Sophie & Roxy

I said hi to the little girls at the gate today, then headed inside. It was nice and sunny out, so we decided o hang around outside. I sat in the grass where the sunlight was hitting, and the girls came and tackled me! They are so funny! Roxy was full of energy today. She was rolling around in the grass and throwing herself across my lap like Sophie usually does! Later she initiated some playful wrestling with Sophie. The girls took turns rolling around in my lap and getting their tummies rubbed! Later they relaxed and sprawled out in the sun with their rear legs straight back behind them. As soon as the neighbor dogs came out, they were up and at the fence saying hi. When it was time to go I went in and got their treats. Roxy snuck in with me and was searching the ceiling for her light. Sophie stood up against the screen door and peered in like, "Hey, what about me?!".

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

We all went outside when I got there this afternoon. It was very windy out, so all three decided to hang out on the side of the house. Sugar and Buddy each took turns snuggling up with Jimmy when he wasn't busy giving me kisses! Buddy found a nice cozy spot to curl up in the grass and soak up some sun. It was still a little chilly with the wind, so I decided to keep them in this afternoon. Sugar actually raced me to the door when I got up! I did let them have roam of the house though. This evening the boys went outside potty while I got their meds together. Sugar must have been sleeping because she didn't come out until the boys were back in and getting excited! Usually she is the first to be in the kitchen. They quickly cleaned up their plates for me. I had them all go potty this time, then they came back in to snuggle! Jimmy hopped in my lap right away and gave me kisses. Buddy stood up against my leg for some attention too, but they didn't want to share. Buddy eventually snuggled up on his bed and Sugar hopped up to sit on the back of the couch. They each got their snack, then it was time for bed.

Louis & Susie

When I arrived today, Louis met me as I opened the back door! He wagged his tail and gave me some kisses as he sniffed all the different smells on me! Susie peered out of her room to see who had come to visit her. Louis must have told her I was OK, because a few minutes later, she came out and enjoyed some scratches! After some more love and attention, I went inside to freshen the water and food bowls. On my way back out, I grabbed the pills and of course, some yummy chewy treats! Both Susie and Louis were excited to see the treats in my hand, so we went out into the sun to enjoy the treats! While they chewed away, I snapped some cute photographs! We enjoyed the rest of the time relaxing in the sun. A few extra scratches and told them to sleep well and I would see them tomorrow!

Baxter & Bailey

I saw Bailey when I came in the house this evening, sleeping soundly. He didn't even wake up until I started to call for Baxter! Bailey came and gave me some kisses on my hand as I read the note. Baxter was snoozing out on a blanket in the grass and hurried in when he saw me! Bailey was naughty and had taken some of the foam out of one of the doggie beds. But I got it cleaned up. There were some blankets lying around too, not sure if he put them there but I picked them up as well. Hopefully he got it out of his system! The boys and I went outside to play for awhile. I threw some toys around and they would both run over to it, but no one would bring it back! Bailey started rolling around in the grass and Baxter came over to play with him. They ran around together a little until Bailey curled up and soaked up some sun. Baxter took this time to come get pet! We came inside and I filled up their food bowl. Baxter always liked to wait til I came to eat, so this time they each picked a bowl and had some dinner! So cute!

Sophie & Roxy

Things were blowing all over the place today in the gusty wind. There was a door hanger floating in the pond with the fish that I got out! This afternoon I didn't see the girls by the fence when I pulled up, but by the time I got the mail, there they were! They were waiting at the back door for me and ready to come in out of the wind. After they said hello to me and settled down a bit, I thought it would be a good day to play with their light. I no more than grabbed the little keychain in my hand, and they both were darting glances around the room and crying! They immediately began the chase once they saw that little red dot. The girls had a blast! I had fun just watching them. They were starting to get tired as it was time to go, but they would have played longer. Roxy didn't even want to go back outside at first! She came out after Sophie and I, and they both got their treat. See you tomorrow!

Dakota & Benny

This afternoon Kota was very talkative! I got them leashed up and away we went. It was super windy today. Their hair was so cute blowing around! Since things were being blown around, Benny had plenty to bark at. We had a new little dachshund that tried to follow us today. Luckily its owner was also outside and called him back home before he headed out into the street. Benny didn't stop much on our walk today, so we finished our route a little earlier. I let them play out in the backyard for awhile when we got home. All of a sudden, Benny started zooming around like crazy! I think the neighbor dogs just got outside. He and Kota both were trying to stick their heads under the fence. Back inside, Kota finished up her lunch before it was time to go in her bed. I gave Benny a little to munch on too.

Sophie & Roxy

The girls were laying down by the gate as I drove up. I said hi to them quick outside and by the time I got to the back door they were waiting for me! They were overly excited today and took every chance they could to tackle me and give me kisses! Roxy even climbed on the couch behind me and was hugging me! Sophie kept throwing herself across my lap to snuggle with me. Later she was rolling around on the floor and swimming with her paws in the air. Roxy would hop down from her chair and jump over Sophie to get my attention. They both were watching the ceiling for their laser light today. Roxy even started crying for it! After messing around inside for awhile, it was time to head back outside. They each sat so nicely for their treat!

Presley, Callie & Ziggy

This morning was gorgeous out again! We went outside for a little while until they started telling me they were ready for breakfast, by lining up at the door! I'm not sure what to think about Callie's foot; sometimes she will be running on it and other times she's limping. I hope it starts to feel better soon! After Callie finished her breakfast, she snuggled up in my lap until the others were done. We spent the rest of the time outside. Presley and I played fetch and tug of war with her rope until she got tired! At my next visit we stayed outside again. Presley hopped right up on the picnic table when we got out there and gave me kisses! Some of the neighbor kids came out to play, so she ran to the fence to check it out. Callie stayed by me for a majority of the time to get her back scratched. Ziggy playfully pinned down Presley (with the help of her laying down for him). They chased around a little too. I got Presley's rope out again so we could play some more. This time she played a little keep away! She would let me get just close enough to grab it, then she'd quickly zoom off! She tossed the rope around in the air for herself once in awhile too. We headed inside and got them each a treat before I left. Once I got Callie and Ziggy in their room, Presley decided to curl up in the red chair. For my last visit, I got the pups up and outside. It is so nice out! Ziggy was a little sleepy head and didn't hear me come in until I opened the back door. Then he was up and ready to go! I think they knew it was our last visit together. They all hung around by me and wanted to get pet! Presley kept giving me kisses too. After playing outside, we headed in for their last treat from me. I put the little ones in their room and Presley curled up on the chair again. I told them you will all be home soon. They will be excited to see you!

Presley, Callie & Ziggy

This morning was already nice out when I came to see everyone! We headed outside and they did their business. Then, Presley and Ziggy started racing around the yard in circles! Callie went and sat by the door, ready to go in and have breakfast. After they all had finished, Presley and I went back outside and played with her rope toy. I threw it for her and she played fetch with me for a little bit, then she wanted to do some tug-of-war! The other two decided they didn't want to join us. So instead, Presley and I went to play inside. She even found me another rope toy than the one I had brought out! She rolled around on the living room floor with her rope and did some more tug play. Ziggy had snuggled up in the red blankie on the floor and relaxed. I looked behind me and Callie was just sitting on a step! This afternoon we spent the whole time outside since it was so nice out. I even stayed with them longer because they were having fun! Presley was zooming around and having a blast. She would hear something or see someone and go running to the fence to check it out! She was being silly and kept coming to see me, but had to stand on top of the picnic table! Little Callie must have gotten herself pretty good, dice she's still limping a bit today. Poor girl! She and Ziggy did a lot of exploring around the yard. Ziggy and Presley did some racing too. This evening we all went out first, then came in for supper. They all finished, and since it was still warm out, we decided to go back outside and play. Presley was intrigued with the little neighbor kids playing outside. Ziggy and Callie were busy just wandering and sniffing around as usual. Callie would take a break once in awhile to come stand against my leg and get her back rubbed. We were having fun just listening to the frogs sing and music playing. Later we headed back inside and they all got a bedtime snack!

Sophie & Roxy

This afternoon the girls were waiting at the fence again. I had to call them when I went out back since they must have still been waiting by the gate. It was so nice out, so we spent most of our time outside. The girls both jumped up and gave me kisses. We went and sat over in the grass to soak up some of the nice warm sun. Sophie rolled around in the grass and flopped herself across my lap! Roxy came and jumped in at the same time and got ne with her kisses. They both sprawled out in the grass until the neighbor dogs came out. Then they got up to go say hi! Every time I got up the girls ran to the door, so we headed inside for awhile. They each claimed their spot, Sophie on the couch And Roxy in the chair. I could tell Roxy wanted to play with her light, as she kept sharply turning her head and looking for it! When it was time, we went back out and they got a big bone treat to work on! I fed the fish as I was leaving. Its fun to watch them all swim to the top to get their food!
