next to her and they both got some attention.

Jerrie & Kimmie

Today I saw Jerrie peeking at me from around the couch in the living room. Kimmie was sitting at the top of her perch, and hopped down to see me right away. Today both kitties followed me into the laundry room and decided to snack on their dinner while I cleaned up. When I finished, I headed back to the front room. I heard a galloping sound, then saw Jerrie come racing in by me! He hopped up on the desk and was a good boy while I cleaned his eyes. Kimmie went to sit in the window behind the curtain to watch the black and white neighbor kitty outside. Jerrie curled up on the middle tier for awhile and enjoyed a good chin and back scratch. Later I played with Kimmie for a bit too. She kept playing peek-a-boo with me through the tunnel!

Daisy & Casper

This morning I went to grab the food dishes and get the kitties' breakfast ready. Daisy was curled up in her bed when I grabbed her dish. When I returned, she was in the doorway, waiting for me to bring her food. She started to eat a bit while I cleaned the litter boxes. Afterwards, it was time to find Casper. I checked in the closet first today. He had switched it up again though, and was back under the bed upstairs. He came out and on his way to the stairs, he stopped by me. He rubbed up against my back a few times, then proceeded to the hallway.

This morning Blackie met me in the back room and waited while I gave the girls their breakfast. Next, it was his turn. Suzie was barking when I first got in, but Katie was actually quiet. Katie came in by me and got a couple treats while we waited for Blackie to finish. I waited until Suzie calmed down a bit, then I got them excited by grabbing the leashes! We went for a nice long walk this morning. When we got home, then Blackie got his snuggle time. This evening Blackie was excited to see me. He worked on his dinner while I sat with him. Suzie just still isn't too sure about me. She was barking when I got there and had Katie going for a minute. But then Katie came over to see me and quieted down. I walked into the living room and sat on the floor. Then, without grabbing the leashes yet, I asked if the girls wanted to go for a walk. That got them excited! At least they love me when I walk them! We took a nice stroll this evening since it was still very nice out. When we got home, Blackie and Katie snuggled up with me on the couch until it was time to go.

Blackie came to meet me at the door this morning. He followed me around until he got his breakfast. The girls barked at me a little bit while I sat with him. Katie came up to me, expecting a treat in my hand. When she didn't get one, she ran back in the living room. As soon as Blackie was finished, I grabbed the leashes. Katie took no time at all to run up and get hers on! It took Suzie a couple tries before I could catch her long enough to hook her up. Meanwhile, Blackie was jumping in my lap, "Take me! I'll go!". We took a nice long walk this morning. The sun was nice and warm! We saw some other pups out walking as well. Once we got back home and I unhooked them both, everyone raced for my lap when I sat down. Blackie was even standing up against me to try and get closer than the girls. He is used to getting all the attention! We started hearing a beeping sound that was freaking them out a little, so I went on the hunt for it. It was one of the smoke detectors on the table (without removable batteries). So, I took it into the back room and placed it between a couple towels, so they couldn't hear it anymore. Suzie was attached to my leg the whole time as I was wandering around! Katie, who had taken to hiding, emerged after the sound was gone to snuggle up with us a little longer. Tonight was simply gorgeous out yet. I came in to see Blackie in the back room. He followed me to get his dinner. The girls barked a bit, I think more just out of habit than anything. Katie came and sat with me and got pet right away. She barked a couple times while I pet her, in response to Suzie's barks. After Blackie was done, I grabbed the leashes again. They were so excited they were crying! They both raced over to get their leash on, and away we went. Tonight after we got home, everyone piled on the couch with me. I even got kisses from all three! All was quiet until I got up to leave. Suzzie started in right away haha! Katie started with her initially, but she stopped and was quiet after. She even walked me to the door, so I pet her for a couple more minutes before I left.
