Mia

This morning Mia was barking and bouncing up and down at the front door. I went in only long enough to grab her leash, and away we went! It was much warmer out this morning, so we went for an extra long walk! We saw joggers and other people walking their dogs. Mia was happy to keep walking. I think she liked the warmer air as well. When we got home we sat out on the patio. Mia got to spend the morning outside. When I got back this afternoon it had just started raining out. Mia came inside just in time! As soon as we sat down in the living room, it began pouring out. She knew that we weren't going for a walk this time, and I don't think she even wanted to. She laid down and rolled over for a nice long belly rub!

Toby, Tyson & Morgan

This morning it was Tyson peeking around the door to see me. He ran straight to the sink after I said hi to him. I turned on the faucet, then Morgan came running upto me. Then I went to wake up Toby. He just rolled over on his back and stretched. I let him outside while I got his breakfast ready. When he came back in, he pretty much inhaled his food. After that, we played around with his toys for a bit. This afternoon it was raining pretty hard when I arrived. Toby did not want to go out. I had to go out and stand in the rain first to show him it was ok, then he quickly came out after me and went potty. When we went back inside, he was so happy, jumping up and down like "I did it! I did it!" It was so cute. This evening Toby was up and about when I arrived. He was standing behind the door howling. He jumped up to give me a hug before we headed outside. It was still wet out from the rain, but he didn't mind this time. He came back a couple minutes later, fully prepared to eat his dinner. Meanwhile, Tyson demanded I turn the sink on for him. He drank a little, then just let the water fall on his head. I think he liked it! It was so funny. Morgan was sitting by the backdoor staring at the window, even though he couldn't see through the blinds.

Boomer, Ladybug, Bella & Bo

This afternoon everyone announced my arrival! I got each of their little coats on, then we headed outside. Bobo came and snuggled with me as he began to shiver. Bella was having fun racing around the yard, while Boomer curled up on a chair. Ladybug curled up on my lap as well, so we headed back inside the nice warm house. Bo took over my lap and rolled over for a belly rub. Lady curled up alongside me on the couch. Boomer had a bone he was busy working on, while sitting on the back of the couch, behind my head. Tonight I bundled everyone up again when I got there. It was raining out, so they all quickly did what they needed to do, and were right back inside. Bella hopped up on the couch and rolled around, scratching her back. Bo cuddled up with me again, while Boomer sat on top behind me. Ladybug had curled up in her bed on the floor. They all took turns coming to sit by me for some attention. I got lots of kisses in return! Before bed, they all got their warm coats put on once more for a last potty break. Back inside, they were so excited to get into their beds, that they would race into any cage, cramming in with each other! Finally I got them to go in the right ones, one by one.

Toby, Tyson & Morgan

Morgan was sitting behind the door when I arrived this evening. He meowed a hello at me, then hopped on the couch. I went to wake up the sleepy head who was in his usual spot on the bed. He followed me to the kitchen where we put on his collar, leash, and adorable coat. Then went for a nice walk. He was so good the whole time. He didn't tug or anything. It was a little chilly, but he didn't seem to mind. As soon as we got back, it started raining, so he didn't want to go back outside anymore.

Mia

This morning Mia was already outside when I arrived. I went out to call for her and she came racing to me from the opposite corner of the yard! We took a nice long walk this morning. When we got home, we sat on the patio for awhile. She hadn't finished her dinner from last night, so we worked on that. I hand fed her yummy pieces one at a time until she worked up enough of an appetite to eat on her own. Before long, she had her bowl licked clean! Mia got to stay outside until the cleaning girls were done. This afternoon Mia was at her post, waiting for my arrival. She did her little happy dance until I got inside. Then, she flopped down on my feet to hold me in place, and got a quick belly rub! We went into the living room, grabbed her leash and went on our way. We took another long walk this afternoon. After we got back home, we spent the rest of the time out on the patio. It was chilly out today and looking like rain, so I had her come back inside before I left. This evening Mia was just as excited to see me! She even pawed at the window as I was walking up! Unfortunately, it was raining tonight, so we didn't go for our walk. I let Mia out back to do her business, then she came right back in. She sure wasn't happy about that! She kept "how-woo-roo"-ing at me. I felt bad, because I know how much she loves her walks. But, I told her we would go for an even longer one tomorrow. She laid down on the floor and got a nice long belly scratching the whole time.

Gracie & Jack

This morning Jack and Gracie came sleepily to the front door to see who was home. I let them go outside to do their business. Then, they came in and it was time for breakfast! Jack quickly scarfed down his food and waited in the garage until Gracie was done. After they finished, Gracie played fetch for a couple minutes. Jack stood by the door and wanted to go out, so they spent the rest of the time playing outside. This afternoon I let them potty, then they came in to play for awhile. I got them each a couple treats to work on. Jack stopped and ate his on the spot, while Gracie ran off to find a safe place to eat hers! We played outside again for awhile. I noticed Gracie had brought both her toys out with her, so I put them back inside. It was chilly out today and looking like it would rain, so I kept them inside. This evening the pups were excited to see me. They quickly went out, then ate their dinners. I played fetch with Gracie for awhile. She would race down the hallway and slide to a stop, sometimes even flying past her toy! It was raining out this evening, but they didn't mind. Jack and Gracie had a blast wrestling each other in the grass. When they got tired of that, we headed in for a bedtime snack.

Mia

This morning Mia was watching out the front window for me. As soon as she saw my car, she started doing her little dance! I got her leash on and we went for a long walk right away this morning. We heard a couple dogs barking along the way, so Mia began to whimper, wanting to go play with them. After we got home, we sat on the patio. She wanted to stay outside for the morning. It was simply gorgeous out this afternoon! I found Mia napping on the patio. Once I opened the door, she came running in and was ready to go! So, we went for another long walk this afternoon. Mia got to spend the rest of the day outside, enjoying the nice weather. This evening the wind had picked up and it was getting cooler out. When I let Mia inside, she went straight to her bed and curled up. I sat with her and scratched her belly for a bit. Then, I asked, "Are you sure you don't want to go for a walk?" She popped right up and ran into the living room. We went for a shorter walk this evening since it was a little chilly with the wind. During one big gust, Mia stopped me and I gave her a big hug and kiss on the head. When we got home I got Mia her dinner and a treat.

Buckley, Chloe, Tizzy, JR & Bootsie

This morning Bootsie was all curled up on one of the doggie beds. The pups all ran out and waited for me at the door. They all ran to the back of the yard to say hi to their doggie friends. JR hopped in the trailer and tried to get a closer look into the tree. To get out, he sprung high up in the air! Buck found his little skunk toy and was carrying that around this afternoon. For my second visit, the pups raced out again, as excited as the first! They spent most of their time racing back and forth between the two trees closest to the house, on either side. Buck was having a blast rolling around in a leaf pile! Tizzy had found something interesting by the fence and began to dig. I yelled for her to stop, so she came running over to me. Everyone got excited then, and they all surrounded me, each trying to get my attention! We headed inside just in time for the lawn guys to arrive. They waited in the kitchen while I got their second round of peanut butter ready.

Gracie & Jack

This evening I could hear the dogs in the back as I made my way to the door. They both came barreling in and sniffed at me excitedly. Gracie ran for her toy right away. I tossed it for her a couple times, then headed to the front door. Jack beat me to it, knowing what was to come! He helped me put on his collar and impatiently danced around while I got Gracie's harness on. We went for a nice long walk this evening. When we got back, I played fetch a little longer with Gracie while Jack sat by me for a chest scratch.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

This evening the boys were happy to see me come in. They quickly went out and did their business, not wanting to stay out long in the cool wind. Sugar emerged to join the boys for dinner. Afterwards, she curled up in my lap again. She got a nice neck massage! She just held her head down and closed her eyes, "Aah! That's the spot!". Jimmy climbed up next and kept giving me kisses. Buddy was busy trying to carefully tip over the toy basket. Then he kept pawing at it and looking at it curiously. He made me laugh. When it was time, we headed to their room and got them a treat before bed.
