Pheonix, Coal & Oliver

This morning it was already starting to turn to freezing rain and sleet. The boys were happy to see me when I got there! I went outside with them and I walked out onto the grass to try and coax Coal to go potty. He did go for me, so that was good! When they came back in, they took turns eating and drinking. Pheonix came and sat by me like usual. He put his paw up on my knee a couple times this morning, so I let him out, but I guess he was just fibbing! Coal curled up on his little blankie while I pet him and Oliver laid under his table. At my early afternoon visit I went to check the mail, and the box was frozen shut! There was a layer of ice all over the mailbox. The boys all met me at the door and started bouncing around when I came in. I let them out potty and Coal wasn't sure about that white stuff! He eventually wandered out and went for me. Pheonix and Oliver were enjoying themselves and eating snow! They all came back in covered in white. At my late afternoon visit I decided to check the mail again, and it opened for me this time. The snow was starting to let up a little, but it'd be back later. I let the boys out multiple times while I was there. Pheonix kept giving me his signal to go out! When they were inside, they'd snuggle up and get nice and cozy. Coal seems to like to eat while I'm there, but the other two must eat when I leave. At my early evening visit the boys did their business and came back inside the warm house. They sure know when it's time for their yum yums! The snow is starting to get deep, but Pheonix sure doesn't seem to mind! They were starting to get sleepy, so they all made themselves comfy and relaxed. Oliver and Pheonix met me at the door for my late evening visit. Coal was all curled up sleeping on his blankie! Someone must have decided they wanted to play with the paper calendar on the table. It was on the floor and had a couple holes in it. They all went out for me a few times and got their yum yums for going potty. Afterward they snuggled up on the floor by me and went to sleep.
Time for yum yums!!!

Harvi, Porthos & Athos

I went to see Harvi and the boys a little earlier today due to the weather and road conditions. I figured the boys would be happy to get inside too! They were both sitting in the garage and peeked out at me when I pulled up. You acquired some new pets while you were gone! There were two little robins in the garage. They must have crawled in through the opening when the kitties weren't looking! I put the boys inside and opened the garage all the way to get them out. They didn't want to go! Too cold! I finally gave up and got Harvi's food ready. She was all holed up in her house, with snow drifts at the entrance. She didn't want to come out at first. After I dug her bowl out of the snow I let her in the garage to eat so she could warm up a little. I stayed with her until she was finished then let her back out. She didn't like the birds in the garage! I went inside and spent some time with the boys. I did a longer visit today since they were home and stuck inside. They were super snuggly today! When it was getting to be time to go, I figured I'd give it one more shot to try and get the birds out. I didn't want the boys to be bringing "presents" in the house! I took a broom and helped them find their way, and they went right out.
"Stop! No more pictures!"

Koko & Sierra

The girls were all snuggled up on the bed this morning and came stretching down the steps to see me. I thought maybe Miss Sierra was on a routine of eating her breakfast and not her dinner for me, but she didn't want to eat this morning. She did pick off all the pieces of chicken though. When I came in tonight, Sierra hadn't finished all of her food and someone had vomited, so my guess was her. I got her fresh food for supper, but she still wasn't interested. While I was cleaning up their potty pads she was whining at me. Then she started jumping around and rolling all over the floor! We didn't really have time to play lighty tonight since I was cleaning up, and I think they were pretty disappointed. I can't blame them! We'll have to make up for it tomorrow!

Pheonix, Coal & Oliver

This morning Pheonix was up already and met me at the door. The other two were still sleeping. Oliver was snuggled up on the couch and Coal was sleeping in the kitchen on the rug. Coal didn't wake up until I went over by him and called his name! He must be a deep sleeper. They all went out for me this morning when I got there and again before I left. They were still pretty sleepy so they all curled up by me for awhile. For my early afternoon visit, I let the boys spend as much time outside as possible, since they'd probably be cooped up tomorrow. Oliver always waited until I was fully outside to come out with us. They all explored around the yard and enjoyed the nice warm sun. Pheonix got a little jealous... I was petting Coal and he came over and pulled my hand away with his paw! For my late afternoon visit we all spent the majority of it outside. Pheonix and I ran around the yard for a bit while Oliver was saying hi to Max. After they were all tired out they laid in the house by the kitchen. Tonight at my early night visit they were all ready to go outside! When they were done they all ran into the kitchen and waited for their yum yums! The boys lounged around inside and Coal had some supper. I turned on the tv for them for the night and left their night light on. I also turned the heat on, so they'll be nice and warm when the cold hits! For my late night visit the boys all met me at the door when I came in. It had been raining now for awhile, and definitely is getting cold out! I let them all out and went outside with them. Coal came out, but didn't want to venture out into the grass to go potty. I tried taking him out front, but the rain was blowing around so bad, that didn't work either. I'm sure he'll have to go when I come in the morning and maybe it will have turned over by then. They were all pretty sleepy and laid down shortly after they came inside. They're all doing great!

Koko & Sierra

The girls both ate their breakfast right away for me this morning! After I cleaned their potty pads, we played lighty for awhile. Koko was chasing it all over the place. Sierra would sometimes pounce on it, but then other times she would just sit, stare at my hand and let out a little cry! Tonight the girls were busy sniffing me when I got there. I had just come from seeing some other puppy dogs, so they had to check it out. I got their supper ready while Koko was jumping up and down by my leg. Sierra didn't want to eat for me tonight again. She waited patiently for me to finish my duties so we could play! They both had a lot of energy tonight and chased the light around a lot more than usual. A couple times Koko saw where the light was originating from and would jump up and try to bite the laser pen in my hand! haha!

Harvi, Porthos and Athos

When I arrived tonight neither Port nor Atti greeted me outside.  They must be having too much fun out there with the nice weather! I went out back to feed Harvi and she was sleeping in her house but woke right up and came out to see me and get some attention and eat.  I went back and filled up the kitties food and tried to see if I could get them to come in for me.  I walked around the house calling for them before going back to see Harvi one more time hoping they would show up.  Before leaving I went around the house and tried one last time calling for them but they didn't want to come come out for me tonight.  They seemed to ate their food last night so hopefully I'll see them tomorrow and they can come in. I might try to visit them earlier tomorrow since the weather is supposed to be cold and snowy, and I'm sure they'll want to come in!

Daisy, Prissy and Ally

When I came in this afternoon, both Prissy and Ally were out and about.  Prissy was laying on the couch in the living room so I spent a couple minutes with her and meanwhile Ally came out of the dining room to check things out.  She came right up to me and let me pet her for a little bit.  Then I went up to see Daisy.  She came hopping out of her cage right away tonight without hesitation.  She was letting me pet her for a little while, but after I got her fresh water and added food to her bowl she didn't seem to want to much attention from me.  But she explored the hallway for a little bit then she checked out all her toys in her room.  She spent a little time laying behind her cage again tonight.  She went right back into her cage for me when it was time to go.

Dakota & Benny

Kota was excited to go for a walk today! She was yelling at me the whole time until we finally got out the door. We had a younger boy walk up to us, saying how he just loves huskies. So he said hi to Kota for a minute! It was such a beautiful day out for our walk. It was a little windy, so Kota had a ball chasing after a styrofoam cup blowing around in the wind. Kota & Benny were panting pretty heavily and we were only half way! Benny still had enough energy to perk up every time he heard a dog bark. They both heard one bark from a couple houses down, and both started running full speed! When we got home they were pretty pooped. Benny crashed flat on the floor after a quick drink. Kota had some lunch and got a big drink of water and then went to lay in her kennel.

Pheonix, Coal, Oliver

The boys all greeted me at the door tonight. Pheonix was very happy to see me! I let them all out right away and they all went. We came in and they got their yum yums! I put the water down and gave them some ice cubes. Pheonix was of course right there to start drinking! Oliver was a little shy around me for the first visit, but I'm sure he will warm up soon. Pheonix and I ran around in the backyard for a little while. He was tearing around like crazy! Anytime I called his name he'd come running to me! He gave me so many kisses tonight. Anytime he was near me he was licking my face! After we settled down a little bit Coal came over and sat by me and Oliver sat under his table. Tonight I came and let them all out again. They all went potty quick and came right back in for their yum yums! I didn't give them too much water, but Pheonix wasn't really drinking a whole lot anyways. He was too pre-occupied with me being there! He was by me pretty much the whole time, constantly giving me kisses. Oliver was the one who actually drank the most. He made some progress and came up to me a lot more tonight. He really likes me when I have yum yums to give! Coal had some supper while I was there. I sat down on the floor by the kitchen and after they were all done eating and drinking, they all came and laid down by me for awhile. Coal and Pheonix were on either side of me and Oliver was next to Coal. They were some sleepy boys I guess! I let them all go out potty once more before it was time to go.

Koko & Sierra

This morning the girls were wide awake when I came in. The killed one of their toys since I came to see them last night! There was stuffing all over the floor! I picked that all up and got their breakfast ready. Sierra was a very good girl and ate all her food right away. After I cleaned up their potty pads we played lighty for a little bit before I left. Tonight I let the girls out and they were dancing around me as I got their supper ready. Koko raced me to the living room as I brought her food. Sierra took maybe one piece of chicken out of her bowl, then wasn't interested in the rest. Too excited to play lighty! She stared me down until I finished cleaning up their potty pads. Koko came to join in and hopped around on the bed. We went in the living room to play lighty and I had Koko running in big circles!
Are you done yet??? I'm ready!
