Today as I was pulling in I saw Kitty running through the woods to get to her porch! She greeted me with purrs and meows. After saying hi I headed inside where Boo was sitting on the ledge waiting for his turn! He got his yummy treats before I turned the sink on for Quartz, who was already waiting patiently at his post. Fluffy was sleeping on a pillow and Chocolate was sitting on the makeup table. The girls both let me pet them for a little bit! I let Suzzie and Heiny in for their dinner. They both pranced inside and wagged their tails at me, waiting to be pet! After giving them some attention, Boo followed me around and helped me clean litter boxes. I found Quartzie all curled up on the guest bed and gave him a couple chin scratches. When it was time to go, I let the girls go back out to the gorgeous day!Monday, December 20, 2010
Suzzie, Heiny, Boo, Quartz, Fudge, Fluffy & Kitty Cat
Today as I was pulling in I saw Kitty running through the woods to get to her porch! She greeted me with purrs and meows. I think Harvey knew it was going to be a nice day outside, because as I opened up his gate, he bounded to the door! He darted around outside, enjoying the nice morning. He went potty and then scratched at the door to get in. Harvey raced inside and almost knocked over his food bin. He wolfed down his food and enjoyed a fresh bowl of water with a few ice cubes in it. Fishy was swimming around his bowl and came up to nibble on the few flakes I dropped in. We then played around with his Christmas snake, switching between tug of war and fetch! He is so funny when he rolls over with it and uses his paws to hold it up in the air. Then it was outside with two fresh bowls of water. Enjoy the sun!
Harvey was waiting for me at the door when I arrived tonight! He was full of energy when he darted through the door. I think he ran so fast to his food dish, he made a hole in the carpet on the way!! After he finished dinner, Harvey wandered into the living room, laid down and rolled over, ready for some scratches. I grabbed the brush and Harvey enjoyed the brushing until he saw his Christmas ball. He got up, ran over to it and brought it back to me. I grabbed it out of his mouth and we played fetch for a few minutes. Harvey must have had a good time outside today, as he was pretty exhausted tonight! Fishy was also relaxing in his bowl, tired after a busy day of swimming! I grabbed a few treats and Harvey knew it was time to head to his room! Sleep well, Harvey!
Prissy & Ally
Today Prissy was sitting by a chair in the living room when I came in. She let me give her a few scratches before she wandered off to the front room. I checked their food and cleaned the litter box. Afterwards, I went to say hi to Ally, who was curled up on her chair under the table. I tried to get them to play with their toys, but neither was too interested. Prissy went to sit by the Christmas tree while Ally came by me in the living room. She got pet and had her chin scratched. She just loved it up! She even snuggled up with her little toy on the floor. Ally was wandering around the house and made her way past us. She let out a little meow and let me pet her quick again before it was time to go.Sunday, December 19, 2010
Harvey and Fishy
This evening, Harvey was full of energy! It must have been all the sun he enjoyed throughout the day. He ran around outside, sniffing and darting from place to place. He finally went potty and then ran back, slid onto the porch, and scratched to get inside. As I opened the door, he dashed inside and made a direct line for his water dish. Then he went over to his food bin and looked at me as if to say, "OK, I'm ready to eat now"! It didn't take him long to gobble his food down. He finished his meal with a few ice cubes and a little treat! Then we sat in the living room and played with his snake, Christmas ball and the big, black toy! There were times when Harvey had a hard time choosing which toy to play with. When I threw the small ball, he would leap into the air to catch it; it was so fun to watch! I checked on Fishy, who seemed to be enjoying his time in his bowl, although I did hear he misses his friends! Harvey finally got tired, so I brushed him before I had to leave. I grabbed the treats and to his room he went! See you in the morning; sleep well!"Gosh, I just love this toy!!"
Buckwheat

Buckwheat was sleeping when I arrived this evening. But as soon as I woke him up, he was ready to go outside! He played outside and went potty, then barked to come back inside. After a few morsels of food, we went to sit on the chair and relax. I picked him up and placed him in my lap, where we enjoyed the rest of my time. It was time for me to go, so I placed him back on the floor and waved goodbye! Sleep well!!
Suzzie, Heiny, BooBoo, Quartz, Chocolate, Fluffy and Kitty Cat
Suzzie and Heiny were basking in the beautiful sun when I pulled up today. Finally, they both heard me and to the gate they went! Two wagging tails and a smile from Suzzie greeted me at the gate! As I opened the door, BooBoo faithfully welcomed me in! I went in search of the other Kitties to say hello, while BooBoo followed behind me. I found Chocolate and Fluffy also warming themselves in the sun on the bed! I tried to snap a picture, but both were camera shy and jumped down, so BooBoo jumped up and posed for me instead! I found Quartz sitting on the bathroom counter, ready for the water to be turned on. Both BooBoo and Quartz took turns with the water! Back outside, Heiny and Suzzie were ready to come in and eat some yummy food! They came right in and enjoyed a big bone for a treat! Heiny made the rounds; her food dish, then a quick kiss to Suzzie, a nibble of her food then back to her dish! I sat down and gave both girls some scratches and their medicine wrapped in cheese! It was almost time for me to go, so I filled BooBoo's dish with fresh food, turned off the water and let the girls back outside to enjoyed the rest of the sunny day. I gave Kitty Cat a fresh bowl of food and water which she thanked me for with some loud purrs! See y'all later!
Mandy, Aeryn, Oscar and Izzy
This afternoon, the girls were full of energy! After their potty break, both Mandy and Aeryn played with their toys and barked at each other in excitement! Each girl would take turns bringing their toys to me to throw and then they would chase it! While we were playing, we could hear the Kitties meowing at us, wishing they could play too!
I could hear barking as I pulled up tonight! Mandy and Aeryn greeted me with wagging tails, ready to go outside. They went outside for a quick potty break and they barked outside, ready for dinner! As soon as they got back inside, both looked up at me, as if to say "OK, we are ready for our treat and dinner!" After they got done eating, we played a little bit longer and then it was time for me to go. I gave each a little hug and thanked them again for a great time! Santa also left a few toys for all the animals! Happy Holidays!
Harvey and Fishy

This morning when I arrived, Harvey was ready for the day. He was laying in his room when I opened the gate. Slowly, Harvey came out of his room and stretched! He got excited when I asked him, "do you want to go outside"? Harvey then ran around in circles all the way to the back door, where he bolted out into the brisk, morning air! We ran around outside for some time, chasing tennis balls. I even snapped a cute picture, as he posed very patiently for me! Back inside it was time for breakfast. He raced me to his bowls and ate a few morsels of food before it even hit his bowl! After he gobbled up his food, he lapped up some fresh water and enjoyed a few ice cubes! I found Fishy swimming in his awesome bowl and gave him a few flakes of food, which Fishy gobbled up! I even took a picture of Fishy swimming! We then went into the living room, where we played with some toys. Harvey and I had a fun morning! I grabbed some treats and he went right into his room! See you tonight!
