This morning Mia was waiting at the front door, ready to go play in the backyard. After I let her out I went to go find the kitties. They were both snoozing; Coco was in the office in her usual spot and Daisy on the guest bed. I let Coco work on her breakfast while I snuggled up with Daisy. When Coco was finished, she made her way to go curl up on the bed. I pet her for a little while before letting Mia in. I gave Mia her breakfast, but she only nibbled on it this time. She was too concerned with getting excited over going back outside! I put her food out there for her in case she was hungry later. This afternoon I looked out the back window and saw Mia sleeping soundly by the back door. She even did a little running in her sleep! I woke her up to have her come inside. I fed kitties, who hadn't moved since I last saw them, their lunch. Mia and I took a nice long walk this afternoon! She came barreling down the hallway as soon as she heard what I had! She's such a good girl. When we got back home, she was ready to go out in the backyard again to enjoy the gorgeous day. I spent some time with Daisy and Coco. Daisy's little motor just keeps on running the whole time I'm petting her! What a sweetie! Tonight I let Mia in and she ate almost all her supper for me. After I fed the kitties their dinner, Mia and I took a nice long walk again. She waited next to me while I grabbed her leash. She kept wagging her tail and made the pink feather toy fly up and hit her. She would turn around and give it a look like, "What is this thing that keeps hitting me in the touche?". Daisy was sitting on the rug by the door, waiting for our return. Mia went outside for a little longer, so I grabbed the pink feather and started to play with Daisy. She's pretty fast for an older girl! It was so entertaining! She ran back and forth, lept in the air to grab it, and rolled around with the feather. I let Mia back inside and said goodnight to Coco.

Maggie & Moe
The girls heard me coming tonight and I could hear them barking away inside. They had both run to the door to see who was home! We went out in the backyard right away so they could go potty. They quickly disappeared into the darkness as they chased each other all over the place! I think it was a little chilly out for them tonight, since they were ready to head back inside pretty quick. Moe worked on eating some supper. Maggie was dancing around me and busy licking my hands like crazy! Moe brought a rawhide over by me to lay down and gnaw on. Maggie saw that and thought she needed one too! She disappeared into the bedroom and came out with one for herself. Then, she went back to hopping around by me and trying to lick my face and hands! She pooped herself out and ended up snoozing next to me in no time. The girls got one more bedtime treat before I left.
Sammy, Molly, Gracie, Couper & Roly Poly
Today I was greeted by 5 pups happy to give me lots of kisses! They surrounded me by the door and were all excited to get some attention. I took a walk around the house and there were no accidents! So far, so good. Eventually we made our way outside to play. Everyone hung out by me for a few minutes before they each started to go off and find something to do. Roly Poly was busy exploring around the yard, keeping to herself. Next, Gracie went off to go potty and do some sniffing around too. Roly found a big ol' rawhide that she carried around to the perfect spot to gnaw on it. Sammy, Couper and Molly were each trying to get my undivided attention, hopping up and down at my legs! Couper and Molly decided to chase each other around for awhile after that. The rest watched, but soon joined in the chase! It was pretty hilarious! They chased in one big line, then broke off into a couple groups, zooming around and around. Later we went inside for supper. Everyone ate for me, but I did have to put the garlic on Molly's food. Couper was the last to finish, and she didn't like anyone else getting near her bowl! She didn't mind me messing around with her food/bowl though. Molly had moved to the couch and the rest of us waited in the kitchen for Couper. I sat on the floor and had Roly giving me big bear hugs, Sammy waiting for his heiny to be scratched and Gracie nudging my arm for her turn! After dinner, we all went back outside for more play time. With full bellies, everyone was pretty mellow now. Slowly one by one, they each were laying down taking naps! Sammy had made himself comfortable on the big chair by the house. I sat with him and soon had a puppy pile on my lap! Couper tried to come up too but there was no room. She curled up on the foot stool next to me and Molly snuggled up against my legs. Roly and Gracie had me pinned and were giving me lots of big wet kisses! We went back in and everyone got a yummy treat before I left.
Couper and Molly goofing around.
Cali
This afternoon, Cali flopped over onto her back and started rolling around as soon as I opened the front door! She got a new flavor of yummy food today, so she got to start eating right away while I attended to her box. When we were finished we played with her shoe string for a little while. She wasn't as interested in that today. She very lazily would grab at it, maybe chew on it a couple times. She wouldn't chase after as much as she usually does! She was only wanting to snuggle today. I think someone misses daddy! She would make her way towards the hall or her food bowls and when I'd call her name, she flopped right over and started rolling around with paws outstretched towards me! What a silly girl!
Upside down kitty!
Dakota & Benny
Today Benny did his zoom zoom as usual while I let Kota out. It was nice and cool out today for our long walk. It was a pretty quiet, uneventful day for us. There was still some candy scattered on the sidewalk, but they didn't even seem to notice today. Kota was busy chasing and jumping up at butterflies. Benny was focused on listening intently to the new dog sounds we heard at one of the houses. Kota found all kinds of goodies hidden in the grass today. I don't know how she finds that stuff! I had to take away a piece of chicken and some sort of bone! When we got home I let them run around in the backyard a little while before I left.
Bunny, Joe Friday & Murdock
This morning Friday was waiting at the top of the stairs for me again. He meowed a "good morning" at me while I pet him. I walked over to the car bed to see if Bunny was the lump under the blanket. She took off as soon as I peeked under it, into the corner by the kitty tree. I went over to her and she let me pet her for a long time. Friday came over for some lovin' too! Friday raced me down the stairs on my way to see Murdock. Today he came out and went right into the living room! He made his way to snuggle up with Friday in a little sun spot on the stairs. They rubbed heads together and Murdock gave Friday a tiny kiss on the forehead. They pretended like nothing happened when they saw I was watching! Later, Murdock was having a blast rolling around all over the floor.

Coco, Mia & Daisy
Tonight I went to go let Mia in right away, who was already waiting at the back door. She was very excited to see me! She danced around while I pet her. While I got the kitties' supper ready, I saw little Daisy come peeking around the corner to see who was home. She let me pet her and started to purr right away! I looked around for Coco to feed her supper and found her all curled up on the bed. Mia laid on the couch, but when she heard me coming down the hallway, she was ready for her walk! She walked over to the basket to show me where her leash was. She nudged at it, then looked back at me. So, we took a short walk tonight while the girls were eating supper. When we came back, Daisy was sitting in the entryway waiting for us. Mia went back outside for a little while, so I spent some time with the kitties. I sat with Coco to pet her for awhile, and she kept turning her face so I could get both sides. Daisy came up on the bed to see what we were up to. She got pet some more too before I went to let Mia back in. Mia got a couple treats before I left.
Cali
Cali was right at the door this afternoon as usual to greet me. She weaved herself back and forth between my legs as I made my way to the kitchen. Since she was craving attention so much I sat down with her right away. She was so snuggly again today! She rubbed up against my back and nudged my hands with her head. She let me pet her for awhile before it was time to play! She rolled around and grabbed at her string, kicking at it with her back legs. She took a little break to have some of her dinner before we played some more. She got tired of playing after awhile and wanted to be all snuggly again!
Bunny, Joe Friday & Murdock
This morning Joe Friday did a big stretch in his little kitty bed when I came to the top of the stairs. He let out a good morning meow, then laid back down. I could see a little lump in the blanket on top of the slide today. I peeked under the blanket and Bunny was all curled up in a little ball. She didn't appreciate me interrupting her nap, so I let her go back to bed. After cleaning out the litter pans I pet Friday for a bit. He followed me down the stairs on my way to see Murdock. Murdock popped out from under the bed just far enough for a little chin scratch, then he went back to bed too. A bunch of little sleepy heads today I guess! Friday didn't complain about getting all my attention this morning. He was purring away!

Cali
Cali met me at the door this afternoon and was already rubbing up against my legs as I made my way into the kitchen! I got her food out to warm up while I cleaned her litter box. She was waiting for me to finish! I sat on the floor with her to play with her shoe string. She came right up to me and crawled in my lap for awhile. When we were playing, we heard a big boom from outside. It scared Cali and every little noise she heard after that, she perked her ears up and listened intently. After we played around some more, she decided to nibble her yummy canned food.
