Toby, Tyson & Morgan

This morning Toby and Morgan were both snoozing on the back of the couch. Once he got up, Toby and I took a really long walk this morning! He was busy sniffing around at everything, looking for bugs and critters in the grass. When we got back home I fed him his breakfast. Tyson and Morgan were waiting for some attention too! Tyson was rolling around on the floor by me. This afternoon, I let Toby play out in the backyard. The neighbor dogs were actually moving the fence on the opposite side of where Toby was! I guess they were excited to see him. Toby roamed around the yard, then sat out on the far end to soak up some sun. He came back by me later and began to roll around in the grass. When we came in, Morgan was meowing at me to pet him. I looked around and found Tyson sleeping in his usual spot, the bathtub! He came out to say hi and followed me into the kitchen. I turned on the sink for him again, and boy did he jump up there quick!

Daisy & Indigo

The girls were both barking this morning as I came through the door. Daisy was bouncing along behind me as I was scooping the yard. She knew what was coming. This morning was nice and cool out, so the girls and I took a nice, really long walk! There weren't too many dogs out in their yards today for Indigo to say hi to. She's funny! Whenever her leash would get under her front legs, she'd stop walking until I fixed it! When we got back home they had their breakfast. Daisy was ready for a game of fetch when she was finished, so she brought her ball over to me. They ran back and forth bringing it back, until Daisy would decide to just hang onto it. She bounced it off my back a couple times! haha! I gave the girls some yummy treats before I left and told them that their parents would be back home today! They will sure be happy to see you!

Mandy, Erin, Oscar and Izzy

Erin and Mandy greeted me at the front door this morning! We went outside to potty and then back in for their morning treat and medication! The girls enjoyed their snack and then it was playtime! Erin played fetch, while Mandy sat on the couch and enjoyed some back scratches. I heard one of the cats talking, so I ventured out to see them! Oscar came right up to me and enjoyed some neck scratches. Izzy came out a little later and said hello! I went back in and the girls and I went outside for some breakfast and a bowl of fresh water. We enjoyed the sunrise and then it was time for me to go, but not without a few quick scratches for each one!

Mandy, Erin, Oscar and Izzy

As I entered the house, I could hear Erin welcoming me back! I opened the door and the girls ran inside and then all of a sudden, Oscar appeared! He was a little tentative, but snuck in and ran upstairs. We all followed and I was able to get Oscar to trust me and we took him out in the garage to join Izzy!

The girls were in an excited mood and wanted to play fetch and tug-o-war. Mandy snuck up behind Erin and grabbed her yellow toy; it was so funny! You can see in the picture how surprised Erin was! Then Mandy went to find her blue toy, so she could have her own! The girls didn't play too long, as they played hard all day. Both Mandy and Erin hopped up on the couch and settled in for the night. I gave them both some love and wished them sweet doggy dreams!
Goodnight!

Mandy, Erin, Oscar and Izzy

The girls met me this afternoon with friendly barks and wagging tails! They came in to cool off, as the sun was warm today! Mandy and Erin took turns at the fresh water bowl, then it was time for a game of tug-o-war with Erin and her yellow toy! Mandy decided she would rather get her tummy and back scratched, than to play! The girls and I went on the hunt to find Oscar, as he was hiding somewhere. Although we didn't find him, we did stop and say hello to Izzy, who was enjoying the warm garage. The girls went outside to eat and got a new fresh bowl of water. I tried to get them to come into the pool with me, but they just looked at me as I waded in the warm water! I gave a few more scratches to each little friend before I left and told them to keep an eye out for Oscar!

Toby, Tyson & Morgan

This morning Morgan was at the door meowing at me. Tyson came around the corner shortly after. I had to go looking for the sleepyhead! He was still laying in bed, but jumped down to see me when I came in the room. We took a nice long walk this morning. I saw something crawling around in the grass as we were walking. Toby saw it after I did and went to investigate. It was a crawdad! Toby got excited but I made sure he didn't get too close. He had his breakfast after we got home. This afternoon Toby played out in the backyard for a little bit. It was pretty toasty out, so he was ready to come inside to cool off. Morgan sat on the end table and watched us play around. Tyson hopped up into the kitchen sink! He started licking at the faucet, so I turned the water on to a slight dribble. He caught it with his paw and had a drink. Tonight Toby went out in the backyard for a little while again. The kitties were both out, wanting their attention. When I let Toby back inside, he went into his room and hopped on the bed. He had a whole bunch of his toys surrounding him! He grabbed his stuffed kitty and we played some tug of war. Then grabbed it in his mouth and shook it all over the place!

Daisy & Indigo

This morning the girls were very excited to see me. They sure knew that it was nice out today! They both were bouncing up and down, following me everywhere I went. Daisy went over to the counter and looked up at her leash. As soon as I got her purple collar on, they both started barking and were ready to go! They ran to the door and waited for me. It was pretty warm out already this morning and very humid, so we took a slightly shorter walk than normal. When we got home, Daisy cooled herself off by putting her feet in the water bowl again! After they finished their breakfast, Indigo brought me a ball and was ready for some fetch. Daisy was too pooped to chase after it at first. After awhile though, she took over!
Are you coming? We're ready!

Toby, Tyson & Morgan

Tonight everyone was out in the living room when I came in. Toby met me at the door and we went out in the backyard right away. Tyson came rubbing up against my leg and Morgan gave me a "meow meow" hello! Toby ran around in the darkness and was chasing after bugs for awhile! When we headed back inside I fed him his supper, then we chased around the living room. Toby even played a little hide and seek with me tonight! He disappeared off into the hallway, then I turned on lights in rooms to find him. When I turned on the right one, he came zooming past me! I found his little monkey toy laying in the bedroom, so we played with that for awhile. Toby squatted down on his front legs and teased me with his toy. Anytime I made a move for it, he would take off and run circles around the room! Morgan was watching from his little perch high up on the couch. Tyson was just louging on the floor in the kitchen! He didn't even flinch when Toby would get close.
Don't mind me, I'm just chillin'!
You can see Tyson lounging in the background! haha!

Dakota & Benny

Kota seemed to be feeling much better today! It finally stopped raining long enough for us to take our nice long walk today! Benny was soaked from the wet sidewalks in no time. He loved every minute though! Benny tried chasing after some cars that passed by us. Then he even got Kota excited too when he was barking back and forth with some of the neighborhood dogs. One of Benny's friends moved away, but he still thinks the dogs are out in the backyard everytime we walk by!

Sugar, Buddy, Jimmy & Charlie

Charlie bird was just gabbing away again this morning! I let Buddy and Jimmy out to play for awhile. They just messed around on the patio for a little bit, then decided they wanted back in. I gave Jimmy and Buddy their meds in turkey today. Buddy only took half of his pills. The rest I stuffed in a pigz 'n blankets treat and he gobbled it right up! Sugar came out and had some breakfast, then all went back outside again. This afternoon it had stopped raining, so the boys were able to roam around the yard for a bit.
