Tyler, Emma, Lacey & Luke

This afternoon everyone was very quiet when I came in. I guess they were expecting me! Everyone went out potty quick before lunch. After lunch they surrounded me for their attention. Lacey hopped up on the couch behind my head and Tyler and Emma both were snuggling up with me. Lacey came down and wanted her belly rubbed. I let Tyler and Emma go play outside for awhile. They were excited and started wrestling around on their way out! Lacey stayed inside and snuggled up with me for a bit. When I went to let the pups back in, I saw Luke sitting on the bed staring at the window. The blinds were closed, so I'm not sure what he was looking at!

Baxter

This morning Baxter was a sleepy boy! He took quite awhile after calling for him before he came out to see me. He sat and got his back rubbed, adjusting every once in awhile so I'd get the good spots! He helped me fill his food and water dishes. Then he patiently waited for his treat! This afternoon he came out much quicker. He first said hi, then went out and did his business. He let me scratch his back for a couple minutes, before going to get his toy! Later Baxter sat straight up, looked at the door and let out a low growl. I quick turned to see what he was looking at, but I didn't see anything. He went over to the window to investigate. Eventually he came back for more lovin'. I gave him a couple treats to work on before I left.

Baxter

I called for my little sleepy head when I got there tonight! He slowly came out of the bedroom and did a big stretch. We went to our spot in the living room and he gave me his heiny to scratch! I told him to go get his toy, then he ran and pounced on it. He then pranced around and showed it off! We messed around with his pal for a little bit, then he got more back and belly scratchings, which he "gave me five" and said thanks for! I got him more food and fresh water and he started working on his dinner as I left.

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

This afternoon I let the boys outside to play. Sugar wanted to stay in, and curled up in her spot under the bed. Jimmy and Buddy ran right for the side of the house. Jimmy curled up and soaked in the nice warm sunlight! Buddy came over and wanted to be pet for a few minutes. Then, it was Jimmy's turn! Later miss Sugar decided to join us. They got to spend the afternoon with the roam of the house. This evening the pups met me happily at the door. The boys went out first while I got their dinners ready. Buddy was coughing a bit when I first got there tonight. I noticed Charlie had snuck out of his cage tonight! He must have gotten the clip maneuvered off of the food bowl door. They came back in and I attempted to feed Buddy first again. It worked! He ate every last bit as quickly as he could so his siblings couldn't get it! After dinner everyone went out potty again. Then, Jimmy curled up with me on the couch while Buddy found himself a bone to gnaw on. Sugar came to snuggle too! She came up and buried her head in my jacket, then itched her face on me. Those two were messing around with each other a little, then gave each other kisses. One more after dinner snack, then it was off to bed!

Tyler, Emma, Lacey & Luke

This afternoon everyone went outside potty right away. Tyler and Emma couldn't wait to go out and play! Lacey came in and watched as I got their lunch ready. After they all ate we hung out in the living room again for a bit. Tyler and Emma were so playful today. They were wrestling around with each other, then pouncing down on the ground next to me so I'd play too! Emma would crash into my leg and roll over for her belly rub. Tyler even tried to lay across my lap! Lacey sat in her little hut on the couch, watching everything from above. Tyler and Emma got to play outside some more. There was a flock of birds at the far end of the yard. They went chasing over and made them all fly up!

Tyler, Emma, Lacey & Luke

Everyone met me at the door this afternoon! I let Tyler and Emma out back, who went galloping out the door. Tyler went straight for his toy and began to play. Lacey wasn't quite ready to go out and she curled up under the chair on the couch. I got their lunch ready and let them back inside. Lacey was ready to go out now, so she went potty quick before they got lunch. Luke came out and rubbed up against my legs for a bit. After they finished, we sat in the living room and visited for a few minutes. They each came and snuggled up with me! Since the sun was shining, I let Tyler and Emma go back out to play. Luke sat on the bed and watched the pups playing through the window! Emma enjoyed it so much, she didn't want to come back in for me! I went out to her and she just rolled around in the grass, wanting her belly rubbed. Later she eventually came back inside and they all got a treat!

Luke & Maycie

This morning I let Luke and Maycie outside to play. Luke was already in his position, waiting for me to throw his ball! Maycie stole the ball from him again a few times this morning. She had fun just chasing Luke all around the yard, whether he had the ball or not! A couple times Luke was watching the sky for his ball to drop down, only to realize little Macyie was running around with it in her mouth. I got her another treat to snack on. She would swat it around and chase after it, then prance around and show it off!

Chico, Chi-chi & Cali

This morning the pups were ready to head outside. I got them both hooked up and we went on our way! After they both did their business, we took a short walk. Chico was excited to smell everything. They both worked on breakfast when we got back inside. Cali was snuggling right up with me! Chico went and looked out the window, then came bouncing back and rolled around in my lap. He suddenly sat straight up and I noticed both his ears were folded back! It was the funniest thing! He and Cali spent some time swatting at each other from on either side of me. Chi-chi took her turn to snuggle up with me too. Later we headed back into their bedroom when it was time to go.

Luke & Maycie

I said hi to Luke and Maycie as I came through the door. They sat quietly until they saw me, then they were bouncing up and down! I brought out Luke's ball so we could play fetch. He was sure excited for that! Maycie bounced up and down at my legs for her attention in between throws. She kept Luke busy too, whenever she'd steal his ball and run circles around the yard! He would look at me and bark, "Can't you help get my ball back?". I tried, but she's too quick even for me! I got her to come to me, and she'd sit still if I pet her. Then I'd quick get the ball! But she would just steal it back every time he'd set it down for me to throw. I got them each a treat, which kept her busy for awhile. Luke was trying to get both the treat and his ball in his mouth so Maycie couldn't get them. She was too busy tossing her rawhide and sliding around after it on the patio. He realized this and quickly finished his! We threw the ball some more before it was time to go back in.

Chico, Chi-chi & Cali

The pups heard me come in and started barking hello right away! I got Chico's harness on, then outside we went. They both did their business and let me know they were ready to head back inside. Chi-chi started eating her dinner while Chico was busy chasing after Cali! I sat on the floor with them and my buddy Chico kept coming in my lap and rubbing his head on my jacket. Silly boy! Cali came over for attention too, then those two were chasing in circles around me. Chi-chi was still crunching away on her food. Later Chico decided to eat, so Cali took the opportunity to have my full attention. She made herself comfy and curled up in my lap! Chi-chi came over when she'd finished and was in a silly playful mood too. She was having fun pawing on my slippery jacket! Then she'd stand on her hind legs and dance around for me to pet her. She even messed around with Cali too. After everyone ate, we went out potty one more time before bed.
