Today Benny did his laps and also did his little dance for me! Sometimes while I'm going to let Kota out of her kennel, Benny likes to stand on his back feet and do a little dance for me. So cute! I forgot to bring a plastic bag along with me today, just in case one of them decides to do their business. We took a nice walk today, a little longer than normal. They were both so excited for our walk! While we were on our way, a yellow plastic bag filled with air was floating around past us like a balloon. Kota and Benny were both curious and started chasing after it right away! As soon as Benny got to it, he grabbed it and started shaking it around with his head. He held onto it long enough for me to get it from him, and luckily we were able to use it later! Kota was squatting a lot again to pee on our walk today... not sure if you guys narrowed it down to her marking yet or not. Once we got home, Kota laid right in her kennel and Benny hung out in the kitchen. Kota went out in the backyard to go potty quick and I grabbed a ball for Benny.

Caleb
This morning I let Caleb outside right away, but he didn't want to go potty. He was already in play mode! I waited out there until he finally did, then he got his breakfast. He was ready for his walk when he finished, so I got his collar on and then we went on our way. We took a nice long walk this morning. Caleb found a couple dried up froggies on the ground and had to run over and smell them. Thankfully he didn't pick any up! There were all kinds of things for his sniffer today. He stopped by each garbage can that we passed, found a few dried up critters, and even a melty candy wrapper! There were also lots of other people out walking in the neighborhood today. When we got home we played for a little while before it was time to go. This afternoon, I came in through the garage instead because I brought the bin back inside. Caleb was anxious to see who was here! We went outside for awhile and I brushed him. He wanted to go back in, so we played fetch and keep-away with several of his toys. He grabbed one of my shoes today, but I just ignored him and redirected by playing with one of his toys. He immediately dropped the shoe and was only interested in the toy I had! We went back outside again and he roamed around the yard. He brought me another one of those pieces of cardboard or paper that he found in the yard like the day I met him. He dropped it for me and went back to exploring! He saw a bird on the other side of the fence and was just watching it. If there wasn't a fence there, I'm pretty sure he would've hunted it down! Later we played with his giant tennis ball out there. It was so hilarious! He was running, rolling himself over it, and trying to pick it up! As I was giving him his puzzle toy and putting him to bed, I told him mom would be home later. He was such a good boy for me!
Dakota & Benny
Kota was just yelling at me like crazy today when I came in! She hasn't woo-wooed at me like that in awhile... I guess she was happy to see me! I got them both hooked up and away we went. We took a pretty long walk today. The sun was warm, but the air wasn't quite as sticky, so Benny was able to go further. It was pretty quiet outside today. There were only a couple houses that had Benny's friends out in their backyards. So he tried chasing some cars instead! Kota wanted to go out in the backyard for a little bit when we got back home. Benny stayed inside this time and cooled off in the kitchen.

Caleb
This morning I let Caleb go potty real quick before I fed him his breakfast. He's so cute the way he prances around with his toy on the way out! He made sure to bring his orange puzzle toy with him. As soon as he finished he breakfast, he looked up on the counter at his leash and collar. He was ready for his morning walk! He danced around some more and got so excited when I picked it up. We went for a nice long walk this morning. He was pretty tired when we got home, but he still wanted to play! He wasn't as quick as he usually is, so I was able to get his squeaker from him more! We went to sit outside since it was so nice out. I was going to brush him, but he was too busy playing and having fun with his puzzle toy. He roamed around for awhile after that before we went back inside. I put a treat in one of his other toys and we played "keep away"!
Roxie, Ralphi & Rudy
This morning after everyone finished their breakfast, they all chased around the yard together. There were a couple of what sounded like Beagles, behind the fence crying and howling. Rudy sure didn't like that and barked along with them! I found the log in Rudy's kennel so I brought that outside for them to play with. I threw it for them once and after Ralphi got it, that was the last of that! He sat and gnawed on it, and once in awhile had the other two chasing him around. Roxie snuck it away from him while he got a drink of water! After he got it back from her, she came over by me and tried to catch flies for awhile!

Roxie, Ralphi & Rudy
This afternoon I let everyone outside in the backyard to go potty when I got there. I gave them some nice cool water and boy were they thirsty! I brought their leashes out back to get them all hooked up. They were all pretty excited! Rudy could barely hold still for me to get his collar on him! We walked until the little ones started to get too warm, then headed back home. I gave them more cool water and Rudy was lovin that up. He stuck his whole face in, then one paw... I think he wanted to go swimming! They spent a little time cooling off in the house before I gave them their treats and put them to bed. This evening they were happy to get outside again. They all were running around the yard like crazy! I left the light off to try and keep the bugs away and every now and then would see a flash of one of them zooming past me! Someone was lighting off fireworks in the distance and they all started barking at the sound. Rudy had a blast rolling around in the grass a couple times! They'd all come by me for some attention, then all three would zoom off together either chasing each other or some unusual noise they'd hear!
Caleb
Caleb was so excited to go for his walk after breakfast! He couldn't sit still long enough for me to get his collar on! We went for a nice long walk again this morning. There were lots of dogs out today in their backyards. They all had to bark to say hi to Caleb! Once we got home, he was pretty pooped out. I tossed his squeaker toy for him a few times. He was too tired to even want to play! He only walked over to get it a couple times, then gave up completely. He laid down by me to get pet for a little bit before we went to sit outside. I brushed him for a long time out there. I set the brush down to get his cable all untangled for him. He picked it up and brought it over to me, "Can you brush me some more please?". He sat so well and even laid down for a bit while he got brushed. When we went in I filled a couple of his puzzle toys with treats for him to play with. When he got frustrated with one, he would switch to a different one!

Maggie & Moe
The girls and I went to play outside right away when I got there. Miss Moe went in the grass and laid down to soak up some sun! Maggie played around with a rawhide she brought out. They both took a little dip in their pool then rolled around on the grass. Maggie found a worm! She was carrying it around for a little bit. I saw the bubble tube on the table, so I had the girls chasing some bubbles around! They laid in the shade on the patio for a few minutes before we went back inside so they could cool off. Miss Moe gave me all kinds of kisses! Magge wandered off into her room, so Moe and I went in by her. They both rolled over and got their tummies rubbed.
Toby, Tyson & Morgan
This morning Toby and I went for a nice long walk again! The sun was still just coming up, so it was cooler and breezy out. He was sleeping on top of the back of the couch with Morgan when I came in. He wanted to play while I tried to get his collar on! He squatted down on the ground and ran around when I'd get close. When we got back home, the kitties were standing behind the couch again, watching us come in. Morgan was very snuggly today! This afternoon it was pretty hot out, so Toby just played in the backyard for awhile. Tyson seemed to want to go outside too! I had to block him from making his way to the door. I could see the neighbor dogs through the wooden fence. They wanted to play with Toby! They kept following him around along the fence. Toby started to get warm out and wanted to go back inside. We chased each other around for a little bit. Tyson and Morgan both came close to get pet, but Toby would chase them away! Later he just wanted to snuggle on the couch and get his belly rubbed.
Caleb
This morning I fed Caleb his breakfast right after he went out potty. As soon as he was finished, we went for a nice long walk throughout the neighborhood. It was very nice out and not too hot yet, as the sun was still rising. Caleb stopped every now and again to smell something. He walked just excellent for me! When we got back home, we played fetch a little bit with his green squeaker. He got brushed outside for a little while this morning too! He sure liked that and sat so nicely for me. I uncovered his kennel before I left so he could watch out the window. This afternoon it was super hot out! I let him go outside in the backyard to do his business. He brought out his orange puzzle toy, but he sure didn't want to stay out very long! I got him some more fresh water when we came in and gave him a couple ice cubes to cool down. We chased around the house and played tug of war with his squeaker toy for a long time. He's so smart! He knows that if he walks around behind me in the opposite direction that my arm can bend, I let go! haha! I grabbed a couple of his puzzle toys and put treats in them for him to play with too. When he got tired, he rolled over by me to get his tummy rubbed.
