Harvi, Porthos & Athos

Well Porti was happy to see me! I think he was almost permanently attached to my legs while I was there! He's such a sweetheart. I gave him lots of attention then let him out into the garage to eat. I closed the garage and opened the kitty door. I decided to keep them in tonight since I didn't see Atty anywhere. I tried calling and looking for him, but no such luck. Maybe tomorrow he will be hungry for some attention! I gave Harvi her food and her last pill that was in the container. She came right up like she used to for me and even hung around after she was done to get pet a little. Hopefully you don't mind, but I had to grab a spoon out of the kitchen to get her canned food out. It didn't just pour out of the can like it used to for me!

Sierra & Koko

It's been awhile since I've seen the girls, but they were just as excited to see me tonight! Koko was jumping up and down, jumping at my legs. I got their food ready and Sierra maybe ate one piece of the chicken, but was still more interested in her lighty! I was cleaning up their potty pads and they were both running in and standing in the way giving me a look like, "come on let's play!". Koko ran up and gave me kisses and Sierra came and sniffed at my face and put her nose in my hair. lol The doorbell rang after that and startled all of us! I looked out the window and saw the ups truck driving away. So both your packages are inside. We played with the lighty for a little bit before I left. I told them good night and I'd see them in the morning!

Cali

Cali was a lot snugglier with me today. I gave her a new flavor of soft food when I got there. She must really like the Tuna flavor. She hasn't ever eaten that much of what I give her in one sitting! I think there was only a couple little bites of it still in the bowl when I left today. Cali curled up in my lap a few times and walked around behind me, rubbing up against my back. One time she came around and I touched her head. Then she got this crazy look in her eye! She yelled at me, but then she ran over to her mousey and started playing with it. I guess she was feeling like a little rambunctious kitty! She started throwing the mouse up in the air, batting at it and carrying it around in her mouth. Usually she doesn't play with the mouse by herself when I'm there, so that was pretty entertaining!

Dakota & Benny

I saw your note on the table and left you one back. Dakota seemed fine when I came in. She was her usual excited self, jumping around and doing her "woo woo" at me! I think she was happy to finally get to go on her walk. She pulled harder than ever. I almost had to run! We passed a house that had snowflakes lining the driveway and Kota ran up and licked one! They are walking better and better every time I see them. Benny hardly stops and leaves his mark as often as he used to. I think he got everything once already! lol Anyways, we walked the furthest we ever have today! It was very nice out too. When we got home Dakota drank a bunch of water and ate most of her food. I think whatever was bothering her must be better now.

Cali

Cali is doing fine today! She ate all her soft food from yesterday and was ready for some more when I came in. Today when I scooped out her litterbox, instead of watching me from the hallway she was purring and rubbing up against my legs. I think somebody really misses daddy! I noticed her mousey was missing this afternoon, so I looked in the closet and sure enough, there it was! We played with that for awhile. Then she decided to climb up on her chair and rest. She spent the rest of the time up there and didn't feel like snuggling up with me in my lap. So I just pet her head and talked to her till it was time to go.

Cali

Cali was at her post by the front door like normal today. I got her food out and warming up, then sat down on the floor to play with her. I no more than sat down, and she had made herself comfortable in my lap again! She sat and snuggled for awhile. I cleaned her litter pan while she nibbled on her soft food. After I was done, she did what my kitties always do... use the nice freshly cleaned litter pan! So I cleaned it out one more time before I left. lol She was more interested in watching out the window the rest of the time, than the fact that I was there. She would come down when I called her and get a little attention from me, then go back to her perch in the window. When I was walking up to the door today there were three squirrels outside fighting, making squeaky noises and running around. I heard their squeaking when I was inside with Cali, so that must be what she was so interested in!

Dakota & Benny

I think Dakota missed having her walk on Friday! She was super excited to get going. She was pulling pretty hard while I was locking up. We started our walk, and I got startled by a lady who was jogging and came up along side us. Benny didn't like that too much and started barking right away, so I stopped so we could get some distance between us. After we started again, I saw a huge chocolate lab come up beside us and it scared the crap outta me! I looked and no one was around and he didn't have a leash or tags on his collar. I tried to keep walking, but he wouldn't leave us alone. He got close enough one time that he and Benny started growling at each other, so I decided it was time to go back home. I couldn't stop three dogs from doing anything by myself, so I'd rather be on the safe side. He followed us all the way back home and stood outside the door for awhile. I took Benny and Dakota out in the backyard to play for the rest of our visit. The lab came over to the fence for awhile again. Dakota had a blast tearing around the back yard, while Benny and I played fetch. Well, it was more me that was doing the fetching! haha! He would just go run and grab it, then lay down with it. Dakota joined in a little too. She would grab the ball and start jumping around like a little bunny!

Cali

Cali wasn't waiting for me at the door today! I called her when I got in and she came barreling down the hallway. She hadn't finished off her soft food, so I'm guessing she was sick of that flavor! I picked out a new one and she ate most of it right away. She was quite snuggly today, enough to even make herself comfortable on my lap! She sat there for quite awhile and I pet her head. Then she decided to get up and nibble on her hard food. When she was done, she came back and snuggled into my lap again and sat there almost the whole rest of the time I was there! She's warming up to me pretty quickly!

Duffy & Dory

The girls were all snuggled up in the chair when I came in today! Duffy seems to be more comfortable with me now. She didn't hide in the bedroom today. Maybe she thinks I'm not so bad after I gave her treats! She was rolling around on the chair while I pet her and Dory was at my feet waiting with her ball. She used her squeaky ball today instead of the other one. I threw it up in the air a few times and she caught it every time! They both waited outside the bathroom while I cleaned the box. I think they were waiting for something... so I gave them both a treat again before I left. They will be happy to see you when you get home!

Roxie, Ralphi & Rudy

It was raining again this morning, but a little warmer than last night. I think I surprised them this time when I came in! They were a bunch of sleepyheads this morning. I let them out and gave them their breakfast. Rudy finished first and wanted to play fetch for a bit. After the other two were done, then Ralphi and Rudy chased around again. Roxie came by me to get her tummy rubs. I found a few itchy spots and she would kick her legs back. I had to ignore her for a few minutes so she would go potty! Ralphi came over for awhile too. I think the little ones got chilly towards the end, so I let them in a few minutes early so they could warm up. I got them all cleaned up. They were a little muddier than last night, but still not too bad. I gave them a few treat pieces again before I put them to bed. I told them mom and dad would be back today!
