Buckley, Chloe, Tizzy, JR & Bootsie

This afternoon the pooches raced out of the room to the back door. I almost thought some decorations were going to go flying! Everyone ran out and sat under their tree. Chloe and Tizzy were going in circles around, over and under the trailer. Buckley came by me and rolled over on my feet. He was happy to get a belly rub! After awhile they all went racing to the back corner of the yard. They were saying hi to two of their neighbor friends today! The little black dog was howling with excitement. Buck came inside with me when it was about time and collected their bones. I went back to get the others inside too. They were just having too much fun out there!

Miranda

Miranda was sitting patiently behind the door when I showed up this afternoon. She gave me a hug, then went to pick out which toy she wanted to take outside with her. She grabbed her red bone, then we went out. She wandered around until she finally went potty. Then she layed down and sunbathed, coming to say hi to me every couple minutes, then going back to her sunny spot in the grass.

Miranda

This afternoon, Miranda ran out of the bedroom to come see who arrived. She gave me a big hug and I told her how much I missed her. She grabbed her red bone and stood by the door. We headed outside and she kept following me around, right at my heels. I kept telling her to go potty, but she would just sit down at my feet and stare at me. I gave her a quick tummy rub, then she finally got to business.

Buddy, Bruno, A.C., Angel & Aspen

This morning Buddy was up and waiting for me. Aspen followed me into the bedroom to get Bruno. It was bitterly cold this morning, so we took a slightly shorter walk than usual. When we got home, both A.C. and Aspen were waiting in the living room for their breakfast! While the kitties ate, Bruno and I played fetch in the kitchen with his duck. This afternoon I took the boys for another short walk. After cleaning litter boxes, we sat in the kitchen again. Bruno brought me his bone to toss across the kitchen. Buddy sat right next to me and enjoyed plenty of chest and back scratches. Aspen hopped over the gate, then came and snuggled up in my lap. He kept me nice and warm, purring away as I pet him!

Luke & Maycie

This morning Luke and Maycie were ready to go out and play. I got Luke his ball right away and we began our game of fetch. Maycie was busy running around and playing with bugs on the patio. They both got very muddy again this morning, so we stopped in the garage before heading in. I wiped off their paws with the towel. Maycie kept jumping up and messing around when I was cleaning Luke up! This afternoon I swept up the floor again while Luke and Maycie went out potty. They came back in and had their dinner. Luke was ready for some fetch when we got back outside. He could hardly wait for me to throw the ball! Maycie was chasing back and forth along the fence with the neighbor dog most of the time.

Fiona, Danner, Lew & Jenny

The kids all knew I had arrived this morning. They crowded at the door to see me. Danner almost pushed his way out the front door to say hi! Lew and Fiona each grabbed a kong and started prancing around with them. Everyone quickly ate their breakfast. It was way to chilly out this morning, so we visited together inside. As soon as I sat down, Fiona ran and jumped in my lap! Danner rolled over on my feet and got a belly rub. My little sidekick, Jenny, got her share of attention too. She kept doing her little chattering thing she does this morning. Lew curled up on his bed for awhile. Before I left I got them each a yummy peanut butter filled kong!

Abbie, Guinevere, Sonny & Tabitha

This morning Abbie ran out of the bedroom to see me. We put on her coat and headed out. She went potty then walked around a bit. I let her linger around the front yard until she was ready to go in. Inside, it was breakfast time. Abbie watched me with wide eyes as I popped open new cans of dog and cat food. I put her food down, but she was more eager to eat the kitties leftovers then her own meal. Surprisingly, the cats licked their plates clean quickly, so Abbie could make sure they didn't miss anything.

Izzy, Toby & Daisy

Today Daisy and Toby were awake and announcing my arrival! Izzy was right in the laundry room again, ready to be loved on. She followed me around as I fed the fish and took care of her things. I sat and pet her for a few minutes before going out to see the dogs. I saw the pupperoni treats on the counter, so I grabbed one for each of them. They must have smelled it! I opened the door to see both pups patiently waiting for their snacks. I gave them a little more food in their feeder before going back in by Izzy. We played with her 'fish on a string' toy in the living room the rest of the time.

Fiona, Danner, Lew & Jenny

This morning it was raining out when I came. I fed everyone their breakfast, then we went to sit on the patio for a minute. Soon we headed back inside the dry, warm house. Everyone crouded around for attention. I need more hands to get them all at once! I had Jenny nudging my hand while I pet Lew, and Fiona and Danner were both just trying to climb over the other. I was going to put peanut butter in their kongs, but I couldn't find the fourth one. I looked everywhere and no luck. This evening after they finished dinner, I walked around the yard a bit trying to find that kong. I decided it just had to be in the house somewhere, so I searched again. Then, I tried looking for places I hadn't looked already. Finally, success! They all got excited when I found it too. They waited, Fiona and Jenny trying to peek over the counter, while I filled them all up. Yum!

Shadow

When I arrived this morning Shadow was sitting in his little bed he had dragged into the laundry room all the way from the living room. He followed me to the kitchen where he latched onto my pants with his love bite until I gave him his breakfast. It was so funny! After he had a few bites, he came over and hopped on my lap, purring like crazy and nudging my hand with his head. He really liked to cuddle! I gave him a little more food, then he came back again for more snuggles, curling up on my lap.
