Coco & Mia

Tonight I looked around the house and realized Mia was outside. I called for her and she came walking around the corner shortly after. As soon as she saw me, she got excited and ran inside! She certainly remembered me from last time. She danced around with excitement and rolled over on the floor to get a tummy rub. She'd paw at me as if to say, "Don't stop!". She got up to go look for mom and dad, and was a little sad to see they weren't home. She went into her room and curled up on the couch while I got Coco's supper ready. Coco was snoozing on the couch in the bedroom. She got up to say hi and got started on her food right away. I went into the living room to get Mia's leash and tried calling for her. No Mia. So, I dropped the clip part on the floor so she could hear it. Within a split second, she came barreling down the hallway as fast as she could!! It was such a beautiful night, so we took a nice long walk. Mia would stop in front of me every now and again so I'd pet her. When we got back in I mixed a half can of food in with her dry food, then sat at the table next to her. Within a couple of minutes she had polished off her whole bowl for me! She wanted to go back outside for a bit after, so I spent more time with Coco. This time she was curled up in the blankets on the bed. She looked so comfy! I asked Mia if she wanted a treat before I left, and she responded with a wagging tail and a "bark bark"!

Cali

Cali did her usual rolling around when I came in today. She followed me to the kitchen, then worked on her supper. Cali snuggled up in my lap today for awhile, after she finished eating. Later, we goofed around with her toys and shoe string. Cali decided to roll around on top of the shoe string for awhile. When she got up, the static made it cling to her back, so she was walking around with it stuck to her! She stopped to bat at it, then successfully got it off of her. She rolled around with some of her toys after that. When she was tired of playing, she curled up in her favorite chair to relax.

Cali

Today Cali was busy rolling around in the kitchen floor again when I came to see her. She came in with me and rubbed up against my legs while I got out her supper to warm up a little. Cali ran over to our spot to play ahead of me when I was finished! She plopped over onto the floor and stretched her legs out toward me. We played with her shoe string for a bit before she decided to come snuggle up to me. She took a break to go eat some supper. We played a little more after that. The string got stuck across her back and she walked around with it for awhile! Then she'd whip around to look at what was chasing her! She's so funny. Later, she hopped into her chair and started chewing on the pad. She moved it where she wanted, then curled up to get comfortable and relax.

Dakota & Benny

This afternoon even Benny was talking to me while I got them ready for their walk! They were both full of energy today. Benny and Kota were messing around with each other when we got started. It was so funny! Benny saw the neighbor across the street had their garage door open, and he sure didn't like it! He got excited way before we got to his doggy friend's houses and hopped all the way there to say hi. Kota was busy playfully pouncing on leaves that would roll past her in the breeze. They both stopped to check out new Halloween decorations in people's yards today too!

Cali

Today when I came to see Cali, she ran from the front door to the middle of the dining room, then started rolling around on the floor! She laid on her back for a minute then followed me into the kitchen while I got her food ready. She weaved in and out between my legs, just purring away! She worked on her yummy food while I cleaned her litter box. After we were finished we played with her shoe string for a little while. She was pretty snuggly today! She lost interest in the string and came over to curl up next to me. She rubbed her face on me while she purred. Cali caught the scent of other animals on my clothing today. She found a spot that she kept sniffing at. She even started licking me! She took little breaks to go much on her dry kibble, then would come back to lay by me. We played a little more before it was time to leave.

Cali

Cali met me at the door this afternoon. While her food was warming up, we played in the living room for a bit. She rolled around and batted at her red string first, then nudged at her purple jingle ball. While she nibbled on her food I took care of the litter pan. When I came out, I saw she had followed me. As soon as we made eye contact, she tumbled to the floor to roll around and purr some more! We played with a bunch of her toys this afternoon. She messed around with her paper tube, batting it around the floor. She laid on her back and swung her arms up at her little garfield toy too. Lastly, we played for a long time with her favorite - the shoe string!

Dakota & Benny

Today Kota and Benny were excited for their walk! Benny tried to sneak out his orange ball with us. It was a gorgeous day out for a nice long walk! Kota had fun hopping and chasing around after a little cricket on the sidewalk. It was the funniest thing! She was down on all fours and would slowly check under her paws to see if she got it. Benny was very talkative back and forth with all the neighbor dogs. We passed by a couple small kids that waved and said, "Hi puppies!". The little girl told her mom that puppies go "woof woof". Later a lady saw us walking and asked what their names were. Apparently she had found a lost dog a few days ago that looked just like Kota! When we got back home, Kota nibbled on her lunch. She would take a couple bites, walk into her cage, then decided she wanted a few more!

All three furry friends were waiting for me as I entered the home this evening! It was so cute! I let Toby outside to potty so I could play with the cats! Tyson enjoyed some tap water, while Morgan curled around my legs. Both "talked" a little bit and I thanked each of them for being such good kitties! Toby scratched at the door and came running in the house, straight for his toys. I laid on the floor and Toby would put a toy on my back and then it would fall off and he would hurdle over my back! It was time for me to go, so I gave each a little hug and kiss on the head! As I was leaving, Toby was sitting on the couch with a sad little look on his face; how sweet! I had such a great time; I will miss all three! Thanks for the fun times!

Toby, Morgan and Tyson

This afternoon, all three were resting when I arrived. Toby was in his usual spot, as was Tyson and Morgan. Doesn't Morgan look so content on his chair? I ran around with Toby in the back yard for awhile, then he did his usual routine; taking a lap around the fence! Back inside, I curled up with Tyson on the floor and gave him some tummy and head scratches. As soon as I got up and went into the kitchen, Tyson leaped up on to the counter and into the sink he went! I turned the water on for a few seconds, so he could get some cold water! He lapped it up and thanked me with a little "meow"; so cute! Toby was ready to come in and play with some toys. He ran around the living room and chose to chase the real cats instead of play with his toy cat! Each went to their safe places and Toby returned to continue playing fetch!

Toby, Morgan and Tyson

This morning Tyson was waiting at the door and rolled over so I could pet his tummy! Then Morgan came around the corner and said hello, as he stretched! I thought if I would say hello to the cats loud enough that would get Toby out of bed, but I guess I was wrong!! I found him laying on the bed, ready for his tummy rub! He then bolted out of bed and went to the door! We decided to go for a walk instead so we could take advantage of the quiet, peaceful morning! During our walk, Toby greeted the neighborhood dogs and sniffed every mailbox! We made our round and turned back home. Both Tyson and Morgan were waiting for us in the living room when we returned. A few scratches for each cat, a fresh bowl of food and water and it was time for me to go! See you later!!
